Mr. Wurtzebach is responsible for the strategic portfolio planning and the overall management of Henderson Global Investors (North America) Inc. As Property CIO he works directly with the firm's property portfolio managers developing client investment strategies. He joined Henderson in 1999 in his current capacity. Prior to joining Henderson, Charlie was President and Chief Executive Officer of Heitman Capital Management. Education: Ph.D., Finance, University of Illinois at Urbana; MBA, Finance, Northern Illinois University; BSC, Finance, De Paul University.

Shirley joined Henderson in April 2001 as Director of Investment Operations to focus on processes and procedures within asset management. Since then, her role has broadened to include management of third party administration relationships, principally BNP Paribas, Henderson Operations, IT, Legal & Compliance and HR. Shirley is a chartered accountant and corporate treasurer and has worked in the City for 25 years. Prior to Henderson, she was Chief Operating Officer at Morley Fund Management (Aviva) where she was responsible for two major integrations - Norwich Union and General Accident.

Andrew Formica has been in the fund management industry since 1993. He has held various senior roles at Henderson Global Investors in the past 10 years. Just prior to being appointed Chief Executive of Henderson Group in November 2008, he was joint Managing Director of Henderson Global Investor's Listed Assets business (since September 2006) and Head of Equities (since September 2004). He was a member of the Senior Management Team since 2004, and previously co-head of Equities since 2002 and Deputy Chief Investment Officer, Insurance and Unitised Funds since 2000. Mr Formica was director of core funds and derivatives when Henderson merged with AMP Asset Management in October 1999.

Mike is Managing Director, UK & Asia at Henderson Global Investors. He is responsible for all Henderson's UK investment products and services, which include open ended funds, investment trusts, internal group clients and institutional. He is responsible for Henderson's Asian operations which are centred on Singapore and include distribution arrangements with key local distributors in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Mike was responsible for the integration of NPI Asset Management into Henderson during 1999 and was acting Chief Executive and Chief Investment Officer of NPI Asset Management during this period. Mike arrived in the UK from New Zealand in 1996 and was Chief Investment Officer of AMP Asset Management prior to the merger with Henderson Investors. He was Managing Director of AMP Asset Management New Zealand prior to his move to the UK.

Alex Crooke is a co-portfolio manager of the Fund and is Director of Investment Trusts. He joined Henderson in 1994 as Associate Director of Investment Trusts. Mr. Crooke has over 15 years of investment industry experience.

Mr. Dranfield is responsible for the mutual fund, managed account and sub-advisory businesses in North America. He is also a current member of the Henderson Global Investors (North America) Inc. Board of Directors. Mr. Dranfield joined Henderson Global Investors in 1995, as Director, International Business Development. Prior to joining Henderson, Mr. Dranfield worked at HSBC Asset Management as global head of Institutional Marketing and as an Associate at Booz Allen & Hamilton where he provided strategic consulting advice to numerous global financial services organizations. He is also series 6 and 26 licensed and has more than 14 years experience in the investment industry. Education: BS, Commerce, Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Ian Warmerdam is Co-Head of Technology and the portfolio manager for the Global Technology Fund. He joined Henderson in 2001 as Fund Manager, Technology Investment.

Chris Wozniak is head of global bonds and currencies at Henderson. Mr. Wozniak will generally oversee the management of the Fund and will also be responsible for overseeing the allocation of the Fund's asset sectors. He has been with Henderson since 1990 and has over 20 years of experience.

Michael Moule (age 60), was a director of Investment Trusts at Henderson Global Investors until 30 June 2003. He is a director of Old Mutual South Africa Trust plc, Foreign & Colonial Eurotrust plc and Montanaro UK Smaller Companies Trust plc. He was appointed to the Board in 1997.

Christopher Jonas (chairman), is a past president of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He has over 45 years' experience in the property sector, principally with Jones Lang Wootton and Drivers Jonas. He has held a number of directorships, including Canary Wharf Group plc, British Railways Board, BR Property Board, Bank of Scotland (England), Port of London Authority and Chelsfield Partners LLP. He has provided strategic property advice to a number of institutions, including BAA plc, Brixton plc, Morgan Stanley, Newton Investment Management Ltd and Royal Bank of Scotland. He is chairman of Goldsmiths, University of London and a trustee of the Westminster Abbey Staff Pension Fund.

David Thomas FIA was appointed as a director in 2000. He was Director and General Manager of Investments of The Equitable Life Assurance Society until April 2001. For two years from August 1996 he was Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Association of British Insurers and at that time was also a member of the Hampel Committee on Corporate Governance. In addition he sat on the Institutional Investors Advisory Group of The Stock Exchange for several years and was a member of the Lord Chancellor's Honorary Investment Advisory Committee (which assisted the Public Trustee). Currently, he is a trustee of the pension fund for staff of Westminster Abbey and is Chairman of the Abbey's Investment Committee, as well as being an investment adviser to the Staffordshire County Council Pension Fund.

Francis Sumner (Senior Independent Director) was appointed as a director in 1997. He spent most of his working life as a City solicitor specialising in corporate finance. He was for many years a partner in Norton Rose, Bankers having been one of his plc clients. He is currently the deputy chairman of the Crown Agents, Vice Chairman and a council and executive committee member of the City and Guilds of London Institute and a council member of the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance.

Mr Cornish is a member of the Nomination Committee and the Management Engagement Committee. Until his retirement in 2004 he was a senior partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he led the firm's services to the investment trust industry for over 15 years. He is a director of Finsbury Technology Trust plc, and Strategic Equity Capital plc.

Patrick Stevenson joined Atlas Capital Limited in 1996 as Chief Executive. His career in financial services spans more than 35 years, some 25 of which were spent with Banque Paribas. He joined the bank in 1969, formed Paribas Capital Markets in 1984 and became global head of Paribas Capital Markets and a member of the bank's executive committee in 1993. Patrick Stevenson is a graduate of the Eidgenossische Technische Hochschule, Zurich and an MBA graduate of the European Institute of Business Administration.

Richard Brewster FCA was appointed as a director in 1991 an became chairman in 2005. Having qualified as a chartered accountant he has spent the last 30 years in industry. From 1983 he was Chief Executive Officer of D.S. Smith plc until 1991 when he became Chief Executive Officer of Jarvis Porter plc until 1998. Since then he has extended his interests in private equity investment and was until November 2005 Chief Executive Officer of Interbrandpro Holding GmbH, an international promotional print and speciality board business. His other non-executive interests are as a consultant to Pridie Brewster Corporate Finance and as Chairman of Merrill Lynch British Smaller Companies Trust plc.

Richard Burns became a Director of the Company at the time of the listing of its shares in 1981. He read Modern History at Oxford University and then Law at Edinburgh and qualified as a solicitor in 1971, becoming a W.S in 1972. In 1973 he joined Baillie Gifford as a trainee investment manager, becoming a Partner in 1977 and was joint Senior Partner from 1999 until his retiral in April 2006. He is a Director of EP Global Opportunities Trust PLC, Standard Life Equity Income Trust PLC, The Bankers Investment Trust PLC and is Chairman of Euronova European Smaller Companies Fund. He is aged 60.

Richard Killingbeck was appointed as a director in December 2003. He has been involved in the financial services industry for 20 years, primarily as a fund manager. He has held a number of senior positions in the industry in London and New York including being Chief Executive Officer of Singer & Friedlander Investment Management. He is currently Managing Director of Close Investments Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Close Brothers Group PLC.

Robert Bischof was appointed to the Board in 1996. Mr Bischof is former chairman of McIntyre & King Limited and of Boss Group Limited, a subsidiary of Jungheinrich AG. He is on the board of the German British Forum, German British Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the UK Learning and Skills Council. He is also chairman of Vitalize Health Products Limited and a member of the advisory council of T-Systems Limited, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.
