Charles G. Raymond is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Horizon Lines, Inc. Appointed as the first Chairman of the Board of Directors of Horizon Lines, Inc. in October of 2006, he has served as President and Chief Executive Officer and as a director of Horizon Lines, Inc. and Horizon Lines Holding Corp. since July 2004 and of H-Lines Finance Holding Corp. since December 2004, and as a director of Horizon Lines, LLC since November 1999 and President and Chief Executive Officer of Horizon Lines, LLC since January 2000. Mr. Raymond has held various senior management positions during his 39-year transportation career, including Group Vice President-Operations and Senior Vice President and Chief Transportation Officer of Sea-Land Service, Inc. from 1994 through 1999. He was an Executive Officer of CSX Corporation from 1994 to 2003. From 1999 until 2003, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Sea-Land Service Domestic Shipping and CSX Lines, L.L.C. From May 2000 to May 2003, he served as Chairman of the Marine Transportation National Advisory Council (MTSNAC), which was established by the U.S. Secretary of Transportation. He is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy (1965) and the Harvard Business School Advanced Management program (1993).

Brian W. Taylor is President of Horizon Logistics, LLC. Prior to this role, he served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, of Horizon Lines, Inc. Mr. Taylor joined Sea-Land Service in 1984 as a Sales Representative in Montreal, Canada. Throughout his 21-year career with the company, he has assumed management positions in sales and operations in the U.S. and Asia, including General Manager, Buyers Consolidators LTD, based in Hong Kong. He received his Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Business Administration in Economics and Financial Management from Concordia University. Mr. Taylor previously served on the board of the Carole Kai Charities, Inc., that supports over 100 local non-profit organizations in Hawaii, and the Hawaii Children's Discovery Center.

John V. Keenan is President of Horizon Lines, LLC. Mr. Keenan is responsible for all core ocean transportation services in the Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Micronesia and Puerto Rico markets. These responsibilities will include all port, terminal and vessel operations, sales and marketing, and service delivery functions. A 27-year veteran of the transportation industry, he began his career in 1979 with the Marine Engineers Benevolent Association, sailing as a vessel's engineer. Mr. Keenan joined Sea-Land in 1983 and has succeeded in several leadership positions in both sales and operations, including his most current role of Senior Vice President and Chief Transportation Officer of Horizon Lines, Inc. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering from the State University of New York at Fort Schuyler and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. Mr. Keenan serves on the board of directors for the Pacific Maritime Association, the New York Shipping Association, United States Maritime Alliance, and the University of Denver Intermodal Transportation Institute. In 2006, he was named Chairman of the Board of Horizon Services Group.

Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasurer of Horizon Lines, Inc. Michael T. Avara is Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasurer for Horizon Lines, Inc. with responsibility for the treasury, risk management and investor relations functions of the company. Prior to rejoining Horizon Lines in March 2004, Mr. Avara spent 20 years in various accounting and finance functions at CSX Corporation and its subsidiaries, including seven years with the predecessor companies CSX Lines, LLC and Sea-Land Service Inc. Mr. Avara also spent three years in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand and is a certified public accountant, maintaining a license in the State of Maryland. Mr. Avara received both a Master of Business Administration in Finance degree and Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland.

Glen L. Moyer is Vice President and General Manager of the Vessel Operating Group at Horizon Lines, having held a similar position with Sea-Land since 1996. His responsibilities include all aspects of vessel operations, including crewing, repair, overhaul, regulatory compliance, and modification. Mr. Moyer has spent over 35 years in the ship operating and inspection field, having retired from the United States Coast Guard after 24 years in its vessel operating group and merchant vessel inspection program. He is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy. In addition, he has earned advanced degrees from the University of Michigan in both naval architecture and mechanical engineering. Mr. Moyer is a member of the American Bureau of Shipping and the National Cargo Bureau.

Joseph V. Breglia is Vice President and General Manager of the Ocean Transportation Services Group for Horizon Lines. His responsibilities include all aspects of vessel operations, including crewing, repair, overhaul, regulatory compliance, and modification. A 26-year veteran of the transportation industry, he began his career in 1980 with the Marine Engineers Benevolent Association, sailing as a vessel's engineer. Mr. Breglia joined Sea-Land in 1984 and has succeeded in several Port Engineering positions; most recently as Senior Port Engineer in charge of all vessel repairs, drydocking projects and overhauls for Horizon Lines. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering from the State University of New York at Fort Schuyler and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Training center. Mr. Breglia has served on the board of directors for the Society of Marine Port Engineers of New York since 2000 and currently serves as the group's chairman.

Kenneth L. Privratsky, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Alaska Division, came to Horizon Lines in 2003. Prior to joining Horizon Lines, Mr. Privratsky served in the United States Army, where he was appointed the rank of Major General. His final post was as Commander of the Military Traffic Management Command based in Alexandria, VA. As Commander of the Military Traffic Management Command, Mr. Privratsky was responsible for the surface transportation of all military forces and cargo for the Department of Defense, including port management in fifteen countries. During his two-and-a-half-year command of the Army surface transportation logistics unit, Mr. Privratsky replaced many government transportation and logistics procedures with commercial-like practices in areas such as service contracts with carriers, automated freight bill payment and business information systems, gaining him wide respect in the United States-flag carrier industry. He is a graduate of the Airborne, Ranger, and Jungle Schools and the School of Advanced Military Studies. He was a senior Service College Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University and has earned graduate degrees in English, business, and military science. In November 2004, Mr. Privratsky was inducted into the Defense Logistics Agency Hall of Fame. Mr. Privratsky currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation, the Armed Forces YMCA, Covenant House Alaska, Alaska's World Trade Center, and Special Olympics Alaska.

R. Kevin Gill is Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Gill's responsibilities include corporate brand management, communications and public relations as well as corporate pricing and marketing policy. Mr. Gill has been employed with Horizon Lines and its predecessor companies for over thirty years, having began his career in sales holding a number of sales and marketing related positions. In addition to his time in sales he has managed pricing and marketing for a number of areas including the Puerto Rico, Atlantic, Pacific, and Americas Tradelanes. Mr. Gill is a graduate of Lehigh University.

Robert S. Zuckerman is Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Horizon Lines, Inc. Mr. Zuckerman serves as Chief Legal Officer of the company, responsible for legal, regulatory and corporate affairs. He began with Sea-Land Service Inc. in 1976 and subsequently served as counsel for CSX Lines where he was promoted to general counsel in August of 2000. Prior to his employment with CSX Lines, Mr. Zuckerman served as Assistant Chief of the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, where he worked on the President’s Deregulation Task Force. He is a former Chairman of the Transportation and Industry Regulation Committees of the Antitrust Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Zuckerman is a graduate of Brandeis University and received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

Mar Labrador is Senior Vice President and General Manager, Hawaii and Micronesia Division of Horizon Lines, LLC, responsible for operational, sales and strategic activities of the Hawaiian market. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Labrador was General Manager, Micronesia, for Horizon Lines. Mr. Labrador joined Sea-Land in 1994 as a management trainee. Prior to his career with Sea-Land, he was a U.S. Naval Officer serving onboard fast-attack nuclear submarines in the Pacific theater. Mr. Labrador has a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Washington. Mr. Labrador serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters, an organization that supports the mentoring of at-risk youth.

Alex J. Mandl is 65 years old and has been a director of the company since March 2008. Mr. Mandl is currently the non-Executive Chairman of Gemalto, a company resulting from the merger of Axalto Holding N.V. and Gemplus International S.A. From June 2006 until December 2007, Mr. Mandl served as Executive Chairman of Gemalto. Before June 2006, Mr. Mandl was President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Gemplus, positions he held since August 2002. He also serves on the boards of Gemalto N.V., Dell Inc., Hewitt Associates, Inc. and Horizon Lines, Inc.

Catherine R. Walsh is Vice President, Controller and Assistant Treasurer of Horizon Lines. She is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for the Company and its business units. Mrs. Walsh joined Horizon Lines in 2005 from Muzak LLC, where she held the position of Treasurer. Prior to joining Muzak in 1999, Mrs. Walsh was in external financial reporting at Collins and Aikman and also spent three years in public accounting at KPMG LLP. Mrs. Walsh received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a certified public accountant.

Dan A. Colussy has served as a director of Horizon Lines, Inc., Horizon Lines Holding Corp. and H-Lines Finance Holding Corp. since April 2005. Mr. Colussy is the Chairman of Iridium Holdings LLC, the parent of Iridium Satellite LLC, and, since the inception of Iridium Satellite in December 2000, has served in senior management positions with these entities. From 1989 to 1999, he served as Chairman of CareFirst, Inc. From 1985 to 1997, Mr. Colussy served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of UNC Inc. From 1981 to 1984, he served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Pacific Airlines. From 1970 to 1980, Mr. Colussy served in numerous senior management positions at Pan American World Airways, including President and Chief Operating Officer from 1977 through 1980. Mr. Colussy holds a B.S. in Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.

Marcel Fournier has served as a director of the issuer and Horizon Lines Holding since July 2004, and a director of H-Lines Finance since December 2004. Mr. Fournier is a Senior Managing Director of Castle Harlan. He is also a board member of CHAAS Holdings LLC (the parent of Advanced Accessory Holdings Corporation, which is a parent of CHAAS Acquisitions LLC), APEI Holdings Corporation (the parent of APEI Acquisition Corp., which is the parent of Associated Packaging Enterprises, Inc.) and Gravograph Industrie International. Prior to joining Castle Harlan in 1995, Mr. Fournier held various positions, including Managing Director, at the investment banking group of Lepercq, de Neuflize & Co., Inc. from 1981 to 1995. From 1979 to 1981, Mr. Fournier was Assistant Director of the United States office of the agency of the French Prime Minister. Mr. Fournier graduated as a Civil Engineer from the Ecole Speciale des Travaux Publics in Paris, France. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, and his Master of Economics from the Universite de la Sorbonne in Paris.

Thomas M. Hickey has served as a director of the issuer, Horizon Lines Holding and H-Lines Finance since April 2005. Mr. Hickey is a Vice President of Castle Harlan. He is also a board member of BKH Acquisition Corp. (the parent of Caribbean Restaurants, LLC) and BTAC Acquisition, LLC (the parent of Baker & Taylor, Inc.). Prior to joining Castle Harlan in 2003, Mr. Hickey was an associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Credit Suisse First Boston from 2000 through 2002. Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Robinson-Humphrey in Atlanta. Mr. Hickey received his bachelor s degree with distinction from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar, and holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.

Mr. Storrs was appointed to the board in June of 2007. Mr. Storrs is currently Senior Executive Director, Corporate Planning and Control and a Director of Takata Corporation, Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Storrs has held numerous senior management positions with Takata and affiliated companies since Takata acquired Burlington Industries in 1988. From 1998 to 2005, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer, and from 1995 to 1998, he was Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of TK Holdings Inc. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Storrs was President and Chief Operating Officer of Inflation Systems Inc., and from 1988 to 1993, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Highland Industries. Prior to these positions, he was Vice President of Operations and Controller of Burlington Industrial Fabrics. Mr. Storrs earned his BA in economics and mathematics at Yale College and an MBA from the Darden School of the University of Virginia.

Admiral Clark was elected to the board in June of 2007. He retired from the Navy in September 2005 following 37 years of distinguished military service. Admiral Clark's service with the Navy included command of ships, two destroyer squadrons, the Atlantic Fleet's Anti-Submarine Warfare Training Center, a Carrier Battle Group, the Second Fleet, NATO's Striking Fleet, and the Atlantic Fleet. He then served in the Pentagon as the Chief of Naval Operations and a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Admiral Clark is a member of the Board of Directors of Raytheon Company, Rolls Royce North America and Standard Research Institute International, and is on the World Board of Governors of the USO. He is serving on the Defense Policy Board, the advisory boards with @Monster.com and Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc., is a Senior Executive Advisor for Booz Allen Hamilton, and serves on the Executive Committee of Military Ministry. Admiral Clark earned his undergraduate degree from Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri and an MBA from the University of Arkansas.
