Deepak Desai is the President and Chief Executive Officer of GlobalEnglish Corporation. Mr. Desai has over 20 years of strong financial and operating experience, most notably with Time Warner Inc., where he spent twelve years in senior financial positions in New York and Asia. From 1995 to 1999, he served as General Manager/CFO for Time Life Asia, managing the children's education, ESL, and direct marketing businesses. He received a B.S. in commerce from the University of Bombay and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Sam Neff ist Vice President Produktentwicklung. Mr. Neff hat uber 16 Jahre Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet der Unterrichtssoftware. Susan Pfendt ist Vice President weltweites Privatkundengeschaft. Ms. Pfendt leitet den elektronischen Handel bei GlobalEnglish sowie Verbrauchermarketing und Privatkundengeschaft. Ms. Pfendt hat mehr als 18 Jahre Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet Verkauf, Marketing und Operations in der Unterrichts- und Technologiebranche. Sie war 14 Jahre lang bei Apple Computer Inc. tatig, wo sie Mitbegrunderin von Apples elektronischem Handel war und hatte die Position eines Director fur die Unternehmensbereiche Unterrichtsprodukt, Verkauf und Marketing inne. Ms. Pfendt erhielt einen BS im Handel von der Santa Clara University.

Stephen Patrick ist einer der Grunder des Unternehmens. Er war 8 Jahre lang Leiter der Technologie bei GlobalEnglish. Er war ein Grunder und President von Sensei Software, einem Entwickler naturwissenschaftlicher und mathematischer Lernsoftware fur die Gymnasialstufe. Er war au erdem Mitgrunder und President von Personal News, Inc., einem Online-Service fur Einzelinvestoren, der 1995 von Intuit ubernommen wurde. Mr. Patrick erhielt seinen BA in internationalen Beziehungen von der Yale University und seinen MBA in Betriebswirtschaft von der Stanford University.

Inga Pedersen ist Director Verkaufsbetrieb. Sie besitzt uber 13 Jahre Erfahrung in der Unterrichtssoftwarebranche und hatte mehrere Tatigkeiten in den Bereichen Verkaufsbetrieb, Projektmanagement und Kundenbetreuung inne. Ms. Pedersen erhielt ihren BA in Rhetorik und Kommunikation von der University of California, Davis.

Jinlei Ni ist Director China Kids. Vor seinem Eintritt bei GlobalEnglish war Mr. Ni von 2000 bis 2004 CEO und President von Beida-Online Network Co, einem fuhrenden Anbieter eines Online-Unterrichtsservice in China. Mr. Ni erhielt seinen BS in Computerwissenschaften von der Universitat Peking.

Joe Minutoli ist Director Verkauf fur die Region Asien-Pazifik. Er ist seit dem Jahr 2000 fur GlobalEnglish tatig und war vorher Stellvertreter des Chefsyndikus und Director of Sales Operations. Tom Kahl is the Corporate Sales Director for the United States. Mr. Kahl is responsible for corporate sales and support in America. Prior to joining GlobalEnglish, he was Vice President of EMEA for SmartForce (now SkillSoft). Mr. Kahl received his B.S. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

William A. Dinsmore has served as a Director of GlobalEnglish since November 2000 and has been an investor in and senior advisor to the Company since its founding. From 1985 to 1995 Mr. Dinsmore served as the Chief Executive Officer of The Learning Company, Inc. and developed the company's extensive product line into the leading quality brand of educational software. Mr. Dinsmore received his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California and his B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees.

Marci Davis ist Controller. Vor ihrer Tatigkeit bei GlobalEnglish hat Ms. Davis uber 20 Jahre lang Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet Rechnungs- und Finanzwesen gesammelt. Sie war Director of Finance, Capital Projects and Commitments bei DHL Worldwide Express. Patti Halprin ist Produktionsleiterin Produktentwicklung Kids. Ms. Halprin hat eine uber 20-jahrige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung preisgekronter Bildungssoftwareprodukte. Vor ihrer Tatigkeit bei GlobalEnglish war sie Director fur Produktdesign bei The Learning Company, wo sie Bestseller-Produkte entwickelte und herstellte, darunter Reader Rabbit's Interactive Reading Journey, Reader Rabbit 2, Treasure Mountain! und Treasure MathStorm!. Ms. Halprin ist im Besitz eines MBA von der Santa Clara University.

William Rauth ist Corporate Secretary des Unternehmens. Er gehort seit 1975 zu den Grundungsgesellschaftern der Anwaltskanzlei Stradling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth in Newport Beach. Barbara Foley is associate professor of English at Union County College in New Jersey, and is former director of the Institute for Intensive English at the college. Professor Foley is author of Listen to Me!, Now Hear This!, and The New Grammar in Action series (Heinle & Heinle). She has also co-authored Lifelines 1-4, a textbook series for recent immigrants (Pearson Education). Professor Foley holds an M.A. in TESOL from Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Daphne Mackey is director of special programs in English as a second language at the University of Washington Extension. She has developed materials and provided teacher training for a wide range of corporate language programs. Professor Mackey is the author of Contact USA, Grammar Plus, and More Grammar Plus (Pearson Education), as well as the new Kaleidoscope Reading & Writing series (Houghton Mifflin). She earned her M.Ed. and M.B.A. at Boston University.

Dr. David Nunan ist Leiter des Bereichs und Inhaber des Lehrstuhls fur angewandte Linguistik an der University of Hong Kong. Von 1999 - 2000 war er Prasident von International TESOL. Dr. Fernando Fleurquin is academic director of the Alianza Cultural Uruguay Estados Unidos in Montevideo, Uruguay. He has coordinated workshops at international venues with Kathleen Bailey, David Nunan, and other leaders in the field of ESL/EFL (English as a Second Language/English as a Foreign Language). Dr. Fleurquin holds an M.D. from the University of the Republic (Uruguay) and a TEFL degree from the Alianza.

Joseph A. McVeigh is associate director for programs in ESL (English as a Second Language) and TESOL at the Center for Educational Technology at Middlebury College in Vermont. A chief focus of Professor McVeigh's work is exploring new and innovative methods of delivering language instruction through technology. Professor McVeigh is a former member of the board of directors of International TESOL. He holds an M.A. in TESOL from Biola University in California.

Dr. Linda Blanton is professor of English and director of the university honors program at the University of New Orleans. She is former chair of the department of English and coordinator of the university's program in English as a second language. Dr. Blanton has authored a number of best-selling writing textbooks, including the Composition Practice and The Multicultural Workshop series as well as the scholarly book Varied Voices on Language and Literacy Learning (Heinle & Heinle). She earned her Ph.D. in linguistics from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Dr. Mary Ann Christison is professor of linguistics at the University of Utah and former president of International TESOL. She is the author of more than 50 books and scholarly articles on teaching ESL (English as a Second Language). Dr. Christison is a leading expert on the role that the brain plays in guiding the language learning process. She is also an authority on content-based language instruction and the application of multiple intelligence theory to second language learning. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Utah.
