Glenn J. Chamandy is President and Chief Executive Officer of Gildan Activewear. Mr. Chamandy is one of the founders of the Corporation and has devoted his entire career to building the Corporation into an industry leader.
Michael R. Hoffman joined Gildan in November 1997. He served as Vice-President, Sales and Marketing for the international division until his appointment as President of Gildan Activewear SRL in February 2001. Prior to joining Gildan, Mr. Hoffman was employed by Fruit of the Loom, where he last served as Divisional Vice-President of the Activewear Division.
Mr. Sellyn joined Gildan Activewear as Chief Financial Officer in April 1999. In December 2005, his responsibilities were expanded to include responsibility for corporate administrative functions, and his title was changed to Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. He has previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer and other senior level corporate officer positions with long established Canadian public companies in a variety of industries. Mr. Sellyn is a U.K. Chartered accountant and also obtained an M.A. from Oxford University

Benito Masi has been involved in manufacturing in North America for the past 25 years. He joined Gildan in 1986, when the company was first starting up, and held various positions until February 2001 when he was appointed Vice-President, Apparel Manufacturing. He was subsequently appointed to the position of Executive Vice-President, Manufacturing, in January 2005. Before joining the company, he held various positions such as plant manager for an apparel company, and was director and member of the executive board for the Union national du vĂȘtement, textile et autres industries in Montreal.
Eric R. Lehman joined Gildan in December 2006 as Executive Vice-President, Supply Chain. He has over twenty years of experience in the supply chain function with major apparel brands. Mr. Lehman graduated from the George Mason University, Virginia, U.S., with a bachelor of Public Administration in 1984.
Mr. Sam joined Gildan Activewear in 1995 as Director of Operations and was named Executive Vice-President, Operations in 1998. Before joining Gildan, he held various managerial positions in Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Fabric Sourcing, Production Planning and Sales at Dominion Textiles, in Montreal, for over 15 years. He had previously worked in a family manufacturing business in East Africa. Mr. Sam holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Montreal.
Robert M. Baylis has served as a director since May 2000 and is the Chairman of the Company's Finance & Risk Management Committee and a member of the Company's Nominating & Governance Committee. Mr. Baylis was Vice Chairman of CS First Boston, a position he held until 1996, and prior to his retirement was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CS First Boston Pacific Inc. Mr. Baylis is a director of New York Life Insurance Company, Host Marriott Corporation, Covance, Inc., and is Chairman of the Board for Gildan Activewear, Inc. He is an overseer of the University of Pennsylvania Museum and a Trustee of the Rubin Museum of Art. Mr. Baylis is a member of the Advisory Council of the Economics Department of Princeton University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Gonzalo F. Valdes-Fauli1 2 is Chairman of Broadspan Capital, an investment banking firm specializing in advisory and debt services. Mr. Valdes-Fauli retired from Barclays Bank PLC (a major UK-based global bank) in 2001 as Vice Chairman, Barclays Capital, and Group CEO Latin America. Mr. Valdes-Fauli serves on the board of directors of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida (health insurance provider), Knight Ridder, Inc. (newspaper and Internet publishing) and as chairman of Republic Bank (financial services provider), Dominican Republic. He is also trustee emeritus of the University of Miami.
Pierre Robitaille1 2 is a business advisor. Mr. Robitaille previously pursued his career at SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., an engineering-construction firm, where he was Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer from 1990 to 1998. Prior to this, Mr. Robitaille was in public practice for more than twenty years with the public accounting and management consulting firm of Ernst & Whinney, where he held the positions of Managing Partner of the Montreal office, President of the firm in Québec, and member of its national board of directors. Mr. Robitaille also serves on the board of directors of Cogeco Cable Inc. and Cogeco Inc. (providers of cable TV, Internet and broadcast services), Swiss Re Company of Canada and Swiss Re Life & Health Co. Canada (global reinsurance company).
Richard P. Strubel is Vice Chairman of Cardean Learning Group, and previously served as the company's President and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining Cardean, Mr. Strubel served as president and CEO of Microdot Inc., a manufacturing corporation with sales of $400 million and as president of Northwest Industries, then a New York Stock Exchange company with sales in excess of $3 billion. Mr. Strubel is a trustee of all the institutional and retail mutual funds managed by Goldman, Sachs & Co., as well as the retail and institutional funds of The Northern Trust Company. He is a director of other companies, including Gildan Activewear Inc. He is a member of the board of trustees of the University of Chicago. Mr. Strubel was educated at Williams College and Harvard Business School.
Sheila O'Brien2 3 President of Belvedere 1 Investments, is a Corporate Director and business consultant specializing in workforce and leadership capacity. She has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas, pipeline and petrochemical sectors in Canada, South America, the USA and Europe. She has held executive positions in the areas of human resources, investor relations, public affairs and government relations with Amoco International, Petro-Canada and Nova Corporation. She created and implemented an innovative workforce restructuring program based on the dignity of the employee, which was designated a Worldwide Best Practice by Watson Wyatt International Consultancy. In addition, she has been active in the not-for-profit sector, having served on over 25 Boards of Directors, dealing primarily with Human Rights, Women's rights and giving voice to marginalized members of society, and is the founder of several enduring community events celebrating the accomplishments of women. She was invested in the Order of Canada in 1998. She currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Gildan, a publicly traded, vertically-integrated marketer and apparel manufacturer based in Montreal, Advantage Energy Income Fund, a Calgary-based, publicly traded income trust, Skye Resources, a Vancouver-based, publicly traded nickel mining company and MaRS, a biotechnology accelerator based in Toronto. In 2006 and 2007 Ms. O'Brien served on the Board of Directors of TransForce Income Fund, Canada's largest trucking enterprise, publicly traded and headquartered in Montreal.
