Mr. Iwata came to Hitachi GST in August 2006. He began his career with Hitachi Ltd. in 1972 in the Overseas Business Department. He worked his way up through various positions until he became manager of the Business Planning Department for the Information Systems Group in 1996. From there, he joined Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) in 1997 as executive vice president. In 2000, Iwata returned to Hitachi Ltd. to serve as deputy general manager of the International Business Promotion Division. He was promoted to general manager of the Global Business Development Division in 2001. Later that year, he returned to HDS as chief executive officer. After almost five years leading HDS, he returned to Hitachi Ltd. to serve as CMO of Hitachi Ltd.'s Information and Telecommunication Systems Group. Mr. Iwata earned a B.S. of engineering degree from Waseda University in Japan.

Toru Motobayashi was registered as a lawyer with the Tokyo Bar Association in April 1963. In July 1971, he became a Partner of Mori, Hamada & Matsumoto (former Mori Sogo). In April 1995, he became the Chairman of the Tokyo Bar Association, and in April 2002 he became the Chairman of the Japan Federation of Bar Associations. In May 2002, he became the Commissioner of the Commercial Law Center, Inc. In June 2006, he became a Director of Hitachi Ltd. In April 2008, he became a Partner of Ihara and Motobayashi. In June 2008, he was elected a Corporate Auditor of NTT.
Consolidating an initial eight years of technology recruitment experience, Peter worked as a Human Resources Consultant for a further six years before founding Band-X Recruitment Ltd in 1998. He successfully delivered candidates, recruitment services and selection management projects for numerous blue chip technology firms - Cap Gemini, Institute of Directors, Standard Bank, Hitachi, Times Mirror and others - establishing HR and business processes to fit their needs. As the managing vice president of customer and channel solutions for Hitachi Consulting, Brian Johnson is responsible for company-wide profitable growth and intellectual property development in the areas of sales and channel, marketing, and customer care optimization and automation. Johnson has spent his entire 20 year professional career assisting companies with improving and automating their customer facing functions. He has extensive experience in developing CRM strategies, architecting technical CRM solutions, planning for complex global implementations, and managing the process and organizational change required to successfully transform companies into customer-centric organizations. Johnson is a Ph.D. candidate in applied management and decision sciences at Walden University.
David Moore is the managing vice president of Hitachi Consulting's life sciences industry group and also leads the Lawson practice. He is a founding member of Hitachi Consulting and a principal with the predecessor firm. He has been with the organization since 1989. He established an office in Paris while overseeing a three year engagement in France for one of Hitachi Consulting's largest clients. Moore has more than 20 years of business consulting experience and a strong background in business and IT strategic planning, reengineering and implementation. His industry experience includes system implementation, integration, and custom development projects in healthcare, oilfield services, construction, high-tech, retail, and aerospace and defense. Moore earned a bachelor's degree in computer systems management from Murray State University and is currently completing his MBA from Arizona State University. He is a frequent speaker on business and IT topics at conferences and tradeshows. In his spare time, he and his wife Laura enjoy hiking, traveling, and collecting wine.

Vinie Zhang serves as the Vice President of Hitachi's corporate venture capital group responsible for strategic investment in IT, Bio-tech, new material, and NANO/MEMS technology areas. Prior to joining Hitachi, Vinie was a Vice President for three years at Asiatech Ventures, an early-stage cross pacific venture fund, where she made numerous investments in enterprise software, wireless, and communications. Earlier, Vinie was a Program Manager managing new product development efforts at Read-Rite Corporation, a US based thin-film head manufacturer. She was also the Vice President of Sales and Marketing of FIT Bearings, a US/China joint venture start-up in the industrial component market. A native of Shanghai, Vinie was the editor in chief of "We a Million", a Shanghai-based school children newspaper with circulation of one million. She was also the youngest TV producer and talk show host for Shanghai Television Station, producing a weekly feature program targeting the teenager audience. Vinie has been a keen promoter of entrepreneurship and venture investing in China and sits on the board of HuaYuan Science and Technology Association, a premier mainland Chinese professional organization. She is also the founding chairperson of the HuaYuan Venture Capital Group. Vinie was the recipient of a Haas MBA scholarship while receiving her MBA from Haas Business School at the University of California at Berkeley. Vinie received her BS degrees Magna Cum Laude in Finance and Marketing from San Jose State University.
