Dr. Phillip Silberberg is a Board Certified Radiologist with Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Pediatric Radiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of the Witwatersrand Medical School in Johannesburg, South Africa. He completed his residency in Radiology at McMaster University Medical Center in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and his Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He began his career in Pediatric Radiology at Doerenbecher Children's Hospital/Oregon Health Sciences University in 1995. Since 2001 he was a staff radiologist at Omaha Children's Hospital and an Affiliate Associate Professor of Radiology at Creighton University and University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska. He will be joining Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky in May, 2008. Dr. Silberberg has an earned authorship on more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications and has contributed over 1,200 teaching cases which are available free globally on MyPacs.net.
