He is a recognized technology industry leader whose career spans three decades across various executive functions from operations and strategic planning to finance within the storage and computer industry segments. Mercer is currently the chairman of the board at Adaptec, Inc. having served as its interim CEO in 2005. As chief financial officer, Andy is responsible for finance and accounting, investor relations, corporate development and information technology at Palm. Before joining Palm in December 2004, Andy was the chief financial officer at Pillar Data Systems, a development stage startup, and prior to that he was at Legato Systems, Inc., where he was part of a new management team that rebuilt the company. Prior to joining Palm, from February 1997 to April 2006, Mr. Rubinstein was a Senior Vice President at Apple, Inc., a provider of personal computing devices and related software and peripherals, and served most recently as the General Manager of the iPod Division. Mr. Rubinstein earned a B.S. and an M.Eng in electrical engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. in computer science from Colorado State University. Jeff applies his significant expertise in strategic brand design and management to Palm's global advertising, marketing communications, PR, events and web design. Jeff has more than 20 years of experience collaborating with some of the world's most beloved brands. In 1996, he founded and was principal of the San Francisco office of Factor Design, a European-based strategic design consultancy. At Factor Design, Jeff delivered award-winning work for organizations such as Apple, Coca-Cola, Gap, GE, Hewlett-Packard, L.L. Bean, Nike and the Walt Disney Company. In 2003, he was one of a few senior design professionals invited to work with top faculty at Harvard Business School in the first-ever AIGA Business Perspectives for Design Leaders Program. In 2007, Jeff was nominated for a National Design Award by the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, Smithsonian Institution. He's also received numerous national and international awards from the Type Directors Club, AIGA, American Center for Design, Graphis, Communication Arts, Print, Red Dot, International Forum Design Hanover and How, among others. Jeff received his bachelor of fine arts degree from California Institute of the Arts.

She began her career in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Credit Suisse First Boston. As senior vice president, business development, Mark is responsible for Palm corporate and business-development functions. He returns to Palm after an absence of four years. In his early years at the company, Mark was the vice president responsible for the Palm OS® platform and led the creation of the "Palm Economy," which grew to more than 100,000 developers and 20,000 applications during his tenure.
Prior to his return to Palm, Mark was a vice president at Intuit, where he helped establish and grow the Intuit Developer Network. His group created SDKs (software development kits), recruited developers and provided technical and member support and service resulting in 30,000+ developers producing 7,000 applications for Intuit.
Prior to Intuit, Mark was vice president of marketing and business development at Atheros Communications, an early stage wireless semiconductor startup. He was responsible for all marketing, product marketing strategy, segmentation and business development.
Before his initial position at Palm, Mark held several management and executive management positions at high-growth technology companies, including Sun Microsystems and Chipcom Corporation.

Earlier in his career, Page was an account director for FCB San Francisco, responsible for the Pacific Bell and Epson accounts, including advertising and the re-branding of Pacific Bell. While at TBWA Advertising in New York, his accounts included Absolut Vodka, Bombay Gin, Evian Mineral Water, NEC Electronics, Motorola, Chock ful 'o Nuts coffee and Steuben Crystal.

Jeff joined Palm from Nokia, where he was vice president of Global Customer Logistics, responsible for a diverse global team located in more than 45 countries. Joe Fabris has 23 years of experience in the high-tech market, serving in a variety of positions with leading companies in the industry. He joined Palm through the merger of Handspring and Palm in 2003. At Palm, he is responsible for the marketing of the wireless line of the company's solutions to the business audience, including email and infrastructure products as well as productivity applications. Before working in the smartphone world, Joe spent 10 years at Microsoft. He held positions as a systems engineer, sales executive, marketing manager, education and government sales manager, and Western Region marketing director. In 1992, he was awarded the Chairman's Award by Microsoft CEO Bill Gates as the nation's top sales executive. In 1997, he was again recognized as the nation's top field manager. Prior to joining Microsoft, Joe spent five years at IBM, where he was a mechanical engineer at the San Jose disk drive facility before attaining his MBA and becoming an IBM marketing representative. Joe is a member of the board of directors of The Tech Museum of Innovation, where in 2002 he launched a Video Game Fundraiser called Maxgames, which utilizes the Tech's IMAX Dome as a playing venue. He is a graduate of San Jose City College and Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo.
Kesava Has over 10 years of experience most of which was spent in product development and Business development. He was co-founder of MyDuniya Networks (p) Ltd. He has worked for 7 years developing products for Pocket PC and Palm at NOUS. He has also worked with NAL-Bangalore as one of the core designer and developer of MIS for SARAS an indigenous aircraft. He is co-founder trustee of Mobile Monday, Bangalore and co-founder of Headstart. He holds BE in Mechanical Engineering.

Mary manages the delivery of legal services to Palm's international operations, and is responsible for the company's intellectual property strategy and its government affairs program. She represents Palm on the boards of the American Electronics Association and the Information Technology Industry Council.
Before joining Palm, Mary was general counsel and secretary at General Magic, Inc. Prior to that, she worked for 12 years at Teledyne, Inc., culminating as general counsel of the company's Aerospace and Electronics Segment. She began her legal career in business litigation at Manatt Phelps.
Mary has a bachelor's degree in biology and economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She received her law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley.

Rena is responsible for all worldwide human resources activities at Palm, including staffing, benefits, compensation and work force development.
Rena brings more than 20 years of experience providing progressive human resources leadership to companies throughout all stages of development and global organizational growth. She joined Palm from WebEx, where she was vice president of human resources. Previously, Rena was vice president of human resources at MIPS at the time of its spin-out and IPO and was one of the original human resources leaders at SGI during its period of rapid growth. She also held roles with Exxon Corporation's high-technology merger and acquisitions team.
Rena received a bachelor's degree in economics from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a master's degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University.

Mr. Ryan "Has-No-Nickname-Until-We-Get-to-Know-Him-Better" Lim is the newest addition to our youth teaching staff. Ryan is a transplant from the state of Illinois where he graduated from UI Champaigne. He is a software engineer for Palm who enjoys biking and roller blading. He is a ping-pong master on par with David and takes the challenge of all you mortal ping-pongers. He will crush you like little fish eyeballs. This will be his first year serving as a teacher in our ministry. So, please be gentle with him. Ryan will be teaching the MS Bible Foundations SSH Bible Study class in 2008-09.

As senior vice president of system software, Way is responsible for the underlying system and media software for Palm's platform.
Way's executive management and engineering leadership experience spans over 20 years in roles from startup CEO and founder to large-company senior executive. Prior to joining Palm, he founded Voxa, an enterprise application software company, and Pictra, which allowed customers and business to put digital photo albums online.
Prior to Pictra, Way was vice president and general manager of the Visual Magic Division of Silicon Graphics. Before that, he was vice president of engineering at Stardent Computer Corp., a manufacturer of high-end graphics workstations. He also spent nine years with AT&T/Bell Labs in New Jersey serving in various engineering and management capacities.
Way holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Cornell University.

A leader in the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania labor movement, Mr. Eiding is active in many civic, charitable and government affairs. Prior to being elected President of the Philadelphia Council of the AFL-CIO in January 2002, Mr. Eiding served for 29 years as Business Manager and Financial Secretary of the Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local 14 covering Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. He began working with the Insulators in 1959 before being drafted into the U.S. Army. Following an honorable discharge, he was admitted to the Union in 1963 as an apprentice. After becoming a journeyman, he continued working in the field until his election as Business Manager. Mr. Eiding has risen through the ranks of leadership throughout his career. His union leadership roles include serving as past President of the Asbestos Workers Middle Atlantic States Conference, and past President of the Mechanical Trades Council in Philadelphia and New Jersey. He currently serves as Vice President of the Pennsylvania Building Trades Council, Secretary/Treasurer of the Philadelphia Building Trades Council, and as a member of the Executive Council of the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO. Mr. Eiding represents the interests of working families by serving as an active member of numerous boards and commissions. He is the co-chairman of PALM (Philadelphia Area Labor Management), and sits on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Comey Labor Institute of St. Joseph's University, and the nominating panel for Community College of Philadelphia. He is on the Executive Committee of Philadelphia Workforce Investment Board (WIB), and serves as a Commissioner for the Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA), and the Philadelphia Planning Commission. Mr. Eiding is very involved in this community and has invested many hours in civic and community endeavors. His favorite charity event is the Asbestos Workers Mesothelioma Fund. In 1992, he spearheaded the negotiations to inaugurate the Fund as part of the Insulators Collective Bargaining Agreements to aid in the research of this most dreadful disease. In 1995, he chaired the first Annual Mesothelioma Golf tournament, which has raised more than $1,000,000 to date for the Fox Chase Cancer Center. Since being elected President of the Philadelphia Council AFL-CIO, he has made the voice of labor heard throughout this region. He has co-hosted the weekly "Labor to Neighbor" radio show which strives to educate listeners about current working family issues, and to serve as a voice for those who need it most in our community.

Paul S. Mountford will become one of our directors upon election at the Annual Meeting. Mr. Mountford has been the President, Emerging Markets Theatre, of Cisco Systems, Inc., a worldwide provider of networking solutions that allow people to connect, communicate and collaborate, since August 2005. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channels at Cisco from December 2001 through August 2005, as Vice President of Service Provider Sales Team in EMEA at Cisco from August 2000 through December 2001, as Vice President Service Provider Line of Business EMEA at Cisco from April 1999 through July 2000, as Vice President of the United Kingdom and Ireland at Cisco from July 1998 through April 1999, and as Managing Director of the United Kingdom and Ireland at Cisco from July 1996 through August 1998.
