Mr. Sherwood has been a Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs since February 2008 and co-chief executive officer of Goldman Sachs International since 2005. Prior to becoming a Vice Chairman, he had served as global co-head of Goldman Sachsa securities business since 2003. Prior to that, he had been head of the Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities Division in Europe since 2001.

Mr. Cohn has been our President and Co-Chief Operating Officer and a director since June 2006. Previously, he had been the co-head of Goldman Sachs’ global securities businesses since January 2004. He also had been the co-head of Equities since 2003 and the co-head of FICC since September 2002. From March 2002 to September 2002, he served as co-chief operating officer of FICC. Prior to that, beginning in 1999, Mr. Cohn managed the FICC macro businesses. From 1996 to 1999, he was the global head of Goldman Sachs’ commodities business. Mr. Cohn is not on the board of any public company other than Goldman Sachs. He is affiliated with certain non-profit organizations, including as a member of the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association and as a trustee of the Gilmour Academy, the NYU Child Study Center, the NYU Hospital, the NYU Medical School, the Harlem Children’s Zone and American University.

Mr. Winkelried has been our President and Co-Chief Operating Officer and a director since June 2006. Previously, he had been the co-head of Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division since January 2005. From 2000 to 2005, he was co-head of FICC. From 1999 to 2000, he was head of FICC in Europe. From 1995 to 1999, he was responsible for Goldman Sachs’ leveraged finance business. Mr. Winkelried is not on the board of any public company other than Goldman Sachs. He is also a trustee of the University of Chicago.

Mr. Viniar has been an Executive Vice President of Goldman Sachs and our Chief Financial Officer since May 1999. He has been the head of Operations, Technology, Finance and Services Division since December 2002. He was head of the Finance Division and co-head of Credit Risk Management and Advisory and Firmwide Risk from December 2001 to December 2002. Mr. Viniar was co-head of Operations, Finance and Resources from March 1999 to December 2001. He was Chief Financial Officer of The Goldman Sachs Group, L.P. from March 1999 to May 1999. From July 1998 until March 1999, he was Deputy Chief Financial Officer and from 1994 until July 1998, he was head of Finance, with responsibility for Controllers and Treasury. From 1992 to 1994, he was head of Treasury and prior to that was in the Structured Finance Department of Investment Banking. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of Union College.

Jan is the chief US economist and is responsible for setting the firm's US economic and interest rate outlook. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1997 as an associate economist in the Frankfurt office and moved to New York in 1999. He became a managing director in 2004. Jan has published widely on monetary and fiscal policy, the Goldman Sachs Financial Conditions Index, the housing market, inflation, corporate profits, consumption, and capital spending. Jan is frequently quoted in the financial press, such as the Economist, the Financial Times, and the Wall Street Journal, and writes a regular column on the US economy for the German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Prior to joining the firm, Jan worked as a research fellow at the London School of Economics. Jan earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Oxford University in 1995. He also holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Kiel Institute of World Economics.

Mr. Cohen has been an Executive Vice President of Goldman Sachs and our Global Head of Compliance since February 2004. From 1991 until January 2004, he was a partner in the law firm of O'Melveny & Myers LLP.

Ms. Stecher has been an Executive Vice President of Goldman Sachs and our General Counsel and co-head of the Legal Department since December 2000. From 1994 to 2000, she was head of the firm's Tax Department, over which she continues to have senior oversight responsibility. She is also a trustee of Columbia University.

Mr. Palm has been an Executive Vice President of Goldman Sachs since May 1999, and our General Counsel and head or co-head of the Legal Department since May 1992.

Mr. Johnson, age 65, has been a Vice Chairman of Perseus, L.L.C., a merchant banking and private equity firm, since April 2001. From January 2000 to March 2001, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Johnson Capital Partners, a private investment company. From January through December 1999, he was Chairman of the Executive Committee of Fannie Mae, having previously served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from February 1991 through December 1998 and its Vice Chairman from 1990 through February 1991. Mr. Johnson is on the boards of the following public companies in addition to Goldman Sachs: Forestar Real Estate Group, Inc. and Target Corporation. In addition, he is affiliated with certain non-profit organizations, including as Chairman Emeritus of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, as a member of each of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Friends of Bilderberg, the Council on Foreign Relations and The Trilateral Commission, and as an honorary trustee of The Brookings Institution.

Mr. Bryan is the retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sara Lee Corporation. He served as its Chief Executive Officer from 1975 to June 2000 and as its Chairman of the Board from 1976 until his retirement in October 2001. Mr. Bryan has been a director of Goldman Sachs since November 1999. He is on the board of one public company in addition to Goldman Sachs: General Motors Corporation. Mr. Bryan is the past Chairman of the Grocery Manufacturers of America, Inc. and the past Vice Chairman and a current member of The Business Council. He also served as Co-Chairman of the World Economic Foruma s annual meetings in 1994, 1997 and 2000. In addition, Mr. Bryan is affiliated with certain non-profit organizations, including as a Life Trustee of The University of Chicago, as the past Chairman and Life Trustee of the Board of Trustees of The Art Institute of Chicago, as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Millennium Park, Inc., and as the past Chairman and a current member of The Chicago Council on Global Affairs; he is also the past Chairman of Catalyst.

Mr. Dahlbäck currently serves as a Senior Advisor to Investor AB, a Swedish-based investment company, and is also a Senior Advisor at Foundation Asset Management, which is owned by three Wallenberg Foundations and which acts as advisor to the Foundations with respect to their holdings. He previously served as Investor AB’s nonexecutive Chairman from April 2002 until April 2005, its Vice Chairman from April 1999 until April 2002 and its President and Chief Executive Officer from 1978 until April 1999. Mr. Dahlbäck has been a director of Goldman Sachs since June 2003 and is not on the board of any U.S. public company other than Goldman Sachs. He is affiliated with certain non-profit organizations, including as a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and of Naval Sciences, as Honorary Doctor and Director of the Stockholm School of Economics, as Chair of the Leader of the Year Award, as Chair of the Stockholm School of Economics Association and as Commander of the Order of the White Rose of Finland. He is also a recipient of the Swedish Kings medal of the Twelfth Dimension with the Seraphim ribbon.

Mr. Evans has been a Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs since February 2008 and chairman of Goldman Sachs Asia since 2004. Prior to becoming a Vice Chairman, he had served as global co-head of Goldman Sachs’ securities business since 2003. Previously, he had been co-head of the Equities Division since 2001. Mr. Evans is a board member of CASPER (Center for Advancement of Standards-based Physical Education Reform). He also serves as a trustee of the Bendheim Center for Finance at Princeton University.

Mr. Weinberg has been a Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs since June 2006. He has been co-head of Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division since December 2002. From January 2002 to December 2002, he was co-head of the Investment Banking Division in the Americas. Prior to that, he served as co-head of the Investment Banking Services Department since 1997. He is affiliated with certain non-profit organizations, including as a board member at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, The Steppingstone Foundation, the Greenwich Country Day School and Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America. Mr. Weinberg also serves on the Visiting Committee for Harvard Business School.

Lakshmi N Mittal, 58, is the Chairman and CEO of ArcelorMittal. Mr Mittal founded Mittal Steel Company (formerly the LNM Group) in 1976 and guided its strategic development, culminating in the merger with Arcelor, agreed in 2006, to found the world’s largest steelmaker. Since the merger, Mr Mittal has led a successful integration, establishing ArcelorMittal as one of the world’s foremost industrial companies. He is widely recognized for the leading role he has played in restructuring the steel industry towards a more consolidated and globalized model. Mr Mittal is an active philanthropist and a member of various trusts and boards, including Goldman Sachs’ Board of Directors, EADS Board of Directors and ICICI Bank Limited’s Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Foreign Investment Council in Kazakhstan, the International Investment Council in South Africa, the Investors’ Council to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the World Economic Forum’s International Business Council, the World Steel Association’s Executive Committee and the Presidential International Advisory Board of Mozambique. He also sits on the Advisory Board of the Kellogg School of Management in the United States. Mr Mittal began his career working in the family’s steelmaking business in India, and has over 30 years of experience working in steel and related industries. In addition to forcing the pace of industry consolidation, he has also championed the development of integrated mini-mills and the use of DRI as a scrap substitute for steelmaking. Following the transaction combining Ispat International and LNM Holdings to form Mittal Steel in December 2004, together with the simultaneous announcement of the acquisition of International Steel Group in the United States to form the world’s then-leading steel producer, Mr Mittal was awarded Fortune magazine’s ‘European Businessman of the Year 2004’. In 1996, Mr Mittal was awarded ‘Steelmaker of the Year’ by New Steel in the United States and the ‘Willy Korf Steel Vision Award’ by World Steel Dynamics in 1998 for outstanding vision, entrepreneurship, leadership and success in global steel development. Following the creation of ArcelorMittal, Mr Mittal was awarded ‘Business Person of 2006’ by the Sunday Times, ‘International Newsmaker of the Year 2006’ by Time Magazine and ‘Person of the Year 2006’ by the Financial Times for his outstanding business achievements. In January 2007, Mr Mittal was presented with a Fellowship from King’s College London, the college’s highest award. He also received the 2007 Dwight D Eisenhower Global Leadership Award, the Grand Cross of Civil Merit from Spain and was named AIST Steelmaker of the year. In January 2008, Mr Mittal was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second highest civilian honor, by the President of India. In September 2008, Mr Mittal was chosen for the third ‘Forbes Lifetime Achievement Award’, which honors heroes of entrepreneurial capitalism and free enterprise. Mr Mittal was born in Sadulpur in Rajasthan, India on June 15, 1950. He graduated from St Xavier’s College in Kolkata where he received a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Mr Mittal is married to Usha Mittal, and has a son, Aditya Mittal and a daughter, Vanisha Mittal Bhatia.

Ms. Juliber, age 60, was a Vice Chairman of the Colgate-Palmolive Company from July 2004 until March 2005. She served as Colgate-Palmolive s Chief Operating Officer from March 2000 to September 2004, as its Executive Vice President North America and Europe from 1997 until March 2000 and as President of Colgate North America from 1994 to 1997. Ms. Juliber is on the board of the following public companies in addition to Goldman Sachs: E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company and Kraft Foods Inc. She is affiliated with certain non-profit organizations, including as Chairman of The MasterCard Foundation, and a trustee of Wellesley College and Women s World Banking.

Rajat Kumar Gupta is the Senior Partner Emeritus of McKinsey & Company. He joined the Firm's New York Office in 1973, assumed leadership of its Scandinavian Offices in 1981, and Chicago Office in 1989. Mr. Gupta served as the Managing Director Worldwide of McKinsey from 1994 to 2003. In his 34 year career in consulting, Mr. Gupta has served many leading companies on a broad set of topics related to strategy, organization and operations. He has played a thought leadership role in organizational thinking throughout his career, and led the Organization Practice for the Firm. Mr. Gupta is very active in many non-profit institutions focused on education, health and development. He served as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advisor on UN Reform, is an independent Director of Goldman Sachs, Procter & Gamble, AMR Corporation, Qatar Financial Centre, and is the Chairman of the Board of Genpact and New Silk Route Private Equity. He is also on the Board of Rockefeller Foundation and recently elected a Member of the Supervisory Board of Sberbank. Steve is a Managing Partner of Eos. Prior to co-founding Eos in 1994, he was a General Partner at Odyssey Partners L.P., which he joined in 1983. Steve and Mr. Young were the partners responsible for Odyssey's private equity business. Before joining Odyssey, Steve was a vice president at Citibank, N.A. in leveraged finance. Steve has an A.B. and M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
