Robert Shen brings 25 years of experience in the electronics industry to Array Networks, 15 of which in executive roles. Mr. Tsai, Managing Director of H&Q Asia Pacific, is responsible for real estate and hospitality investments in China. Mr. Tsai has over 30 years of hotel development and management experience, and currently owns two successful Hilton Garden Inns, one Crowne Plaza Hotel, one Best Western, and a 350-room, five-star resort hotel under development. Mr. Tsai has been serving as Western Region Chair for Inter-Continental Hotel Group for six years and was awarded Developer of the Year for Hilton Hotel Corporation in 2002. William J. Perry currently serves as the Michael and Barbara Berberian Professor at Stanford University, with a joint appointment in the School of Engineering and the Institute for International Studies. He is also a senior fellow at the Hoover Institute and co-director of the Preventive Defense Project, a research collaboration of Stanford and Harvard Universities. Dr. Perry was the 19th Secretary of Defense under President Clinton, serving from February 1994 to January 1997. As Secretary of Defense, he was instrumental in implementing and strengthening the Nunn-Lugar Cooperative Threat Reduction Program. He also served as Deputy Secretary of Defense (1993-1994) and Under Deputy Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering. Dr. Perry has extensive business experience and currently serves on the boards of several high-tech companies and is chairman of Global Technology Partners. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Perry has received numerous awards and decorations from U.S. and foreign governments, non-governmental organizations and the military, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1997.
