Mr.Sciacca has served as Chief Financial Officer and vice president, finance of Halifax since December 1999. He is responsible for the management and compliance of the company's corporate accounting, financial reporting, strategic planning, tax and investor relations functions. From September 1996 through September 1998, Mr. Sciacca served as the vice president, finance, and chief financial officer of On-Site Sourcing, Inc. a legal document management services firm. From 1994 through 1996, Mr. Sciacca was a principal in a tax and consulting firm. He has a B.S. in accounting from Georgetown University, a masters degree in taxation from American University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Charles Harper is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives for Halifax. Charlie joined the company in October, 2004 through the acquisition of AlphaNational Technology Services where he served as Senior Vice President, Business Development from 1997 until joining Halifax. Prior to AlphaNational he was with IBM where he spent over 30 years in various service related positions. After several executive field management positions he was Director of Complementary Product Service where he launched and managed IBM’s multi-vendor services business for 10 years. Prior to his retirement from IBM he managed IBM’s alliance and acquisition efforts for Availability Services for North America. Charlie received a BA in economics from North Carolina State University in 1972 and a Masters in Business from Columbia University in 1986. He received a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University in 1996.

Doug Reece is responsible for Halifax’s sales, marketing and business development efforts targeted at the commercial and public sector marketplace. Doug joined Halifax in November 2001 and brings over 15 years of sales experience in information technology services. Prior to joining Halifax, Doug worked for Veritas Software and Ernst & Young Consulting where he held various services sales and operations positions. Doug holds a BA degree in political science from West Virginia University and an MA in International Transactions from George Mason University.

As Vice President of Operations for Halifax beginning in April 2002, Mr. Foley is responsible for all aspects related to the development and delivery of services and support to over 1,000 Enterprise Maintenance clients. Mr. Foley joined Halifax in November 1998, initially to manage and implement the Virginia Department of Transportation / Virginia Retirement Systems seat management contract. Prior to joining Halifax, Mr. Foley spent 16 years in the computer service industry in various sales, operations and financial management positions with Sorbus, Bell Atlantic Business Systems, and DecisionOne. In addition, Mr. Foley has held key management positions with value added reseller organizations such as Emtec, Inc., MicroAge, Pride Technologies and Computerware. Hugh has a Masters in Business Administration from Drexel University and is a graduate of Villanova University with a BS in Business Administration, with a major in accounting.

Peter McLellan, Q.C., is a partner with McInnes Cooper in Halifax. Peter has practiced for more than 25 years and is a member of the Bars of both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. With a focus on labour and employment law, and particularly on employment benefits, Peter represents many non-union employers. He frequently appears before the Nova Scotia and Canada Labour Relations Boards and the Labour Standards Tribunal on matters relating to unions. As an advocate in the courts, Peter has represented clients before the Supreme Court of Canada on a variety of labour matters including dealing with the rights of employers in union organizing campaigns and during collective bargaining. He has extensive experience in negotiating and interpreting collective agreements, strategizing on labour applications (such as recognizing "successor rights") and human rights issues; drafting policies and procedures; advising on workplace manuals, pay and employment equity issues, and representing clients in arbitration proceedings. Additionally, Peter has developed an extensive administrative law practice dealing with issues of pensions, employment law and related disciplines.

Deborah Hashey is Halifax 2014's Director of Communications and Partner Relations, responsible for building public understanding and support of Canada's bid for the 2014 Games and the many legacies that will benefit our communities for years to come. Hashey's most recent position was Vice-President, Public Affairs at Colour (formerly CCL), one of the region's largest marketing and communications agencies. As a senior consultant, she has spent 12 of the past 15 years providing strategic communications counsel and services to organizations such as Home Depot Canada, Oland Brewery, Sobeys Inc., Aliant, High Liner Foods, Parks Canada, Exxon Mobil, Air Canada Jazz and EMC Emergency Medical Care. A graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University's Public Relations Degree program, Hashey is also very active in the community and currently serves on the board of directors of HomeBridge Youth Society. She counts her involvement in the staging of the 2005 Concert for Asia, which raised more than $200,000 for tsunami victims in Sri Lanka, as one of her greatest accomplishments.

In December 1984, Mr. Hewitt founded Federal Sources, Inc. (FSI) as a market research and consulting firm focused on IT in federal and state government. The firm provides clients with market research, trend analysis, tracking of major government programs, opportunity identification, and training to assist clients with market expansion. In 1998, Mr. Hewitt sold FSI to Primedia Information, Inc. Prior to FSI, Mr. Hewitt was a Senior Vice President of Kentron, which was acquired by PRC. Before that, he held senior level positions at CSC, including President of the INFONET Government Systems Division and Vice President of Program Development of the Systems Group. Prior to that, Mr. Hewitt was with Boeing Computer Services for six years, where he started and subsequently managed its Federal government marketing operations. Mr. Hewitt received his Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from North Carolina State University and his Masters of Business Administration from Long Island University. Mr. Hewitt served on Virginia's First Commission on Information Technology appointed by former Virginia Governor James S. Gilmore. He is a member of the following Boards of Directors: GTSI [GTSI], Halifax [HX], Sigaba and INPUT. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of Fortress Technologies, DSA, Sigma Federal and Information Technology Association of America (ITAA).
