Dr. Yee is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and specializes in evaluation and treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic prolapse, fecal incontinence and minimally invasive surgery. She received her medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Yee completed her residency at Harbor - UCLA Medical Center and fellowship in urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and University of Maryland.

August Espinal received her bachelors in food science and human nutrition from the University of Hawaii and is certified in adult weight management. She works with patients to educate and establish appropriate dietary plans to support the patient's treatment plan.

Dr. Pillen received his masters and doctorate from DePaul University, IL. He specializes in women's health issues and sees patients at the Breast Center and Women's Cancer Center.

David T. Lee, DO, FACC joined Straub in 2001. Dr. Lee is board certified in cardiovascular disease. His special interests include invasive and interventional cardiology. He received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his residency and cardiology fellowship at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL. He also completed a fellowship in vascular medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Singer specializes in the treatment of osteoporosis and is the medical director of Kapi'olani's Bone Health Program. He received his medical degree from the University of the East Medical School. He completed his residency at Trenton Affiliated Hospitals and fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Singer helps women diagnosed or at risk for osteoporosis to develop a preventive treatment plan in coordination with their doctor.

Hingson M. Chun, MD joined Straub in April, 2003. He is board certified in cardiovascular medicine and internal medicine. His special interests include advanced cardiac rhythm management including implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators and invasive electrophysiologic procedures. Dr. Chun received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Michigan. Dr. Chun completed fellowships in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular medicine at Stanford University. (King Street & Kapi'olani Medical Center at Pali Momi)

John P. Kristofich, MD, FACC joined Straub in 2001. He is board certified in cardiology and internal medicine. His special interests include interventional cardiology and early detection of cardiovascular disease. Dr. Kristofich received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Piscataway, NJ. He completed his residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA, and his fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. (King Street)

Dr. Cho is presently in private practice in Honolulu and is an assistant clinical professor with the John A. Burns School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship training at the City of Hope National Medical Center in California and the University of California, Irvine. He is a graduate of the John A. Burns School of Medicine and he completed his residency at University of California, Irvine. He is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Cho has been active in the promotion of clinical trials as a member of the Southwest Oncology Group and the National Surgical Adjuvant Breast Project. He envisions that the Women's Cancer Center at Kapi'olani will not only provide comprehensive cancer care, but also provide women access to newer cancer treatments.

Dr. Kamemoto is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is an assistant professor with the John A. Burns School of Medicine's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her medical training and obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Kamemoto looks forward to assisting patients with dysplasia/pre-cancer of the cervix, vagina and vulvar, as well as vulvar pain, vaginitis and lower genital problems upon referral from their physicians.

Exercise physiology uses physical activity to treat a broad range of illnesses including obesity. Marcie works with patients to assess their physical condition, design a personalized fitness plan and to monitor their progress over the course of the surgical program.

Dr. Carney has extensive experience treating women for ovarian, cervical and gynecological cancers. Before he joined the Women's Cancer Center and the John A. Burns School of Medicine, he worked at the prestigious Huntsman Cancer Institute. He completed both his obstetrics and gynecology residency and fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the Duke University Medical Center. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and gyn oncology. Dr. Carney is committed to cancer care and research. He has developed clinical trials and is currently studying the molecular genetics of gynecological cancer to better understand and treat the disease.

Michele Murray, M.S. is a certified genetic counselor. Michele meets confidentially with women who have concerns about the change that they or their children may develop breast or gynecological cancer. Michele received her masters degree from Brandeis University, MA.

Dr. Schulz is board certified in plastic surgery. He received his medical degree from George Washington University and completed his residencies at the University of Hawaii (Gen. Surgery), and Cronin and Brauer Clinic (Plastic Surgery). He specializes in cosmetic and breast surgery.

Dr. Brizzolara is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has received specialized training in urogynecology for the treatment of incontinence and other pelvic support problems. She received her medical degree from the University of California, Davis and completed her residency at the University of Hawaii. She teams with our physical therapist and nurse coordinator to develop a comprehensive treatment plan to assist women in regaining their independence.

Dr. Bradley received his medical degree from the University of Bologna in Italy. He is a board certified orthopedic surgeon, and most recently passed his board certification exams in bariatric medicine, the only physician in Hawaii. His diverse background and training includes graduation from the California Culinary Institute with an emphasis in Nutrition & Healthy Food Preparation. Dr. Bradley consults with patients to design personalized weight loss regimens to include behavior modification, dietary and fitness plans, and drug therapy.

Suzanne Nemiroff is the gynecology/oncology nurse coordinator. She has extensive oncology experience and is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society at both state and national levels. She facilitates a monthly support group for GYN and breast cancer patients.

Dr. Mirzai was raised on Maui. He received his medical degree from Cornell University College in Manhattan. He completed three years of general surgery training at the University of Hawaii and three years of plastic surgery training at Loma Linda University Medical Center, CA. Dr. Mirzai specializes in surgical and non-surgical techniques to enhance appearance and reduce signs of aging.

Wesley J. Kai, MD, FACC joined Straub in 1991. He is board certified in cardiology, interventional cardiology, and internal medicine. His special interests include diagnostic and interventional cardiology, and pacemakers. Dr. Kai received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine.
