Golder Associates Ltd.

Dr. Dershowitz is the Technical Director of the FracMan Technology Group, and is a Principal of Golder Associates Inc.. He has been developing and applying discrete fracture data analysis, integration, and modeling approaches since 1977. Dr. Dershowitz delivered the keynote address on Environmental Applications of Discrete Fracture Methods at the European Rock Mechanics Symposium, EUROCK'96, and the keynote address on Petroleum Applications of Discrete Fracture Approaches at the 1994 North American Rock Mechanics Symposium. Dr. Dershowitz is active in the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM), is an editor of Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering, and served as a member of the ISRM commission of computer technology for rock mechanics. Dr. Dershowitz has been the principal investigator for the FracMan code since 1985, and has developed a geostatistical, fractal, and geological models for fractured and heterogeneous rocks. Dr. Dershowitz has completed more than 20 major discrete fracture modeling projects in the US, Asia, and Europe, and has published over 30 papers on discrete fracture flow research.

Ed Murphy has been a member of the NYSSPE since 2003. He is a Senior Project Chemical and Environmental Engineer with Golder Associates, an international environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, out of Niagara Falls, NY. Ed has been with Golder since 2000. As a licensed professional engineer in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, and Tennesee, he works primarly on large scale remediation projects and also does due diligence and compliance work for industry. Ed lives in Middleport, New York with his wife Kelly, son, and daughter.

Glori Lee is a senior programmer at Golder Associates since 1989. She is in charge of the development of new codes, derivation of the computational schemes and maintenance of the existing FracMan modules.

Jeff is an associate with Golder Associates and has close to 20 years experience in marketing, 15 within the professional services field. During his 15 years at Golder, Jeff headed up marketing and communications for the Canadian and Global operations. Jeff is also President of Golder Associates wholly owned advertising agency - ConsulAd Agencies Ltd. Using his B.A. in Economic and MBA in Public Relations and Communication Management, Jeff has developed and implemented various strategic marketing and communication initiatives both locally and internationally. In addition to developing and delivering Golder's in-house client development program, he is responsible for Golder key client development initiatives.

Libby is an experienced corporate lawyer, with a unique focus in waste management and environmental law. She is currently European Legal Counsel with Golder Associates, a global consultancy that specialises in ground engineering and environmental sciences, where she is responsible for advising the European operations on all legal matters affecting the business. Previously, she has been a leading member of Clarkslegal?s environmental law practice leading both government and private clients to create environmental compliance strategies, develop renewable energy projects, and implement regional waste management programmes.

Mr. Mark Adamson has a Bachelors degree in Geology from the University of Bristol, UK that included environmental geochemistry and engineering geology components. After a brief period of gold exploration in Western Australia his career focus has been on the assessment, remediation and development of contaminated sites. Mark has over ten years of experience in geo-environmental consulting and has worked on a range of projects from urban re-generation of "Brownfield" land to environmental clean up of remote pulp mills on the BC Coast. Mark has contributed to the academic community throughout his career serving as a local secretary to a Geological Society of London regional group, acting as an industrial mentor to third year environmental engineering students in Dublin and has authored technical papers on contaminated site remediation. He moved to Canada in March 2004 and is employed as a Senior Environmental Scientist with Golder Associates in Burnaby, BC.

Mark Musial, President, makes his living as a geotechnical engineer with the international consulting firm Golder Associates Inc. Specializing in cold regions infrastructure development and environmental remediation, he has worked throughout Alaska and northern Canada. Mark is also a parent with a son and daughter attending Steller Secondary School, and a daughter enrolled in the School of Alaska Dance Theatre. He earned BS and MS degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of California Berkeley, where he was exposed to many different styles of dance performance that sparked his love of the art form. Since coming to Alaska in 1981, Mark has been active in community and professional organizations, including terms as Chairman of the Municipality of Anchorage's Geotechnical Advisory Commission and the On-Site Systems Technical Review Board. He has also been an officer of the Government Hill Community Council, the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Technical Council for Cold Regions Engineering (TCCRE). This is Mark's second year on ADT's board. He was elected President in September.
