Mr. Martin H. Singer has been our Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board since October 2001. Prior to that, Mr. Singer served as our non-executive Chairman of the Board from February 2001 until October 2001, and he has been a director since August 1999. From October 2000 to May 2001, Mr. Singer was an independent consultant. From December 1997 to August 2000, Mr. Singer served as President and Chief Executive Officer of SAFCO Technologies, a wireless communications company. He left SAFCO in August 2000 after its sale to Agilent Technologies. From September 1994 to December 1997, Mr. Singer served as Vice President and General Manager of the wireless access business development division for Motorola, a communications equipment company. Prior to this period, Mr. Singer held senior management and technical positions in Motorola, Tellabs, AT&T and Bell Labs. Mr. Singer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Arts degree and a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Singer is a member of the Executive Board of the Midwest council of the AeA (American Electronics Association). He is also on the advisory board for the Master of Management & Manufacturing program at Northwestern University (Kellogg) and served on the standing advisory group for the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board for two years. In March, 2009 Mr. Singer was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Westell Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of broadband products, gateways and conferencing services. He received the Martin N. Sandler distinguished Achievement Award (2007) from the AICC for his contributions to the development of economic ties between Israel and the U.S. He received the Executive Leadership Award from the AeA for his contributions to the technology community over several years. Mr. Singer has 8 patents in telecommunications and has written numerous articles on network evolution, immigration and labor policy, and other issues related to technology development.

John was a 19 year Motorola veteran with broad experience in Intellectual Property licensing, management of international manufacturing operations, and traditional controller responsibilities. John served as controller of Motorola's fixed wireless division and helped managed its growth to a $250 million operation. He held the COO and CFO positions at SAFCO Technologies during its growth from a $18 to $42 million operation and managed the transition of SAFCO to Agilent Technology's ownership. John has served as PCTEL's COO and CFO since November, 2001 and successfully restructured the company's IT, inventory and forecasting processes while executing the company's transition to wireless. John is a CPA and began his career with Ernst & Young LLP. He received his BS in Accounting from DePaul University.

Mr. Jeffrey A. Miller has been the Vice President and General Manager of Broadband Technology Group since October 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Miller was Vice President of Global Sales since July 2004 before taking on his Broadband Technology Group role. Mr. Miller was Vice President of Business Development and Licensing from January 2003 before taking on his Global Sales role. Prior to that position, in September 2002 Mr. Miller was appointed Vice President of Product Management & New Technology. From November 2001 when he joined PCTEL, until September of 2002, Mr. Miller was Vice President of Engineering. Prior to joining PCTEL, Mr. Miller was Functional Manager of Wireless Optimization Products, Wireless Network Test Division of Agilent Technologies Inc. from July 2000 to November 2001. From January 1998 to July 2000, Mr. Miller served as Vice President of Engineering of SAFCO Technologies, Inc. and led its Test and Measurement Group before its acquisition by Agilent Technologies Inc. From September 1992 to January 1998, Mr. Miller was a Principal Consultant with Malcolm, Miller & Associates providing consulting services to wireless network operators and infrastructure suppliers. From 1978 through September of 1992, Mr. Miller held various technical and management positions at Motorola, Inc. s Cellular Infrastructure Group. Mr. Miller received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of Illinois.

Mr. Luis Rugeles has been the Vice President and General Manager of the RF Solutions Group since April, 2006. After joining the company in 2003, Mr. Rugeles held several other positions at PCTEL including Vice President of International Sales and Director of Product Marketing for the RF Solutions Group. With two decades of continued work in the wireless industry, Mr. Rugeles also brings to PCTEL substantial Sales and Business Development expertise. Previously held positions in this area include responsibilities at Schema, Inc., TTC, SAFCO Technologies, Inc., and Motorola where he was the Director of Sales for the Wireless Infrastructure Group. Mr. Rugeles began his career in the Wireless Industry as an RF engineer at BellSouth International where he was responsible for the design and optimization of several emerging cellular networks. Mr. Rugeles received a BS in Electronics Engineering from Simon Bolivar University in Caracas, Venezuela, a Latin American Business Certificate from the University of Florida and an MBA in International Business from Vanderbilt University.

Currently Robert leads PCTEL’s worldwide Sales organizations. Prior to joining PCTEL in June 2007, Robert enjoyed a successful 22 year career at Motorola. He held positions of increasing responsibilities in the accounting and finance organizations until the mid 1990’s. In 1997, Robert transitioned from the finance organization into Motorola’s iDEN business unit. From 1997 to 2005 he led Motorola’s iDEN International Infrastructure Group where he was successful in launching the iDEN technology in 23 countries. Robert has extensive international experience and has lived in both Mexico City and Singapore during his tenure at Motorola. In 2005 he assumed the VP & GM leadership role for the sales group responsible for one of Motorola’s largest multi-billion dollar mobile devices customers. He received his BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Before joining PCTEL, Varda served as a vice president of legal services for Motorola's Commercial Government and Industrial Solutions Sector (CGISS). She also served as vice president and lead counsel for Motorola’s Cellular Infrastructure Group (CIG) during its growth from $500 million to $4.5 billion in revenue. Varda began her career at Motorola in 1977 supporting the automotive and electronics group. She received her undergraduate and law degrees at Northwestern University and DePaul University of Law, respectively.

Mr. Thomsen has been a director since March 2001. Mr. Thomsen served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary at Stratex Networks, Inc., (now a part of Harris Stratex Networks, Inc.), a provider of wireless transmission solutions, from 1995 to 2007. Mr. Thomsen is also currently a member of the board of directors of the Cardiac Therapy Foundation of the Mid-peninsula, a non-profit organization providing a cardiovascular wellness and rehabilitation program. Mr. Thomsen holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Valparaiso University and a master degree in business administration from the University of Michigan. He is also a certified public accountant.

Giacomo is Founder and Managing Director of Noventi. Prior to Noventi and since 1995 Giacomo was a private venture investor. In 1998 Giacomo also served as interim chief executive officer of FutureTel, a digital video capture company. In 1993-94 Giacomo was president and chief executive officer of Common Ground Software (formerly No Hands Software), an electronic publishing software company, acquired by Hummingbird Communications. In 1981, Giacomo co-founded Logitech (Nasdaq: LOGI). He was with the company until 1992 as a Director and member of the management team launching Logitech and driving it to become a world leader in computer-input devices. He served most recently as Executive VP, Chief Operating Officer. Earlier, he was Executive Vice President, Engineering and Operations; and Vice President of Engineering. Prior to co-founding Logitech, Giacomo was with IBM and Olivetti, where he was involved in the development of early relational database management systems. Giacomo is Director or investment lead of Celltick, Ecrio and Minerva Networks. He led Noventi investments in Easy Market (acquired by TUI), M7 (acquired by BEA), Sygate (acquired by Symantec) and Dynamicsoft/Teltier (acquired by Cisco).

Mr. Jackman has been a director since February 2002. Mr. Jackman is currently the President of The Jackman Group, Inc., a management consulting company that he formed in 2005. In September 2001, Mr. Jackman retired from Tellabs, a communications company that he had been with since 1982. Mr. Jackman served as President, Global Systems and Technology, and Executive Vice President of Tellabs since 1998, and he was President of Tellabs Operations from 1993 to 1998. Mr. Jackman held various management positions in sales and marketing for IBM from 1965 to 1982. He is currently on the boards of directors of Open Text, Inc., an enterprise content management solutions company, and Keithley Instruments, a test and measurement equipment company. In addition, Mr. Jackman serves on the board of trustees of Gannon University. Mr. Jackman holds a bachelor of arts degree in English literature from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania and a master degree in business administration from Penn State University.

Mr. Sheehan has been a director since October 2002. Mr. Sheehan has served as a senior consultant in the London Perret Roche Group in Red Bank, New Jersey since October 2001. He began his career at Bell Laboratories in 1962. In his 33 years at Bell Laboratories, Western Electric and AT&T, he worked in senior positions in development, manufacturing, strategic planning and general management of business units. Since leaving AT&T in 1996, Mr. Sheehan has held senior management positions in three startup companies. Mr. Sheehan received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Drexel University and a master of science degree in electrical engineering from New York University.

Richard (Dick) C. Alberding retired from the Hewlett-Packard Company in June 1991, serving at that time as an executive vice president with responsibility for worldwide company sales, support and administration activities for measurement and computation products, as well as all corporate-level marketing activities. He served on HP's five-person executive committee. Mr. Alberding joined Hewlett-Packard in 1958, and held numerous positions during his long career for the company, including customer service manager, international manufacturing manager, general manager of HP Inter-Americas, managing director of HP S.A., general manager of HP's medical products business unit, vice president, senior vice president responsible for HP's International Operations, and finally, executive vice president, a post he held until retirement. Born in Elgin, Illinois, Mr. Alberding earned a degree in business administration/marketing in 1953 from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. He received a degree in electrical engineering from DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago in 1958 and attended Stanford University and INSEADS', France, Advanced Studies Programs. In addition to holding a seat on the board of Quick Eagle Networks, he is a director of DMC Stratex, PC-Tel, Inc., and Sybase.
