Jerry W. Throgmartin, our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and a Director, joined our company in 1975. He has served as our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since January 2003 and a Director since 1988. From 1999 to January 2003 he also served as our Chief Executive Officer and President. From 1988 to 1999 he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer. Other positions held by Mr. Throgmartin within our company include store manager, district manager, advertising director and Vice President of Store Operations.
Dennis L. May, our President, Chief Operating Officer and a Director, joined us in January 1999. From 1999 to January 2003 he served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2003. He became a Director in connection with the recapitalization. Mr. May joined our company as part of the acquisition of certain store leases of Sun TV & Appliance, Inc. where he held the positions of Vice President of Marketing, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Charles B. Young, our Chief Human Resources Officer, joined us in January 2008. Prior to joining our company, Mr. Young served as Vice President of Human Resources Store Operations and Supply Chain for the Sears Holding Company, a retail company, from 2006 to December 2007. He also served in roles as the Vice President of Human Resources – Sears Retail Stores and the Director of Human Resources while working for Sears.

Michael D. Stout, our Chief Administrative Officer, joined us in 1978. Mr. Stout was named Chief Administrative Officer in October 2005. Mr. Stout served as Chief Financial Officer from 1997 to September 2005. From 1987 to 1997 he served as Treasurer. From 1986 to 1987 he served as Controller.
Stephen R. Nelson, our Chief Information Officer, joined us in August 2006. From 2002 through July 2006 he served as a Vice President and Division President for Telamon Corporation, a transition resources corporation. From 1998 through 2001 he served as the CIO and Vice President of Marketing at AFFINA, a customer service outsourcing group. From 1995 through 2000 he was a principal at Meridian Consulting Group, a consulting group.

Jeffrey J. McClintic, our Senior Vice President of Appliance Merchandising, joined us in 1975. Mr. McClintic was named Vice President of Appliance Merchandising in 2001. Michael L. Smith served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Anthem, Inc., and its subsidiaries, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, from April 1999 until his retirement in January 2005. Anthem is one of the largest health benefits companies in the United States. From April 1996 to March 1998, he served as Chief Operating Officer and CFO of American Health Network, a former Anthem subsidiary that provided physician practice management services to 270 primary care practices in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. Prior to joining Anthem, Mr. Smith was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of transportation company, Mayflower Group, Inc. He began his business career in the Indianapolis office of Arthur Andersen & Co. after graduating from DePauw University in 1970. Mr. Smith currently serves on the Boards of Directors for several businesses, including Emergency Medical Services Corporation, Inc., the nation's largest emergency medical services provider; Kite Realty Group Trust, a real estate investment trust, or REIT; Vectren Corporation, a progressive energy-holding company; and HH Gregg Appliances, Inc., one of the nation's leading retailers of home appliances and consumer electronics. He also serves on the Boards of Finishmaster, Inc., and its parent, Ldi Ltd., and Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. Additionally, Mr. Smith serves on the Board of the Central Indiana Community Foundation and is a member of the Board of Trustees of DePauw University, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and Lumina Foundation for Education. Mr. Smith is a founding member of Cardinal Equity Partners, a mid-market private equity investment fund headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Charles P. Rullman has served as a Director since March 2005. Mr. Rullman joined Freeman Spogli & Co. in 1995 as a general partner and retired in December 2005. From 1992 to 1995, Mr. Rullman was a general partner of Westar Capital, a private equity investment firm specializing in middle market transactions. Prior to joining Westar, Mr. Rullman spent 20 years at Bankers Trust Company and its affiliate, BT Securities Corporation, where he was a Managing Director and Partner.

Mr. Roth joined Microsat Systems, Inc. (MSI) on January 1, 2002 as Senior Vice President of Business Operations. He was named President and Chief Operating Officer in September of 2002. Mr. Roth has more than 25 years experience in the aerospace industry and has demonstrated success in business acquisition and organizational leadership. Prior to joining MSI, Mr. Roth was Vice President of the Electronic Combat Business Unit for Litton Advanced Systems, a $200M division of Litton Industries, a Fortune 500 company. At Litton, Mr. Roth had profit and loss responsibility for the business unit and overall management responsibility for the engineering, program management and business development directorates of the company. Programs under his leadership included major defense systems such as the Joint Strike Fighter Electronic Warfare suite, ICAP III electronic warfare suite for the Navy E-2C carrier aircraft, the Advanced Integrated Electronic Warfare System (AIEWS) for Navy surface ships, as well as classified satellite payloads for U.S. military satellite prime contractors. Prior to his position as Vice President, Mr. Roth was the Director of Engineering for Litton Advanced Systems with responsibility over all engineering personnel and laboratories. Prior to joining Litton, Mr. Roth worked for Lockheed Martin as Director of Colorado Springs Operations for Lockheed Martin Electronic Defense Systems which provided direct support to the Air Force Space Command's Space Warfare Center at Schriever AFB. Mr. Roth has also held positions at Litton Amecom as Director of Advanced Programs, at HRB-Singer as Electronic Warfare Programs Manager, and at Hughes Aircraft as Manager of their Processor Architecture group. Mr. Roth holds an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois, and has attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education program in Management and Leadership and the Wharton Business School Executive Education Program in Finance. Mr. Roth currently serves on the board of directors for the Colorado Space Business Roundtable and is on the Advisory Board of the Colorado Space Grant Consortium.
