Edmond Routhier became Purple's President in January, 2008. Mr. Routhier joined Hands On Video Relay Services, Inc. as its President in September 2006. Prior to joining Hands On, Mr. Routhier was Managing Member of Caymus Investment Group, LLC, which makes private equity and debt investments. Mr. Routhier served as the chief executive officer of Sportsuniverse, Inc., an application service provider for a patented channel management software solution, from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, Sportsuniverse, Inc. was acquired by Fogdog.com, which went public in December 1999. Prior to joining Sportsuniverse, Inc. and Fogdog.com, from 1992 to 1997, Mr. Routhier was founder and chief executive officer of Rock'N Tacos, Inc., the parent company of Rock'N Tacos, JuiceGym and Rojoz Restaurants. Rock'N Tacos, Inc. was sold in 1997.

Jesse Odom, a founding member of GoAmerica, developed Go.Web , the company's first wireless offering. Since that time, Odom has served as CTO, responsible for overseeing the development of the company's wireless communications solutions and services. Jesse brings 14 years of networking and software development experience to his position. Prior to joining GoAmerica, Jesse served at AIOC Corporation as Vice President of Network Engineering.
Prior to joining Purple Communications in April, 2008, Mr. Ferron served as Chief Financial Officer of Celerity, Inc., a company engaged in the design, engineering and manufacturing of precision instruments and advanced gas and liquid delivery solutions for the global semiconductor capital equipment market. He was CFO from December 23, 2004 through January 31, 2008 as well as interim COO from late 2006 until his departure. Prior to his work at Celerity, John was Chief Financial Officer of Kinetics Group, Inc. from February 2000 through December 2004 and was Vice President of Finance for Commercial PC Division of Compaq Computer from February 1998 through January 2000. Mr. Ferron brings twenty years of financial experience, primarily in high technology manufacturing companies, and has a B.S. degree in Finance from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Science in Tax and Financial Planning from San Diego State University.

Joseph Korb joined GoAmerica in 1997 as Executive Vice President and has been a director since October 1996. From May 2002 to March 2004, Mr. Korb served as our Executive Vice Chairman, having served as our President from November 2000 until May 2002. Mr. Korb is currently a principal in three privately held companies that specialize in software solutions and services for embedded systems.

Donald Barnhart serves as GoAmerica's Chief Financial Officer, responsible for the company's financial, human resources and other administrative departments. Donald joined GoAmerica in 1999 and became its vice president and controller in 2000 until his appointment as Chief Financial Officer in March 2004. He brings 24 years of public and private accounting experience to his position, including 12-years of SEC reporting. Prior to joining GoAmerica, he was with Bogen Communications and owned his own accounting and consulting firm. Donald is a CPA in New Jersey and is a graduate of Rutgers University.
Janet joined Purple Communications in July, 2008, after Purple Communications's acquisition of Sign Language Associates, the company Janet founded and where she held the position of President & CEO. Prior to founding SLA, the nation's oldest and largest private interpreting firm, Janet's work history included positions at the National Association of the Deaf and Gallaudet University. Janet was in private practice when she joined forces with other DC-area interpreters to help establish SLA. Janet is a pioneer in the field of performing arts interpreting, having earned her SC:PA in 1979. A certified member of RID since 1977, Janet served on the RID Board of Directors from 1990 – 95 (as Secretary, Treasurer and President), including two terms as President of RID. Janet continues to serve on the NAD/RID National Council on Interpreting, which has responded to the national interpreter shortage, supported the revision of the new joint Code of Professional Conduct, and developed and launched the new joint national interpreter certification (NIC). Janet also serves on the RID Professional Standards Committee, and was an active member of RID's ad hoc Video Interpreting Committee tasked with creating the first standard practice paper on VRS. She is a past member of the Board of Directors of Deaf REACH and sits on the advisory committees of several Interpreting Programs.

Mr. Sutcliffe joined Purple Communications in May, 2007, as Director of Product Development, and was promoted to his current role in 2008. George brought with him over 15 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, and Business Development in the communications industry. Prior to joining Purple Communications, George spent six years with Pac-West Telecomm. There, he worked as the Director of Product Marketing, Senior Director of Marketing, and finally the Senior Director of Business Development. George has made a positive impact on such companies as DCI; DIGI-CELL, Inc.; Logix Communications, Inc.; and NetStream, Inc. George graduated with an Executive Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University, San Francisco and received a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Mr. Pendergast joined Purple Communications as General Counsel in April, 2008, and was appointed Secretary on May 2, 2008. From April 2007 until joining Purple Communications, Mr. Pendergast served as General Counsel to PureDepth, Inc., a publicly traded technology and licensing company. He held previous positions with GlobalEnglish Corporation, an e-learning company, serving as General Counsel, Vice President of Business Affairs, and Assistant-Secretary from February 1999 to April 2006, and,as a part time consultant from May 2006 to December 2006. Prior to that time, Mr. Pendergast served as General Counsel (from June 1998 to October 1998) and Associate General Counsel (from May 1996 to June 1998) to Brøderbund Software, a NASDAQ-listed software company, and before that as General Counsel of The Learning Company, another NASDAQ-listed software company.

Mr. Lyons has served since 2004 as a principal of Den Ventures, LLC, a consulting firm focused on business, financing, and merger and acquisition strategies for public and private companies. From 2002 until 2004, Mr. Lyons served as a managing partner of the Nacio Investment Group, and President of Nacio Systems, Inc., a managed hosting company that provides outsourced infrastructure and communication services for mid-size businesses. Prior to forming the Nacio Investment Group, Mr. Lyons served as Vice President of Acquisitions for Expanets, Inc., a national provider of converged communications solutions. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of Amnex, Inc. and held various executive management positions at Walker Telephone Systems, Inc. and Inter-tel, Inc. He has served as one of our directors since July 2005.

King Lee joined our Board of Directors in January 2003. Mr. Lee currently serves as the Managing Partner of Resource Capitalist, LLC, an executive management consulting firm. During his career he has served as the chief executive officer of a number of companies, both public and private. Mr. Lee has spent the last thirteen years investing in turnaround companies, and during that same period Mr. Lee was also the co-founder of Wynd Communications Corp., which became a wholly-owned subsidiary of GoAmerica in June 2000. Mr. Lee served on the board of directors of Wynd Communications Corp. until its acquisition by us. Mr. Lee also serves on the boards of directors of several privately held companies.

Zachary Prensky is the founder and Managing Director of Little Bear Investments. Before entering the investment arena, Zachary spent 18 months as the CFO of a Brooklyn-based catering firm, and before that he developed a proprietary enterprise software package for shoe importers. Zachary went on to build his first investment firm in 1997, Zackfoot Investments, and completed a number of private placements for emerging growth companies, three of which went on to successful public offerings. Zachary has sat on the boards of Register.com (Nasdaq: RCOM) and GoAmerica (Nasdaq: GOAM), as well as several private companies over the years. From 1999 to 2003 Zachary served as Managing Director of Wellfleet Partners, a merchant investment bank in New York City. In early-2003, Zachary formed Little Bear Investments, combining the best attributes of an niche investment bank with the necessary capital to support a disciplined approach to investing directly into distressed situations.
