Founded in 1969 and headquartered in Batesville, IN, Hillenbrand Industries, Inc (NYSE: HB) sells hospital furniture and equipment, caskets, and cremation products. The company has two main subsidiaries. Hill-Rom makes hospital furniture, stretchers, surgical table accessories, and more. Batesville Casket makes caskets, urns, and display fixtures for funeral homes. The company has annual revenue of about $1.9 billion and employs about 9,800 people. In February 2006 the company released Version 6.1 of its NaviCareA«Patient Flow System which allows hospital executives and managers to measure key operational metrics, such as patient flow and capacity utilization, and visually manage their status via an executive management dashboard.

Previously, in a 33-year career at Procter & Gamble, Ketchum built several of that company's largest global brands, including Pampers, Bounty and Charmin.
