Charles Harper is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives for Halifax. Prior to co-founding Halifax, Mr. Rogers was one of the founding limited partners of Colony Investors I, L.P. and currently is a principal of Colony Capital. Prior to Colony, Mr. Rogers invested his personal capital in a number of successful real estate restructuring and leveraged corporate acquisitions. From 1983 to 1988 Mr. Rogers was, along with David Bonderman and Tom Barrack, the initial "investment team" for the Robert M. Bass Group. Peter McLellan, Q.C., is a partner with McInnes Cooper in Halifax. Peter has practiced for more than 25 years and is a member of the Bars of both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. With a focus on labour and employment law, and particularly on employment benefits, Peter represents many non-union employers. He frequently appears before the Nova Scotia and Canada Labour Relations Boards and the Labour Standards Tribunal on matters relating to unions. A member of Aliron's Board of Advisors, Toups has long been a leader in engineering and management operations for both private companies and public agencies. In December 1984, Mr. Hewitt founded Federal Sources, Inc. (FSI) as a market research and consulting firm focused on IT in federal and state government. The firm provides clients with market research, trend analysis, tracking of major government programs, opportunity identification, and training to assist clients with market expansion.
