Haemonetics Corp.

Brad Nutter was appointed Chairman of the Board in January 2008. He has been a Board Member as well as President and Chief Executive Officer of Haemonetics since April 2003. Previously, Mr. Nutter was President and Chief Executive Officer of Gambro Healthcare, a $1.3 billion international dialysis provider business.

Brian Concannon was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer, and elected to Haemonetics’ Board of Directors in April 2009. Mr. Concannon joined Haemonetics in 2003 as President, Patient Division and held positions of increased responsibility prior to assuming his current role.

Gary is the Senior Vice President, Research and Development and Technology Assessment at Haemonetics Corporation. He received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University. Gary has 25 years of Research and Development Management experience. Gary has hands-on experience leading complex product development projects. He has numerous patents that range from the development of Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps at Avco Medical Products to the development of automated blood processing systems and related disposables at Haemonetics. Gary is cofounder of the Belmont Instrument Corp. and serves on the Board of The Center for Blood Research.

Donald Barry, Sr. is Executive Vice President and head of Electrical/Software Engineering. He has over 20 years of experience designing products for companies such as Ortho Diagnostics J&J , Haemonetics, Hologic, and Zymequest. He has successfully designed, developed, patented, and gained regulatory approval for many medical devices including in-vitro diagnostics and in-vivo patient connected instruments.

Mr. Koshgarian proposes and manages investments within the Target Sectors of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Oncology and Urology. Mr. Koshgarian has over ten years of experience in the medical device industry in various senior-level R&D and Manufacturing roles at Haemonetics Corporation, CytoLogix Corporation and ViaCell, Inc. He was most recently the Vice President of Operations at ViaCell. Bob received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Brown University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Ronald L. Merriman has been our director since July 2005. He is the managing director of Merriman Partners, a management advisory firm (2003 - present). Prior to founding Merriman Partners, Mr. Merriman served as a managing director of O'Melveny & Myers law firm (2000 - 2003), executive vice president of Carlson Wagonlit Travel (1999 - 2000), president of Ambassador Performance Group, Inc., (1997 - 1999) and was employed by the accounting firm of KPMG (1967 - 1997). At KPMG, Mr. Merriman served as vice chairman of the Management Committee. Mr. Merriman also serves on the board of directors and is the Audit Committee chairman of Aircastle Limited (NYSE: AYR), Pentair, Inc. (NYSE: PNR) and Haemonetics Corporation (NYSE: HAE). Mr. Merriman is chairman of our Audit Committee, and is a member of our Nominating/Corporate Governance and Strategic Planning Committees.

Lawrence Best has been a Board Member since 2003. Mr. Best recently retired as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Boston Scientific. Previously, he was a partner in the accounting firm of Ernst & Young. He has served as a fellow at the Securities and Exchange Commission and as a White House-appointed Presidential Exchange Executive. (Audit Committee Member)

Mark is the former Chief Technology Officer of St. Jude Medical, Inc. (NYSE: STJ), and the most prolific inventor of electrical medical devices in the world with more than 260 U.S. Patents. Every Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator sold has at least one patent attributed to Dr. Kroll. He most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for the Cardiac Rhythm Management division of St. Jude Medical Inc. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of the Tachycardia Business division and in various senior executive roles within St. Jude from 1995 through his retirement in 2005. Previously, he served as Vice President of Research for the Angemed division of Angeion, Inc., where he was instrumental in the development of the technology which led to the first ICD smaller than 90 ml in volume. In addition, he is co-author of the books 'Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator Therapy' (1996), and "Cardiac Bioelectric Therapy" (in press) among more than 150 other papers, invited presentations, book chapters and abstracts.

Mr. Granadillo was employed by Eli Lilly and Company (pharmaceuticals) from 1970 until 2004. From 1998 to 2004, he served as Eli Lilly’s Senior Vice President overseeing manufacturing, quality and human resources and from 1993 to 1998, he served as Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Granadillo serves on the board of directors of Nile Therapeutics, Inc. (biopharmaceuticals) and Haemonetics Corporation (medical devices).

As Chairman of the Sarasota Family YMCA, Ronald G. Gelbman brings international business acumen to our organization. Mr. Gelbman is a former member of the Executive Committee of Johnson & Johnson. He began his career with Johnson & Johnson in 1972 in sales and marketing and worked his way up to the Executive Committee in 1994. He was Worldwide Chairman of the Pharmaceuticals and Diagnostics Group.
