Chris Walker joined the Firm in 1998 as an associate in the secondary partnership group. In 1999, he joined the primary partnership group and has focused most of his efforts on U.S. venture capital and buyout investments. He became a vice president during 2003. Chris also has extensive experience working on the healthcare sector, as well as primary partnerships in Canada. He currently serves on the advisory committees for partnerships managed by Caltius Capital Management, Galen Associates, Goense Bounds, Vector Capital, and The Wicks Group. Prior to graduate school, Chris served as a pilot in the United States Navy for 11 years, flying the P-3 Orion aircraft, and achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He received a BS in Finance from Providence College in 1986 and an MS in Finance from the Carroll School of Management Program at Boston College in 1998.

Corentin du Roy joined HarbourVest's London-based subsidiary in 2003 as an analyst focusing on non-U.S. direct, secondary, and non-U.S. growth equity and leveraged buyout investments. He was promoted to senior associate in 2005 and vice president in 2006. Corentin currently focuses on non-U.S. growth equity and leveraged buyout transactions. He serves as a director of Flash Networks, Kiala, and Servista. He has also been involved in HarbourVest's direct investments in Amdocs (Cramer), Betapharm, Bezier, Finjan, and Loxam among others. He joined the Firm from AXA Investment Managers, where he was an equity and high-yield debt research analyst focusing mainly on the telecom sector. Fluent in French, Corentin received a BS (with distinction) in Business Administration from Paris IX Dauphine University in 1999 and received his CFA designation in 2002.

David Atterbury joined HarbourVest's London-based subsidiary as a vice president in 2004 to focus on non-U.S. secondary partnership investments. He joined HarbourVest after five years with Abbey National Treasury Services Plc, where he was Director of Private Equity. David's responsibilities at Abbey National included the development of a direct private equity portfolio and the subsequent disposal of a large diversified portfolio of partnership commitments and direct holdings. In these roles, he gained extensive experience in deal origination and execution, due diligence, and performance monitoring. David has developed strong relationships with private equity fund managers around the world and completed a complex structured sale of a multi-asset portfolio. His previous experience also includes five years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, which included a one-year assignment to Bridgepoint Capital in London. David received a BSc (with honors) in International Management and French from the University of Bath in 1994, and completed professional examinations in 1997 to qualify as a Chartered Accountant.

John Fiato joined the Firm's accounting group in 1994 after completing his undergraduate degree. He joined the secondary investment team as an analyst in 1999, became a senior associate in 2003, and was promoted to vice president in 2006. John currently focuses on transaction origination and evaluation for U.S. and non-U.S. secondary investments. He has been significantly involved in more than 50 closed secondary transactions. During his tenure with the accounting group, John was responsible for producing financial statements and quarterly limited partners' capital account statements, coordinating cash distributions and performance measurement, and monitoring closings for secondary transactions. He received a BSBA in Accounting, with a minor in Economics, from Salem State College in 1994.

Libby Liebig joined HarbourVest in 2006 as the Firm's Compliance Officer responsible for maintaining the Firm's compliance program under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Libby joined HarbourVest from Babson Capital Management, where she was the Compliance Director responsible for maintaining the compliance program, corporate governance, client reporting, and Code of Ethics reporting. Her other compliance experience includes working as the Compliance Manager at Pioneer Investments and the Compliance Officer at Lee Munder Capital Group. Libby's other industry experience includes Director of Mutual Fund Operations for both The Munder Funds and The LMCG Funds. Libby received a BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2005. She is a member of both the National Society of Compliance Professionals and the Alternative Investments Compliance Association.

Ed Kane is a senior managing director of HarbourVest Partners, LLC and a founder of the Firm. He is responsible for overseeing U.S. and non-U.S. partnership and direct investments. He joined John Hancock's corporate finance department in 1979 and co-founded Hancock Venture Partners in 1982, which later became HarbourVest Partners. He serves as an advisory committee member for several U.S. and foreign private equity partnerships, including funds managed by Candover Partners Limited and Charterhouse Capital Partners. Ed has also served on the Boards of three public companies: Xylogics, AI Corporation, and Mutual Risk Management Ltd., and is a Trustee of the Mystic Seaport Museum. He was previously a Major in United States Army Intelligence where he trained in electronics and telecommunications. His experience also includes four years with the commercial banking division of the New England Merchants National Bank. He received a BA (cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania in 1971 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1975.

Robert Wadsworth has served as a Network Engines director since 1999. He has also served as managing director of HarbourVest Partners, LLC since 1997 and managing director of Hancock Venture Partners, Inc., an affiliate of Network Engines. Robert is a member of the board of directors of several domestic and international private companies, as well as the following publicly held companies: Concord Communications, Inc., ePresence, Inc. (formerly Banyan Systems, Inc.), Switchboard, Inc., and Trintech Group PLC.

Jecca Auchterlonie joined HarbourVest as an equity trader and distribution manager in 2006. She is responsible for all aspects of partnership and direct investment public stock liquidation. Jecca joined the Firm from TA Associates in Boston, where she was a trading and compliance manager focused on all portfolio company securities transactions for private equity funds, as well as all Section 16 and Rule 144 compliance. Jecca received a BA (cum laude) from Lynchburg College in 1993 and an MBA from the Simmons School of Management in 2002.

Karin Lagerlund is the Firm's Controller, with responsibility for overseeing the accounting and finance teams. This team of more than 20 professionals generates annual and semi-annual financial statements, as well as quarterly limited partner capital account statements. This team is also responsible for cash distributions and fund level performance measurement and monitors closings for secondary transactions. Karin joined the Firm in 2000 after seven years at AEW Capital Management, a real estate investment adviser. As the head of the portfolio accounting group, she was responsible for client reporting, performance measurement, information management, and financial due diligence. Her previous experience also includes a position as audit manager with EY Kenneth Leventhal. Karin received a BA in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting and Finance from Washington State University in 1987.

Andy Gribbel joined HarbourVest's primary partnership team in 2003. He currently focuses on U.S. venture, buyout, and mezzanine and distressed debt partnership investments. Andy's previous experience includes international equity trading at Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co., as well as co-founding a company that developed software for interactive television. He received a BA in Economics and Sociology from Amherst College in 1995 and an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management in 2001.

Brett Gordon is a member of HarbourVest's secondary partnership investment team. He joined HarbourVest in 1998 as an analyst after receiving his MBA and became a principal in 2003. He focuses on large secondary transactions and deal sourcing activities. Brett was a key participant in the MidOcean Partners transaction, the management buyout of the Deutsche Bank Capital Partners' later stage private equity portfolio, as well as a number of other large, proprietary transactions. Brett currently serves on the advisory board of Vitalife Partners, L.P. and the valuation committee of EnerTech Capital Partners II L.P. Brett's previous experience includes serving as a vice president for The Princeton Review of Boston, Inc., where he managed all operational functions of the organization and was responsible for long range strategic planning. He received a BSBA in Management (magna cum laude) from Boston University in 1990 and an MBA (summa cum laude) from Babson College in 1998.

Casey Simmons joined HarbourVest's direct investment group as an associate in 2006 to focus on growth equity and buyout investments. Casey joined the Firm from Jeffries Broadview in New York, a technology investment bank, where he was an analyst focused on mergers and acquisitions, as well as debt and equity financings for middle market companies. His prior experience also includes three years as an engineer in the Leadership Development Program for Lockheed Martin. Casey received a BS (summa cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University in 2001 and an MS in Telecommunications and Networking from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. He also studied abroad at the University of Valparaiso in Chile.

Craig Franklin joined HarbourVest's secondary investment team as an associate in 2006. His responsibilities include analyzing, structuring, and monitoring portfolios of direct investments, structured transactions, and large buyout opportunities. Craig joined the Firm from Barclays Capital in New York, and his prior experience includes investment banking at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin in New York, where he advised corporate clients across various industry sectors on mergers and acquisitions, financings, and restructurings. Craig also interned at Salomon Smith Barney in New York. He received a BA in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2003. Craig continues to volunteer for The Fresh Air Fund of New York. He speaks Hindi and French.

Julie Ocko joined HarbourVest's primary partnership team in 2001 and became a principal in 2006. She focuses on U.S. venture capital and buyout investments. Julie serves on the advisory boards of Capital Resource Partners, Code Hennessy & Simmons, and Falcon Investment Advisors. Prior to joining the Firm, she spent ten years with AEW Capital Management, a real estate investment adviser. As a principal in the Capital Markets Group, she managed financing and disposition transactions for AEW's investment portfolio. Julie also worked for Narragansett Capital, a management buyout firm. She received a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina in 1982 and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia in 1987.

Rose Kraemer joined HarbourVest's primary partnership group as an associate in 2005 and focuses on U.S. venture, buyout, and mezzanine partnership investments. Rose joined the Firm from Investor Group Services (IGS), an Ernst & Young company that conducts market due diligence for private equity funds. While at IGS, Rose worked as a consultant helping clients assess the attractiveness of investment opportunities by providing them with market size and growth estimates, as well as providing customer diligence. She received a BA in History from Dartmouth College in 2002.
