For for more 30 years, Mackin has captured his memories on canvas of exotic trips to the Caribbean, the Bahamas, the South Pacific, Asia and the rainforests of South America. Mackin began sketching and painting tropical islands and marine life in 1971 when his camera fell overboard during a sailboat trip. Having just returned from Vietnam, Mackin and a friend took off from Newport Beach, Calif., and headed south. They ended up in Central America. "We bought this 24-foot sailboat together and left with $235 between us," says Mackin. "We had a bunch of food but no engine, no life raft, no radio and no navigation lights. We did it by the seat of our pants." At the sketching table in his studio. Dan's pet parrot Willy and he overlook his next idea. Mackin kept a journal of the day's events and recorded what they saw with his illustrations. Having also been a tour guide along the Amazon River, Dan became well acquainted with the fauna and flora of the tropical rainforest. All of these experiences, along with his love for diving, sailing and surfing, have fueled his personal commitment---to capture the peace, tranquility and color of the tropics and give the viewer the feeling that you are "actually there". Throughout the 70's and 80's, Mackin supported himself with a variety of mini-careers after earning his Master's in education, all the while honing his skills as an artist. In 1992 he began devoting his full attention to painting and since then has commanded $4,000 to $18,000 per original, as well as releasing limited editions, lithographs, posters and giclee print editions. An award winning artist, Dan Mackin has done commissions for many corporations and individuals. They include The International Herald Tribune, the Ron Jon/National Kidney Foundation Pro-Am Surfing Festival, and the Quicksilver Wiamea Bay Contest poster. The Cleveland Clinic, The Sheraton Waikiki, The Maui Convention Center, The South Miami Chamber of Commerce and the Sandals Resort in Antiga. He also designed the label for Shoal Draft, a microbrew made by the Indian River Brewing Company and many of his images appear on greeting cards, jewelry, stationery, magazine covers and calenders.

Ervin is a professional artist born and raised in Ontario, Canada. They say some were born with a silver spoon; Ervin Molnar was born with a brush in hand. Even at the young age of 12, teachers would tell him his perspective of utilizing colors to create images was way beyond his years. His father Paul Molnar, also an accomplished artist, has been an inspiration, providing encouragement and support early on in life. Paul helped mould his young son's talent at the age of six creating their first composition together. Countless articles have featured Ervin's talent and accomplishments, including a CBC interview about Ervin's wildlife painting and success in the field with his works of art. This accomplished artist had produced art for Ducks Unlimited. Ervin has gained notable recognition as a professional artist. He has a love for animals and a passion for the outdoors that forms his genre of art. Ervin enjoys creating different kinds of art. He loves to dabble with different mediums and styles including figurative, landscapes and still-life art pieces. He paints for an inner need not for fame or glory, utilizing several mediums of paint in each composition in order for him to achieve desired results.
