Mr. Lamel was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer on October 1, 2001, and has served as Corporate Secretary since January 2003. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Lamel, a certified public accountant, was a partner at Ernst & Young LLP where he served in various capacities from June 1973 to September 2001. Ernst & Young LLP serves as our registered independent accountants, and Mr. Lamel was responsible for all services provided to us, including the audits of our financial statements, from fiscal 1994 through fiscal 2000. Mr. Lamel serves as a director of Excel Technology, Inc. and Harvey Electronics, Inc.

Mr. Lamel has been a director of the Company since April 2004. He has been Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Hain Celestial Group since October 2001, and he has served as Corporate Secretary since January 2003. From June 1973 to September 2001, Mr. Lamel, a certified public accountant, was at Ernst & Young LLP where he served in various capacities including partner. Ernst & Young LLP served as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm for the year ended December 31, 2000, and Mr. Lamel directed the Company's audit that year. In addition, Mr. Lamel currently serves as director of Harvey Electronics, Inc., a publicly held company engaged in the retail sale, service and custom installation of audio, video and home theater equipment.

Cecilia Atkinson grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia and began drinking tea at the age of three. Tea has been her primary drink of choice ever since. Prior to joining Celestial Seasonings, Cecilia held marketing positions at Johnson & Johnson and Nabisco, as well as key management positions with Warner Lambert. While at Warner Lambert, she worked on brands such Sinutab, Listerine, Trident and Dentyne. Cecilia's love for tea is so renowned that friends were not surprised when she joined Celestial Seasonings as Senior Director of Marketing in 1995. She later worked for Horizon Organic Dairy in 1998, helping to create their marketing department and taking them through their IPO in 1999. Subsequently, Cecilia assumed the position of Vice President of Marketing at KBkids.com, a leading internet retailer of children's toys. Cecilia returned to the Hain Celestial Group in September 2000 as Vice President of Marketing and in February 2005, was named General Manager of Celestial Seasonings. With a favorite tea list that includes True Blueberry, Madagascar Vanilla Red, Devonshire English Breakfast, Lemon Zinger , Honey Vanilla Chamomile, Sleepytime and Cinnamon Apple Spice, and a love of tea that runs in the family, one of Cecilia's favorite pastimes is catching up with her mom and sisters over a cup of tea.

Mr. Alperin is a business consultant who retired from Hasbro Inc. in 1996 after 11 years in various senior executive positions, including Vice Chairman and Director. Mr. Alperin is currently on the board of Henry Schein, Inc., K'NEX Industries, Inc. and The Hain Celestial Group Inc. Mr. Alperin practiced securities law in New York City from 1966 to 1985, finishing his legal career with the law firm of Fenwick & West, where he was a managing partner. Mr. Alperin is Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Beth L. Bronner has been a director since November 1993, and is the chairperson of our Compensation Committee. Ms. Bronner is currently a Managing Director of Mistral Equity Partners. Ms. Bronner served as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Jim Beam Brands Worldwide, Inc., from September 2003 to July 2006. From May 2001 to September 2003, Ms. Bronner served as a private consultant and president of a private realty company. Ms. Bronner also serves as a director of Assurant, Inc. (formerly Fortis, Inc.).

Daniel Robert Glickman (born November 24, 1944) is an American Politician. He served in the United States House of Representatives as a Democrat for 18 years, and is currently the president of the Motion Picture Association of America. Glickman was born in Wichita, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University and graduated from University of Michigan and got his JD from George Washington University in 1969. In 1969 and 1970, Glickman served on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In 1976, he ran for Congress as a Democrat from Kansas. In his last term, he was the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. He was defeated for reelection, by Todd Tiahrt, in the 1994 congressional elections, one of numerous Democrats to lose their seats. Following his defeat, he was appointed by President Bill Clinton to be the Secretary of Agriculture, where he served from 1995 to 2001. After Clinton's term ended, Glickman became the director of the Institute of Politics at Harvard University. In 2004, the Motion Picture Association of America announced that Glickman would replace Jack Valenti as its chief lobbyist.

Jack Futterman has been a director since December 1996, and is the chairperson of our Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee. Mr. Futterman served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Party City Stores, Inc. from June 1999 through December 1999. Mr. Futterman retired as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pathmark Stores, Inc. in March 1996. He joined Pathmark in 1973 as Vice President of its drugstore and general merchandise divisions and occupied a number of positions before becoming Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Futterman is a registered pharmacist and former Chairman of the National Association of Chain Drugstores.
