Frank Blake is the chairman and CEO of The Home Depot. Prior to his appointment to this position in 2007, he served as vice chairman of the board of directors and executive vice president of the Company. He joined The Home Depot in 2002 as executive vice president, Business Development and Corporate Operations, and was responsible for real estate, store construction, credit services, strategic business development, growth initiatives, call centers and the Home Services business. Frank previously served as deputy secretary for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), a role similar to that of chief operating officer in the private sector. There, he was a leader in departmental policy decisions and managed DOE’s annual $19 billion budget. Prior to that, Frank served in a variety of executive roles at General Electric. As senior vice president, Corporate Business Development, he led all business development efforts, including worldwide mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and identification of strategic growth opportunities. As GE Power Systems’ head of business development, he played a key role in expanding that business into new technology and global marketplaces. He also held the position of general counsel at GE Power Systems. Frank’s public sector experience also includes having served as general counsel for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), deputy counsel to Vice President George Bush and law clerk to Justice Stevens of the U.S. Supreme Court. As of April 2004, Frank was elected to serve on the board of directors for Southern Company, a premier super-regional energy company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Annette Verschuren is president of The Home Depot Canada and Asia. She is responsible for the sales and operations of more than 160 stores in Canada and 12 stores in China. Carol B. Tomé has served as chief financial officer since May 2001 and was named executive vice president of corporate services at The Home Depot in January 2007. She provides leadership in the areas of real estate, store construction, financial services, strategic business development and growth initiatives. Kelly Barrett is senior vice president of enterprise program management for The Home Depot. Armando Codina, an active leader in civic and community activities, is currently the Chairman of Flagler Development Group. Greg Brenneman is Chairman of CCMP Capital and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to Burger King, Mr. Brenneman was named President and CEO of PwC Consulting in June 2002, where he restructured the business which led to a strategic sale to industry leader IBM, for over $3.5 billion, nearly double the anticipated IPO value and resulting in the creation of the largest IT services business in the world at that time. Mr. Brenneman joined Continental Airlines in 1995 as President, COO and a member of their Board of Directors. Mr. Brenneman helped lead the airline’s 53,000 employees as they completed one of the most dramatic turnarounds in American business history. In 1994 Mr. Brenneman founded Turnworks, Inc., his personal investment firm that focuses on corporate turnarounds. Prior to founding Turnworks, Mr. Brenneman was a Vice President for Bain and Company. Mr. Brenneman holds a Masters of Business Administration degree with distinction from Harvard Business School and a Bachelors Administration of Business in Accounting/Finance, summa cum laude from Washburn University of Topeka, Kansas.
