Hollinger buys Thomson Canadian titles
Thomson Newspapers Corporation and the rival Canadian media group Hollinger announced an agreement in principle to sell 19 paid-for Thomson newspapers in Ontario and Saskatchewan. The titles are among 21 Canadian newspapers that Thomson recently announced were for sale as part of a strategic reorganisation.
