Pekka is co-founder and CEO of Blyk. Previously Pekka was President of Nokia Corporation (1999-2005) and President of Nokia Mobile Phones (1992-1998). Pekka has had a broad ranging role within Nokia Group. During his 20 year long career with Nokia, he has been pivotal in identifying strategic new business ideas and stimulating long term growth opportunities. He has also spearheaded the development of new business and innovative surveying. Pekka serves on the boards of SAP AG and Poyry Oyj. A highly respected individual Pekka is an honorary Doctor in Tech.h.c, Tampere and Science h.c, Helsinki, and is a Knight, 1st Class of the Order of the White Rose of Finland.

Brad Garlinghouse is the Senior Vice President of Communications, Communities, and Front Doors at Yahoo!. He oversees the company's communications and communities products, as well as the primary starting points to the Yahoo! network. These services represent the most popular destinations on the web and include Yahoo! Mail, the most popular webmail product in the world, Yahoo.com, the world's most heavily trafficked webpage, My Yahoo!, the most popular personalized start page on the web, and a number of other services including Yahoo! Messenger with Voice, Yahoo! Groups, Yahoo! Photos, Yahoo! Avatars, and Yahoo! 360, the company's social publishing tool. Brad joined Yahoo! in March 2003 as Vice President of Communications Products. In this role, Brad led Yahoo! Mail's growth into the world's leading webmail service, drove the introduction of innovative new features in Yahoo! Messenger including high-quality voice calling, and much more. Prior to joining Yahoo!, Brad served as chief executive officer of Dialpad Communications, one of the world's largest providers of PC-based telecommunications services. Earlier in his career, Brad led venture capital investments in software, communications and Internet-based businesses at @Ventures. He also spent time in product and marketing leadership positions at @Home Network, and SBC Communications. Brad earned a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University, and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Kansas. In his free time, Brad participates in triathlons and is a private pilot. He lives in Menlo Park with his wife and two children.

As vice president of North American sales, Frank Baffi is responsible developing strategic customer relationships, building strong sales channels and executing go-to-market strategies to grow HelloSoft revenue. Mr. Baffi has 20 years of director and VP-level experience managing nationwide and global organizations at AMD, Cadence, Cirrus Logic, Dialog Semiconductor and startup companies. As director of sales, Americas for Dialog, Mr. Baffi developed and managed corporate relationships with Adtran, E-Ink, Flextronics, Intel, Motorola, Qualcomm and RIM and was responsible for nearly a third of Dialog's total revenue. As vice president of multimedia sales and marketing, at NXT, plc, he established successful audio IP licensing programs at 3M, Acer, IBM, Hitachi, NEC, Philips, and TDK and generated over half of NXT's total revenue.

As Vice President and General Manager of the Wireless Group for HelloSoft, Mr. Aldaz is responsible for the overall design, development, sales and marketing of HelloSoft's wireless products and technologies. Mr. Aldaz joins HelloSoft from Sigma Communications, Inc., a wireless semiconductor company where he was President and CEO, which was acquired in 2003. He successfully developed and delivered the industry's first combined Cellular/WiFi baseband modem using proprietary DSP core technology. Prior to Sigma Communications, Mr. Aldaz held various technical and executive management positions at VLSI Technology, Philips Semiconductors, National Semiconductor, Swisscom, Ascom, and Aptix Corporation. Mr. Aldaz has successfully managed all aspects of the cellular handset and semiconductor businesses from product strategy and vision, product development through customer design wins and order fulfillments. Mr. Aldaz holds 42 patents in the field of low-power wireless system design, digital integrated circuit design, and digital signal processing. He has served on the Board of several start-up companies, has authored many publications, and has given multiple presentations to worldwide industry groups and conferences. He is a member of numerous technical and science honor societies. Mr. Aldaz received his Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Communication Systems from the Swiss Federal Polytechnic Institute of Technology and the Eurecom Institute of Technology in France, where he also earned a Master in Business Administration. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Microtechnology from the Swiss Federal Polytechnic Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland.

Eric Buatois has served on our board of directors since January 2004 and as chairman of the board of directors since July 2004. Mr. Buatois has been a managing director of Sofinnova Ventures since 2001. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Buatois served as general manager of the communication solution business unit of Hewlett-Packard. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Buatois served as vice president and chief operating officer of Ericsson Hewlett-Packard Telecommunication AB, a global joint venture specializing in network management systems and billing systems for service providers. From 1987 to 1994, Mr. Buatois led product strategy for the telecom systems business unit of Hewlett-Packard in France, which encompassed global divisions. While at Hewlett-Packard in France, Mr. Buatois completed the young manager masters degree in business administration program at INSEAD in Fountainebleau, France in 1991. Mr. Buatois earned his master of science in computer science and communications engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications in Paris, France.
