Before Solectron, Dickinson was Chairman, President and CEO of Vermont Micro Systems Inc., a graphics board designer. He was also CEO of Dataproducts Corp., a supplier of OEM printers, and he served for seven years in various general management roles in the core memory and disk drive business at Control Data Corporation. Prior to that, he was the Corporate Vice President of manufacturing for Memorex and spent 20 years in a broad range of manufacturing roles at RCA. Mr. Dickinson holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and served as an officer in the U.S. Army.
