Dennis Noll serves as Vice President, Community Affairs for Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (KCI). Headquartered in San Antonio, KCI is a global company that develops and markets advanced therapeutic systems designed to improve wound healing and reduce pulmonary and circulatory complications associated with patient immobility. Dennis joined KCI in February 1992 as senior corporate counsel and was appointed vice president, general counsel and secretary in 1993. Dennis was promoted to senior vice president in September 1995. In 2005, Dennis was promoted to Vice President of Community Affairs. Prior to joining KCI, Dennis was a shareholder of the law firm of Cox & Smith, Incorporated. Dennis received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. He serves on the Board of Directors for the San Antonio Children's Shelter and serves on the advisory board for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Texas Burn Survivors and The Bexar County Mental Health Society. Dennis is an active member of Oak Hills Church and is married to Martie Noll, who is a homemaker. Christopher M. Fashek joined KCI in February 1995 as President, KCI USA and was promoted to Vice Chairman, KCI USA in October 2005. Prior to joining KCI, he served as General Manager, New Zealand at Sterling Winthrop, a division of Eastman Kodak, from February 1993 to February 1995, and served as Vice President of Sales at Sterling Winthrop USA, a division of Eastman Kodak, from 1989 until February 1993. Mr. Fashek currently serves as an advisory board member of Network Consulting Information and is Vice Chairman of the World Craniofacial Foundation.

Donald E. Steen founded USPI in February 1998 and served as chief executive officer until April 1, 2004. Mr. Steen continues to serve as chairman. Mr. Steen has served as chairman and chief executive officer of AmeriPath, Inc. since April 2004. Mr. Steen is also a member of the board of directors of Horizon Health Corporation and Kinetic Concepts, Inc.

Harry Jacobson, M.D. became a Director of HealthGate in October 2003. Dr. Jacobson is Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs and Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In 1985, Dr. Jacobson joined the Vanderbilt faculty as Professor of Medicine and Director of the Division of Nephrology. From 1978 to 1985, Dr. Jacobson was on the faculty of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. From 1976 to 1978, he served as Chief of the Renal Section of the U.S. Army Surgical Research Center at Brooke Army Medical Center. Dr. Jacobson is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Society of Nephrology, the International Society of Nephrology, the American Society of Clinical Investigation, and the Association of American Physicians. He is a founder of Renal Care Group and is a member of its Board of Directors. Dr. Jacobson is a member of the Board of Directors of Kinetic Concepts, Inc., a global medical technology company and serves as Chairman of the Board of Cardiovascular Services of America, Inc.

John P. Byrnes became a director in 2003. He has served as Chief Executive Officer of Lincare Holdings Inc., a home health care company, since January 1997 and as a director of Lincare since May 1997. Mr. Byrnes was appointed Chairman of the Board of Lincare Holdings Inc. in March 2000. Mr. Byrnes has been President of Lincare since June 1996. Prior to becoming President, Mr. Byrnes served Lincare in a number of capacities over a ten-year period, including serving as Lincare's Chief Operating Officer throughout 1996.

Ronald W. Dollens is the retired president and CEO of Guidant Corporation, a Fortune 500 company acquired in 2006 for $27 billion by Boston Scientific. Mr. Dollens assumed the post as president and CEO of Guidant in 1994 when the company was formed as a result of a spin-out of Eli Lilly and Company, where he was the president of the Medical Devices and Diagnostic division. Mr. Dollens is currently the non-executive chairman of the board of Kinetic Concepts Inc. and a director of ABIOMED Corporation. Mr. Dollens received a BS in Pharmacy and Pharmacal Sciences from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University.
