It operates as two units: Entertainment, providing the entertainment industry with CDs, DVDs, jewel boxes and printed materials; and Glenayre Messaging, offering voice, data, fax and messaging services to wireless and regional telephone companies. The company had 2005 revenue of about $267.8 million and employs approximately 2,190 people. In July 2006, it acquired the shares of Deluxe Global Media Services Blackburn Limited, a subsidiary of The Rank Group plc, for a purchase price of approximately $6 million in cash, excluding expenses, and subject to customary balance sheet and working capital adjustments.
