Thomas J. Tarlow joined Hana in January 2009 and is responsible for the development and implementation of regulatory strategies and quality systems as well as managing all U.S. and foreign regulatory filings for the Company's pipeline of dose-intensifying and compliance-enhancing oncology product candidates. Prior to joining Hana, Mr. Tarlow served as Vice President, Regulatory Affairs and Document Archives for Tercica, Inc., where he directed, planned, and implemented global regulatory activities, and led the development and implementation of quality systems used to achieve compliance with regulatory requirements. Previously, he held various senior positions at Amgen, Inc., SUGEN, Inc. and ALZA Corporation. While at ALZA, Mr. Tarlow managed regulatory support for its liposomal formulation technology platforms and achieved U.S. FDA priority approval of DOXIL for treatment of advanced ovarian cancer. Mr. Tarlow received his MS in Comparative Pathology from University of California, Davis, and AB in Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz.

Lyn Wiesinger became a director at Hana in March 2007. Ms. Wiesinger is currently the principal of Strategic Decisions, a pharmaceutical consulting company. Ms. Wiesinger has more than 20 years of pharmaceutical operating experience in both global and US marketing, new product development, business acquisitions and licensing. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Market Development at Vicuron Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology company in the specialty hospital market, where she initiated and led the company's commercial function. She subsequently played an integral role in Vicuron's sale to Pfizer Inc. in September 2005. Prior to joining Vicuron, Ms. Wiesinger held senior positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb including Vice President, US Cardiovascular Marketing, where she lead the pre-launch program and marketing team for Vanlev, a novel antihypertensive and CHF treatment and Vice President, Global Marketing, Infectious Diseases , where she was responsible for managing the company's worldwide portfolio of antibiotics, antivirals and antifungals. Ms. Wiesinger established her early career in pharmaceuticals with an extensive tenure at Pfizer Inc., during which she held a broad range of management positions in new product development and marketing, marked by her leadership of the successful worldwide development and launch of Diflucan. Ms Wiesinger began her career as a consultant at Booz Allen and Hamilton. She holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School and a BA degree in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Foundation of Infectious Diseases, the Advisory Board of the Philadelphia University of the Sciences and a Director of the Wellness Community of Philadelphia.

Dr. Rosowsky received his PhD degree in chemistry from the University of Rochester in 1962. After postodoctoral research in the Department of Chemistry at Harvard University under the direction of Dr. E.J. Corey, he joined the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Dr. Rosowsky is Associate Professor of Biological Chemistry and Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School. In 1987 he was appointed Associate Professor in the Division of Cancer Pharmacology, now part of the Department of Medical Oncology. He heads a group whose primary goal is the design of novel antifolates as anticancer and antiparasitic drugs.

Leon E. Rosenberg, M.D., a director of Hana since February 2004, has been a Professor in the Princeton University Department of Molecular Biology and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Public Affairs since 1997. Since 1999, he has also been Professor Adjunct of Genetics at Yale University School of Medicine. From 1997 to 1998, Dr. Rosenberg served as Senior Vice President, Scientific Affairs of Bristol Myers Squibb Company, and from 1991 to 1997, Dr. Rosenberg served as President of the Bristol Myers Squibb Pharmaceutical Research Institute, where he was responsible for the company's worldwide pharmaceutical research and development. Prior to Bristol Myers Squibb, Dr. Rosenberg was Dean of the Yale University School of Medicine from 1984 to 1991. Dr. Rosenberg also serves on the Boards of Directors of Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (since 1997), Karo Bio AB (since 2000), and Medicines for Malaria Venture (since 2000).

Bruce D. Cheson, M.D., FACP, FAAS Scientific Advisory Board Member. Dr. Cheson attended the University of Virginia and then Tufts University Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia Hospitals and then a clinical and research fellowship in Hematology at New England Medical Center Hospital. From 1977-1984 he was Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Utah. From 1986-2002, he was Head, Medicine Section, CTEP at the National Cancer Institute. Since 2002, Dr. Cheson has been Professor of Medicine, Head of Hematology and Director of Hematology Research at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Cheson has authored over 300 medical publications and abstracts and has contributed to over 50 texts. He is on the editorial board of numerous journals and is Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Oncology, and Oncology News international. He is an Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Lymphoma and Myeloma and Clinical Advances in Hematology and Oncology. He has also been the editor of the American College of Physician's Medical Knowledge Assessment Program in Oncology and the ASCO SEP. He has served on several committees of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and was on its Board of Directors, and edited ASCO News and ASCO Daily News. From 2002-2006, he was on the Oncologic Drug Advisory Committee to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He currently chairs the Lymphoma Committee of the Cancer and Leukemia Group B, and is co-chair of the International Harmonization Project in Lymphoma and the AJCC Subcommittee on Lymphoma. He is on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Lymphoma Research Foundation and is its President-Elect. Dr. Cheson's clinical interests focus on the development and evaluation of new therapeutic approaches for hematologic malignancies.
Hagop M. Kantarjian, M.D. Scientific Advisory Board Member. Dr. Kantarjian is Professor and Chairman of University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. He received his M.D. in 1979 from American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon and completed his internship and residency at University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon in 1980. In addition, he received his Internal Medicine Degree in 1981 from American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon and his Medical Oncology Subspecialty Degree in 1983 from Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas. He has authored more than 700 peer-reviewed publications and 90 book chapters. Linda E. Wiesinger , a director of Hana since February 2007, is currently the principal of Strategic Decisions, a pharmaceutical consulting company. From November 2003 to September 2005, Ms. Wiesinger was Senior Vice President, Marketing and Market Development at Vicuron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a publicly held biopharmaceutical company that was acquired by Pfizer Inc. in September 2005. From May 2002 to February 2003, Ms. Wiesinger was Senior Vice President, U.S. Marketing of IMS Health Incorporated, a publicly-held company that provides market data to the pharmaceutical industry. Ms. Wiesinger has also held management positions with Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, from 1996 to 2000, and Armour Pharmaceutical Company, a subsidiary of Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, from 1992-1995. Thomas Lynch, Jr., M.D. Scientific Advisory Board Member. Dr. Lynch is an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and director of the Oncology Service Line at Dana-Farber Partners CancerCare. He received his M.D. in 1986 from Yale University and completed his internship and residency at MGH in 1989. Dr. Lynch served as a fellow in medical oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 1989-1991 and joined the Kenneth B. Schwartz Center in 1996, becoming Medical Director in 2000. In 2002 he assumed responsibility for the direction of the Oncology Service Line at Partners Healthcare.
