Reed became president of SDG&E in July 2000. In January 2002, she also became president of SoCalGas and chief financial officer (CFO) of both SDG&E and SoCalGas, and became president and COO of both companies in May 2004. Before that, Reed served as president of Energy Distribution Services at SoCalGas, overseeing the company's operations for residential, small-commercial and industrial customers. From 1995 to 2000, she served as senior vice president of SoCalGas. From 1984 to 1994, Reed held leadership roles with SoCalGas, including vice president of Human Resources, vice president of Administrative Services, manager of Environmental Engineering and manager of Personnel Relations. In 1983, she served as area market-services manager after five years of working in marketing. Reed joined SoCalGas in February 1978 as an energy systems engineer and, in 1988, became the first female officer appointed at the company. Reed serves on the board of directors for Halliburton Co.; the University of Southern California College of Letters, Arts and Sciences; the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corp.; and Genentech. She is a member of The Trusteeship, an affiliate of the International Women's Forum. Reed also served on the board of Dominguez Services Corp. prior to its acquisition. In 2004, she was awarded "Woman of the Year" from the California Science Center and was named one of San Diego magazine's "50 People to Watch." Prior to his present role, Guiles was president of SDG&E from 1997 to 2000. He also served as executive vice president of Enova Corp., the parent company of SDG&E, from January to June 1998. Before that, Guiles was senior vice president of Enova Corp. from 1996 to 1997. In this role, he oversaw the regulatory process and transition planning for the merger of Enova Corp. and Pacific Enterprises. From 1993 to 1997, Guiles served as senior vice president of Energy Supply for SDG&E, overseeing the company's procurement, generation and transmission of electricity and natural gas. These responsibilities included operation of the company's power plants, as well as administration of its 20-percent ownership of the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. Guiles was also responsible for the company's natural gas pipeline transmission system. Guiles, who joined SDG&E in 1972, has held a range of jobs in engineering, power-plant management, natural gas operations, customer service, and business planning and budgeting. Michael W. Allman is president and chief executive officer of Sempra Generation, which operates power plants for the competitive market in North America. Sempra Generation is a subsidiary of Sempra Energy, a San Diego-based Fortune 500 energy services holding company whose subsidiaries provide electricity, natural gas and value-added products and services. The Sempra Energy companies' 13,600 employees serve more than 24 million consumers worldwide. In his current job, Allman is responsible for the operation of merchant power plants throughout North America. Sempra Generation operates power-plant assets in Nevada, California, Arizona and Mexico. Prior to his job with Sempra Generation, Allman was chief financial officer of Sempra Global, the umbrella organization for Sempra Energy's businesses operating in competitive energy markets. Joseph A. Mark A. Snell is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Sempra Energy, a San Diego-based Fortune 500 energy services holding company whose subsidiaries provide electricity, natural gas and value-added products and services. Snell formerly was group president of Sempra Global, the umbrella organization for the competitive businesses of Sempra Energy. Before becoming group president, Snell was chief financial officer of Sempra Global overseeing the acquisitions, business development and all financial matters for the group. Before joining Sempra Energy in 2001, Snell served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Earth Tech, a Long Beach, Calif.-based water management, engineering and environmental services firm. Gallagher has more than 20 years of experience in the power-generation industry. He came to Sempra from Sterling Energy Operations where he was a partner and director for seven years. He joined Sempra Generation in a consulting role in the spring of 2002 and was responsible for helping mobilize Sempra Generation's western fleet as the organization transitioned from construction through start-up into commercial operations. His group at Sterling also assisted in the transition of ownership of Twin Oaks Power and other Texas assets. He also served as Sempra Generation's director of Plant Operations. Before joining Sterling Energy, Gallagher spent 11 years with Duke Energy. During that time he worked in the nuclear group at McGuire Nuclear Station and, as a charter member of Duke/Fluor Daniel, in the non-regulated side of Duke. He left the company in 1999 after serving as director and plant manager for one of the most remote utilities in the world located in Irian Jaya, Indonesia. Gallagher is a mechanical engineer and began his professional career in the United States Naval Nuclear Power Program where he served on board the USS Batfish (SSN681).

As corporate secretary and assistant general counsel, Clark coordinates and records all meetings of the board of directors and its committees, serves as a liaison between the directors and the chief executive officer of the company and oversees corporate governance and corporate structuring for the company's domestic and international subsidiaries. Previously, Clark was a managing attorney with Sempra Energy, where he oversaw a variety of domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, development projects and international legal issues. He was also principally responsible for corporate governance and corporate structuring matters for the domestic and international subsidiaries of Sempra Global, the umbrella for the company's businesses operating in competitive energy markets. Prior to joining Sempra Energy in 2000, Clark was an attorney with the law firm of Cooley Godward LLP. Mr. Mockler, an associate at Hennigan, Bennett & Dorman LLP, specializes in complex business litigation and has broad experience in state, federal and international litigation and arbitration. Mr. Mockler is a member of a team of HBD attorneys representing a subsidiary of Sempra Energy, a fortune 500 energy services company, in a series of disputes with the California Department of Water Resources over a long-term energy purchase agreement. He has also represented the founder of mortgage lender DiTech in proceedings against a Big Four accounting company regarding flawed tax advice. Since 2006, Mr. Mockler has been involved in the representation of San Diego Gas & Electric Company in litigation seeking refunds from governmental entities for overcharges on sales of power during the California energy crisis. Prior to joining HBD, Mr. Mockler worked for the Amsterdam office of London-based Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where he practiced international commercial arbitration. Mr. Mockler's work at Freshfields included obtaining a $60 million arbitration award on behalf of a Dutch investor in a Russian steel mill and obtaining a favorable settlement on behalf of an Indian project development company in an arbitration dispute with major oil companies. Before going abroad, Mr. Mockler was an associate with O'Melveny & Myers LLP in Los Angeles.
