Douglas W. Fink is a Partner in the firm's Mobile office. He is a member of the firm's Life, Health and Disability, Admiralty, Product Liability, Insurance, and Personal Injury Groups. His litigation practice and experience encompasses these and a wide variety of other litigation areas, including commercial litigation, premises liability, underground storage tank liability, and professional liability. Mr. Fink has tried jury and non-jury cases in both State and Federal Court and has tried cases in arbitration. He has represented a wide range of clients, including insurance companies, insurance brokers, pharmacists, pharmacies, manufacturers, oil companies, shipyards and airlines. Mr. Fink is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Drug and Medical Device and Professional Liability Committees of the Defense Research Institute. He is a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyer's Association and serves on its editorial board. He is also a member of the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute and has been elected as a Port Director.
R. Preston Bolt, Jr. serves as the Managing Partner for the firm. He practices in the fields of public finance, securities, and commercial and lending transactions. He was born in Anniston, Alabama, practiced in Georgia from 1979 until 1982, and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1983. He graduated from The University of Alabama, B.A. 1976, and from Vanderbilt University School of Law, J.D. 1979. Preston was selected for membership in Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa, Jasons, and was the recipient of the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award. At Vanderbilt Law School, he was a Patrick Wilson Scholar and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He served on the staff of the Vanderbilt Law Review, 1977-1979. Preston is a member of the Mobile County Bar Association, the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and the Advisory Board for Bellingrath Gardens and Home. He is listed in the Best Lawyers in America for Public Finance Law.

Alec Moseley has concentrated for over 25 years in civil litigation, focusing on construction law and complex business disputes. He chairs the firm?s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and Construction and Public Contracts Practice Team and serves as counsel to participants in all aspects of the construction and design industries, including owners and developers, general contractors, specialty contractors, and design professionals. Mr. Moseley is active in litigating construction disputes, in pursuing them through other channels such as arbitration and administrative appeals of government contract claims, and in negotiation and drafting of construction contracts, design agreements, and other project arrangements. He is a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers.

James M. Tingle's primary areas of practice are real estate, litigation, probate, and estate planning. His experience includes service as a municipal judge for many years, and, currently, as City attorney for Tarrant, Alabama. He was born in Trussville, Alabama in 1931 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1959, Alabama, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and U. S. Tax Court. Mr. Tingle graduated from Birmingham Law School in 1959 and attended The University of Alabama and Samford University. He has served as the Jefferson County Conservator since 1977, and has been a frequent lecturer on real estate, eminent domain, conservatorship, and estate matters. He served as Special Assistant Attorney General of the State of Alabama from 1963 to 1985. Mr. Tingle is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar.

Chris Gill practices primarily in the fields of real estate acquisition, development and financing. He also has significant experience in the formation of business organizations. In his practice, Chris has represented the Firm?s clients in numerous real estate acquisition and conveyance transactions involving undeveloped land, apartment complexes, hotels, shopping centers and restaurants. A significant amount of his work is in the development of condominium projects, which work involves drafting state and federal disclosure documents, forming condominiums, and representing condominium owners? associations. Chris has represented the Firm?s clients on numerous condominium projects located in Alabama as well as projects located in the states of Florida, South Carolina, Mississippi, Kansas and Illinois. In addition to these activities, Chris has extensive experience in representing both borrowers and lenders in commercial loan transactions. Chris is a member of the Mobile County Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar and is also active in community affairs, including service as a member of the board of directors of the Mobile Medical Museum.
Douglas L. McCoy practices primarily in the area of commercial litigation, including intellectual property and non-compete disputes, financing fraud litigation, contract dispute litigation, patent litigation, securities and litigation, corporate control litigation, commercial fraud and tort litigation, as well as in the areas of class action litigation and estate litigation. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1982. Doug graduated from Duke University School of Law in 1982 and from the University of Tennessee, B.S., magna cum laude, in 1979. Doug is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, as well as before the United States Circuit Courts of Appeal for the Second, Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama. Doug has argued cases before the United States Circuit Courts of Appeal for the Second, Fifth and Eleventh Circuits and before the Alabama Supreme Court. He has handled cases for clients in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi and in the Circuit Courts of several Mississippi counties, in addition to the courts of each of the federal districts in Alabama and a significant number of the state Circuit Courts of Alabama. Doug has lectured and written on numerous topics including non-competition and trade secret litigation, class action litigation and various damages issues including the defense of claims for punitive damages. He is Co-Chair of the Business Torts Litigation Committee of the ABA Section of Litigation and the immediate past president of the American Counsel Association. Doug is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, the Alabama Bar Association, and the Mobile Bar Association, having served on numerous committees of that organization during the tenure of his membership.

Harold Parkman practices primarily in the fields of commercial real estate development and financing, representing developers, investors and financial institutions. During his 39 years of practice he has assisted his clients in developing and financing commercial real estate developments throughout the Southeast, with emphasis on regional and urban retail shopping centers, including land acquisition, urban planning, and commercial leasing and financing negotiation. Mr. Parkman is a member of the Mobile County Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar (former Chairman, Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section), and is chairman of the firm's real estate practice group. He is admitted to practice before the bar of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. In 1994 he was elected to membership in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and is recognized in the field of real estate law in The Best Lawyers in America. He is admitted to all state, federal, and bankruptcy courts in Alabama, as well as the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Henry's practice focuses on the defense of consumer fraud and lender liability cases, both in individual cases and in class actions. These cases have involved consumer finance, insurance fraud, cellular telephone charges and bankruptcy charges and procedures. Henry is also the chairman of the firm's bankruptcy practice group and spends a significant amount of his time representing creditors in all three bankruptcy courts in Alabama. Henry's bar activities reflect his interest in providing access to the legal system for low-income citizens. He is currently serving his second term as president of the Mobile Bar Association's Volunteer Lawyers Program and was the first recipient of the local bar's Volunteer Lawyer of the Year Award in 2001. He was appointed by the Alabama Supreme Court to the state?s Access to Justice Commission and serves as treasurer of Legal Services Alabama. Outside the field of law, Henry has served as a scout leader for many years in a variety of positions and is currently scoutmaster for a troop of special needs youth. Henry is also vice-president of Loaves and Fish, which operates a multi-service center for the homeless in downtown Mobile, and senior warden of All Saints Episcopal Church.

Henry T. Morrissette is a member in the firm?s litigation section. He is Chairman of the firm's Personal Injury, Insurance and Employment Practice Group. He represents defendants in life, health & disability insurance cases, fraud and bad faith cases, product liability, and class action cases. Henry represents both plaintiffs and defendants in business disputes in state and federal court. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for insurance law. Henry has been very active in civil defense trial lawyer organizations. He served as President of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (ADLA) in 2001. Prior to his Presidency, he served as secretary-treasurer, and as a director of ADLA. Henry served as Alabama State Representative (2002-2005) to the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and is active on the Life, Health & Disability Committee of the DRI. He is also a member of the International Association of Defense Council. While in law school at the University of Alabama, Henry served on the editorial board of the Alabama Law Review and was a member of the law school?s Trial Advocacy Competition Team. Lyman F. Holland, Jr.'s practice includes wills, trusts, probate administration of trusts and estates, corporate, estate planning and real estate law. He was born in Mobile, Alabama and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1957. Lyman graduated from The University of Alabama in 1953 and from The University of Alabama School of Law in 1957. He was a member of the Board of Editors of the Alabama Law Review. Mr. Holland is a member of the Mobile County Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar (Chairman, Corporation, Partnership and Business Law Section, 1978-1980), and the American Bar Association. He is active in the Estate Planning Council of Mobile, and served as President in 1994-1995. Michael Niemeyer has practiced in Alabama since 1990 and will continue to represent national, state, and local clients in state and federal courts throughout Alabama. He is a lifelong resident of Baldwin County and enhances the firm's litigation and business practice in that jurisdiction. Mr. Niemeyer specializes in the representation of business, professional, insurance, retail and individual clients in civil litigation, and he has successfully represented these clients in numerous jury trials in both state and federal courts in Alabama. Mr. Niemeyer has also successfully defended and prosecuted appeals of these cases in Alabama and federal appellate courts.
