Joseph H. Ritter, D.V.M. was appointed Executive Vice President, Global Business Operations in March 2006. From February 2004 to February 2006, he was Vice President, Marketing and International Business. Also during part of 2004 Dr. Ritter was responsible for our sales force. From October 2002 until February 2004, he was Heska s Vice President of International Business. From 1995 until 2002 he was President and owner of Veterinary Specialties, Inc., a veterinary products distribution company. From 1984 to 1995, Dr. Ritter held various senior positions at Mallinckrodt Veterinary, Inc. including Group Vice President, America and Asia. He holds a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois and a M.B.A. with an emphasis on international finance from the American Graduate School of International Management.

John R. Flanders was appointed Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in December 2006. Prior to joining Heska, Mr. Flanders held the same title at Orange Glo International, Inc., a privately held consumer products company, from 2002 to 2006. Mr. Flanders held various positions at Coors Brewing Company from 1988 to 2002, including Vice President, Deputy General Counsel. Mr. Flanders holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, College of Law and a B.A. from Colorado State University. Mr. Flanders is admitted to practice law in the State and Federal courts of Colorado.

Jennifer has a B.Sc. in Business Management and works as a veterinary technician for Heska Corporation. Donnie is a Firefighter at North Metro Fire Rescue and is a scout squad leader with HHC 157th Infantry Reg. They have four quarter horses and enjoy competing with Wyoming Rodeo Association, Colorado Professional Rodeo Association, Mile Hi Barrel Horse Association, AQHA, USTRC, ACTRA and, of course, PAFRA! This is their third year as PAFRA members and her third year as the Rocky Mountain Circuit Director. She also served as the association secretary in 2007.

Aged 48, Susan joined the Group in June 2005. She has 17 years' industry experience in development and worldwide registration of animal health pharmaceuticals having worked for multinational corporations including Virbac Corporation, Heska Corporation and Merck Research Laboratories. Her veterinary degree is from Texas A&M University and her MS is from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She was awarded Diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 1992. She has a number of Academic and Professional Honours including membership on the Board of Directors of the American Heartworm Society and the Executive Council of the American Academy of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics.

Timothy M. Buono has served on our board of directors since March 2000. Mr. Buono is a founder and member of Aura Equity Partners, LLC, a private equity firm focused on growth oriented investments in companies within the consumer driven health and personal care markets. Mr. Buono previously served as vice-president of Tullis-Dickerson & Co., Inc. from 1997 to 2008, a healthcare focused venture capital firm. During this time, he was also a partner in the general partner entities of its sponsored venture capital funds. From 1994 to 1997, he served as senior vice president, business development, for Health Partners, Inc., a healthcare services company. From 1993 to 1994, Mr. Buono served as director, business development, for Occupational Health Resources, Inc., a healthcare services company. From 1990 to 1993, Mr. Buono served as an associate of Tullis-Dickerson & Co., Inc. From 1988 to 1990, Mr. Buono was a financial and operations analyst for Shaffer-Clarke. Mr. Buono is a director of a number of privately-held companies. He received his B.A. in Economics from Connecticut College in 1988, and completed an Executive Program at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business in 2003.
