Starting with customer retention programs and customer acquisition marketing, Alan is now responsible for direct sales and increasing the value of Homestead's customer base. His passion is small businesses and their use of technology; early in his career he spent ten years with Wells Fargo Bank's small business banking division, and was a key member of the team that launched Intuit's Online Payroll service. When not working on innovative ways to help small businesses, Alan can usually be found brewing beer in his home brewery. Alan has a B.A. degree in English from UC Davis.
