John C. Walters is president and chief operating officer for Hartford Life, Inc., the life insurance subsidiary of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: HIG). He is also is also a member of the company's Office of the Chairman.

Mr. Wolin, 47, is an Executive Vice President of the Company and serves as President and Chief Operating Officer for property and casualty operations, positions he has held since June 11, 2007. He previously held the positions of Executive Vice President and General Counsel from March 20, 2001 until June 11, 2007, where he oversaw the company’s legal, government affairs, corporate relations, communications and marketing functions, as well as the property and casualty’s insurance runoff operations. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Wolin served as General Counsel of the U.S. Department of the Treasury from 1999 to January 2001. In that capacity, he headed Treasury’s legal division, composed of 2,000 lawyers supporting all of Treasury’s offices and bureaus, including the Internal Revenue Service, Customs, Secret Service, Public Debt, the Office of Thrift Supervision, the Financial Management Service, the U.S. Mint and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Mr. Wolin served as the Deputy General Counsel of the Department of the Treasury from 1995 to 1999. Prior to joining the Treasury Department, he served in the White House, first as the Executive Assistant to the National Security Advisor and then as the Deputy Legal Advisor to the National Security Council. Mr. Wolin joined the U.S. Government in 1991 as special assistant to the Directors of Central Intelligence, William H. Webster, Robert M. Gates and R. James Woolsey.

Thomas M. Marra is president and chief operating officer of The Hartford, one of the nation's largest financial services and insurance companies, a position he was elected to in June 2007. In this role, Marra oversees the businesses of the company's life and property and casualty operations.
Marra is also a member of The Hartford's board of directors, the Office of the Chairman, and The Hartford Mutual Funds Board of Directors, and is president of the life insurance subsidiaries owned by Hartford Life.
Previously, Marra was chief operating officer and president of The Hartford's life operations, positions he assumed in 2000 and 2001, respectively. Under Marra's leadership, Hartford Life is a leading seller of retail variable annuities in the U.S. and in Japan. An active participant within the life insurance and financial planning industries, Marra is the chairman of the board of directors of the American Council of Life Insurers. He is also a member of the board of trustees for St. Bonaventure University and the board of trustees of The Bushnell Performing Arts Center, Hartford, Conn.
Marra is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University, a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Lizabeth H. Zlatkus is executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., a position she assumed in May 2008. She is a member of the Office of the Chairman.
In this capacity, Zlatkus is responsible for corporate strategy, finance, capital and enterprise risk management, investor relations, real estate, procurement and corporate information systems functions.
Zlatkus joined The Hartford in its property and casualty business in 1983 after starting her professional career at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG). Zlatkus held positions of increasing responsibility throughout The Hartford, including chief financial officer of the company's life operations. Her most recent assignment was co-chief operating officer of The Hartford's life operations and president of International Wealth Management and Group Benefits. Under Zlatkus's leadership of International Wealth Management and Group Benefits, The Hartford is the leader in variable annuity assets under management in Japan and the number one seller of fully insured group disability and the number two seller of group life insurance in the U.S.
In 2000 and 2006, Zlatkus was named by Business Insurance magazine as one of 100 "Women to Watch." More recently, in 2008, Zlatkus was named one of Greater Hartford's "Eight Remarkable Women" by the Hartford Business Journal.
A graduate with distinction, Zlatkus holds a degree from Pennsylvania State University. In 2003, Zlatkus was selected as an alumni fellow and currently serves on the Pennsylvania State University board of visitors.

Alan J. Kreczko is executive vice president and general counsel of The Hartford, a position he was elected to in June 2007. In his current position, Kreczko is responsible for the company's legal department and government affairs organization.
Kreczko joined The Hartford in September 2003 as senior vice president and deputy general counsel where he oversaw the law department's property and casualty, life, investment and compliance units.

Eileen Whelley joined The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. in December 2006 as executive vice president, global human resources and was named executive vice president for human resources in June 2007.
Prior to joining The Hartford, Whelley spent 17 years at General Electric where she held a number of human resources leadership roles. In 2002, she was named executive vice president of human resources for NBC Universal, responsible for HR and talent negotiations for the NBCU Television Group and corporate staff functions. At NBCU, Whelley also led NBCU's diversity and employer-of-choice programs and was named a company officer of GE, NBCU's parent company, in December 2003.
Before joining NBCU, Whelley was the vice president of human resources excellence for GE Capital in Stamford, Conn., where she oversaw HR for eight GE Capital businesses, HR Six Sigma and HR talent development.
Whelley served as executive vice president of human resources for GE's Employers Reinsurance in Kansas City, Kan. from 1997 to 1999. From 1993 to 1997, she held various HR assignments at GE's corporate headquarters in Fairfield, Conn.
Before joining GE in 1989, Whelley worked for Citicorp and Standard Oil of Ohio in a variety of HR roles. She is a graduate of Potsdam College and has a master's degree from Bowling Green State University.
Whelley is a member of the corporate council for The White House Project and served on the boards of the Emma Bowen Foundation and the 9/11 Fund. She also was a member of the GE Women's Network since its founding in 1997, served as its co-leader from 2001 through 2003, and remained on its executive board until 2006.

Connie Weaver joined The Hartford on February 25, 2008, as senior vice president, marketing and communications, reporting to the CEO Ramani Ayer. She also serves as a member of the Office of the Chairman.
In her role, Weaver oversees marketing and communications for the company. Her areas of focus include the company’s brand management and advertising, media and community relations and executive and employee communications.
Weaver comes to The Hartford with an impressive record of achievement in marketing, investor and media relations, communications, teaching, and brand management experience for such high-profile companies as AT&T, Microsoft, MCI and McGraw-Hill. Most recently, Weaver served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer at BearingPoint, a global management and technology consulting firm.
Throughout her career, she has consistently earned industry recognition, including BtoB Magazine's Who's Who list of Top Marketers in 2004, 2006 and 2007, and the Business Marketing Association's Communicator of the Year Award for her efforts at AT&T, as well as various awards in the field of investor relations. She is widely published in the area of communications and investor relations. Weaver serves on the board of Digital Angel Inc. and The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts and is active in several professional, national and community-based organizations.
Weaver holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland and has completed post-graduate financial management, marketing and strategic planning courses at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, and Imede (Switzerland). She has also completed the executive finance program at Stanford University.

Mr. Allardice, 61, began his financial services career at Morgan Stanley & Co., Inc., where he spent nearly 20 years in positions of accelerating responsibility. He founded the company's Merger Arbitrage Department and later became chief operating officer of the Equity Department. He was also a founding member of Morgan Stanley's Finance Committee.
