Asma Hasan serves as HealthTrio's senior vice president, corporate counsel and chief privacy and security officer. In this role she is responsible for overseeing all the legal aspects of contract negotiations, preparation, administration and compliance. She is also responsible for shareholder and investor relations. Before joining HealthTrio, Hasan served as an associate in the San Francisco, New York and Hong Kong offices of Clifford Chance LLP. Previously she held various positions with US West (now Qwest), Qual-Med (now Health Net) and Koncilja and Koncilja PC, a Colorado-based law firm. Hasan received her law degree from the New York University School of Law and bachelor's degree in American Studies and Religion from Wellesley College (Wellesley, Mass.).

As vice president and chief financial officer, Dennis Scruggs is responsible for the company's financial reporting and planning, capital formation, treasury functions, and internal control structure. Scruggs brings more than 25 years of professional experience to this role, including 17 years with Deloitte & Touche's Assurance Services practice and four years as a principal shareholder of Stockman Kast Ryan & Scruggs, a Colorado-based professional services firm. Before joining HealthTrio, he served as a consultant and chief financial officer for various companies, providing financial management services. Scruggs received his bachelor's degree in business administration/accounting from the University of Colorado. He became a certified public accountant in 1980.

Ritch Haynes brings more than 30 years of managed care experience to HealthTrio as executive vice president. He is responsible for expanding the market share of organizations that manage care and at-risk organizations using HealthTrio's products and services, as well as continuing to develop key alliances, partnerships and other relationships that strengthen HealthTrio's overall product and service offerings. Before joining HealthTrio, Haynes served as senior vice president and chief information officer for Encino, Ca.-based Answer Financial Inc., a developer of a leading e-commerce platform for distributing insurance and related financial services via the Internet. Prior to his position at Answer Financial, he was a member of the International Technology and Healthcare Practices of Heidrick and Struggles, a premier executive search firm. Haynes also held president and CEO positions with Medical Communication Networks Inc., a joint venture of Integrated Medical Systems and UniHealth America, and with Professional Healthcare Systems, a leading vendor of hospital information systems and services, now owned by Keane Inc. Haynes received his bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics from Eastern Michigan University.

As Vice President of Product Marketing and Sales Support, Mr. Syposs provides leadership for all strategic marketing and public relations activity for HealthTrio, as well as broad sales support. He also offers direction for tradeshows, RFI's & RFP's, market research, public relations, and marketing materials and collateral. With his comprehensive knowledge of HealthTrio's products and the health plan industry, Mr. Syposs is uniquely qualified to communicate the value of our products to the industry and prospective clients. Mr. Syposs previously served HealthTrio as Vice President of Electronic Commerce. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Syposs has served in executive level positions with HMOs and technology companies. Experience in selecting and implementing technology solutions as CIO for Independent Health bred a thorough understanding of the elements that separate technology "systems" from true Solutions, shaping Mr. Syposs' vision for HealthTrio. Mr. Syposs has published several works on health management technology and has frequently appeared as a speaker for national health care and technology conventions. He received his BS in Information Technology.

M. Kathleen Behrens, Ph.D. , has served as a director of AVI since March 31, 2009. Dr. Behrens' career spans the financial services and biotechnology sectors, as well as healthcare policy. Dr. Behrens served as a member of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) from 2001 to early 2009 and she was Chair of PCAST's Subcommittee on Personalized Medicine. She has served as a public-market biotechnology securities analyst as well as venture capitalist focusing on healthcare, technology and related investments. She was instrumental in the founding of several biotechnology companies including Protein Design Labs, Inc. and COR Therapeutics, Inc., and more recently was a Director of Abgenix, Inc., which was acquired by Amgen in 2006. She worked for Robertson Stephens & Co. from 1983 through 1996, serving as a general partner and managing director. Dr. Behrens continued in her capacity as a General Partner for selected venture funds for RS Investments from 1996 through today. From 1997 to 2005, she was a director of the Board on Science, Technology and Economic Policy (STEP) for the National Research Council, and from 1993 to 2000 she was a director, President, Chair and Past Chair of the National Venture Capital Association. Dr. Behrens holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis.
