Horizon Wimba Inc.

Bruno Van Haetsdaele, who co-founded Wimba in September 1999, currently manages Horizon Wimba.s research and development teams. Before the combination with HorizonLive, he was heavily involved in Research and Development projects. He wrote Wimba's patent in 2000, designed and developed various web-based voice communication tools. He received his masters in computer networking from Institut Eurecom and Telecom Paris, one of the most prestigious engineering schools in France, and also conducted research and development in the fields of distributed computing, smart agents, and multimodal interfaces at Stanford Research Institute in Silicon Valley.

As CFO, Ira is responsible for Horizon Wimba's finance, accounting, human resources and administrative functions. Ira brings over 20 years of experience including the last 15 years at high-tech start-ups that include two IPO's, two high-yield debt offerings, nine private equity offerings, four acquisitions and various bank financings. Prior to joining Horizon Wimba, Ira worked at Dynamicsoft, a telecommunications software company in New Jersey, where he served as corporate controller from 1999 until 2004. While there he helped raise money through several private equity offerings, before assisting in the sale of the company to Cisco Systems. During his tenure, the Company grew from $1 million in annual sales, to over $30 million. Ira previously served as controller at Juno Online Services, an internet service provider in New York, from 1998 to 1999 where he helped the company go public. As the Controller from 1996 to 1998 at Destia, an international telecommunications service provider, he helped raise $325 million though the issuance of high-yield bond offerings, as the company grew from $20 million to $200 million. From 1989 until 1996 Ira held several finance positions of increasing responsibility at AXS-One, an ERP financial software company, culminating with the position of director of finance. Prior to that, Ira worked five years at Stanley Marks & Co., a medium size CPA firm in New York. Ira holds a BBA in Accounting from Pace University in New York.

Steven D. Kann is responsible for the overall technical strategy for the design and underlying infrastructures of Horizon Wimba's products. He is also the lead architect of Horizon Wimba.s products, manages the development process, and proudly serves as an industry expert on Section 508 accessibility. His diverse experience prior to HorizonLive includes positions at i/o 360 digital design, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, The Board of Education of the City of New York and was founder and president of Adap-Tech. Most notably, Steve's commitment to the disabled is a common thread throughout his career. He worked with disabled children at the Board of Education and founded Adap-Tech to build electronic communication aids for handicapped children, a need he identified after evaluating the inferior products then available. He was the architect behind HorizonLive 3.0 which introduced new-to-the market accessibility features into the virtual classroom product.

Jeff manages product strategy and design for Horizon Wimba's suite of products. He has been involved in K-12 and higher education for nearly 10 years, primarily in curriculum design and eLearning, with additional experience in publishing and business development. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Technology Development at the Princeton Review, where he managed the development of eLearning and student management technologies. He has lived and taught in France as well as the US, and has experience with Asian and Middle East markets.

Aaron Bond has been with Horizon Wimba for three years and oversees the company's training, implementation, and support teams.

Mack Brown has over 20 years of experience in developing assessment software for educators. In March of 1983, Mr. Brown co-founded Brownstone Research Group. Since that time, he has designed and developed over a dozen assessment systems and has been involved in every aspect of the assessment software business. Brownstone's products are used by over 100,000 instructors every year on multiple platforms. Each year, millions of students take tests that are delivered on or printed by Brownstone software. Under Mr. Brown, Brownstone has been a pioneer in the assessment software industry. The company delivered the first editable question banks to the industry, developed the industry's first algorithm-based questions, and created production tools that have radically improved the speed with which turn-key question bank systems are made available to instructors. A proponent of open standards, Mr. Brown serves on the IMS QTI team. He holds a BA in physics and economics from Berry College.

Matt Wasowski has worked in a Marketing capacity at Horizon Wimba since June 2000. Most notably, he created and still produces and moderates the Horizon Wimba Desktop Lecture Series, the only weekly online presentation program which brings experts from education and technology to the desktops of thousands of educators worldwide. Matt has spoken at many conferences throughout the country and was a keynote presenter at the TCC 2003 annual online conference. Matt has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, an MFA from The New School University, and has written professionally in several capacities.

Keith is a technical executive with over 10 years of management experience in internet startup organizations. He is one of the thought leaders in the educational technology industry, and has pioneered numerous technological advances in the field. He has been both a Brandon Hall Award winner and judge, and is currently employed as a Product Manager with HorizonWimba. Previous experience includes positions at VCampus Corporation, ITC Learning, and Hughes Training, Inc.
