Mr. Whittenburg was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in August 2007. Previously Mr. Whittenburg served as President of our Urology Division, a post he held beginning in June 2006. Prior to this time, he served as President of our Specialty Vehicle Manufacturing Division from December 2005 until its sale in July 2006 and was our General Counsel and Senior Vice President–Development from March 2004 until June 2006. Previously Mr. Whittenburg practiced law at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where he specialized in corporate and securities law. Mr. Whittenburg is also a CPA.

Mr. Rusk joined HealthTronics in August 2000 as Corporate Controller and was named Vice President in June 2002. Dr. Wheelock is a founding director of HealthTronics Surgical Services, Inc. He has served as a director since 1996 and is the former Chairman. In March 2006, Dr. Wheelock was appointed Chief Medical Advisor to HealthTronics. From 1979 until 1996, Dr. Wheelock was a practicing, board-certified urologist in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mr. Lindgren has served as a director of the Company since January 2003.
