Our major wood furniture product categories include home entertainment, home office, accent, dining, bedroom and bath furniture under the Hooker Furniture brand, and youth furniture sold under the Opus Designs by Hooker brand. Our residential upholstered seating companies include Cherryville, N.C.-based Bradington-Young, LLC, a specialist in upscale motion and stationary leather furniture, and Bedford, Va.-based Sam Moore Furniture LLC, a specialist in upscale occasional chairs with an emphasis on cover-to-frame customization. A Certified Public Accountant, he has been involved with various foundations in Martinsville-Henry County. He is the Director Emeritus for the Patrick Henry Community College Foundation, and has served on the King's Grant Retirement Community's Regional Board and the Memorial Hospital of Martinsville & Henry County's Board of Trustees. He currently serves as the President for the Hooker Educational Foundation. He also serves on boards for the Safetynet Foundation and the Virginia Museum of Natural History Foundation. In addition to his many civic commitments, Larry is passionate about his gardening and Virginia Tech football.
