Previously, Dr. Jim served as the Chief Psychology Officer for True.com an online relationship service where he developed several proprietary online instruments to assess long-term compatibility, helped build the content and identity of the True U Magazine, as well as helped bring professional testing standards to cyberspace. Before True.com, Houran served as an Instructor of Clinical Psychiatry at Southern Illinois School of Medicine, and worked as a therapist and personality researcher. He received a doctorate in psychology from the University of Adelaide and completed extracurricular graduate work for the psychology department of the University of Illinois, Springfield, where he received his master's in clinical psychology. Dr. Houran received a bachelor's in psychology from Benedictine University. Currently, Dr. Jim is the President of 2020Skills.com at HVS International the preeminent global provider of hospitality consulting services. There, he spearheads the team of experts who provide clients with assessment tools that facilitate effective and efficient HR screening, selection, and training. In addition to providing professional guidance to members, his responsibilities include managing the company's assessment tests, educating audiences and conducting research on employer-employee relationships in the hospitality industry.

Philipp has been employed by HVS International in the position as Consultant and Valuation Analyst since 2006, specializing in hotel valuation and consultancy (www.hvsinternational.com). Since joining HVS, Philipp has conducted a number of valuations, feasibility studies and consultancy assignments, mainly in Central and Eastern Europe. Philipp previously worked as a mystery shopper, based in Bangkok, Thailand, and assessed international hotels in the four-star and five-star segments in over 50 countries. Philipp has six years' operational experience, working in various positions at the Colombi Hotel, Germany, Chateau de Bagnols and Troisgros, France, The Mark Hotel, New York and Marbella Club Hotel, Spain. He holds an MBA from IMHI (Essec Business School, Paris and Cornell University) and spent one semester at Cornell University in 2003.
Mr. Feldman is senior vice president of Jonathan Nehmer + Associates. He has expertise in all facets of project management, architecture and interior design, design management, and construction administration. His experience includes work as architect and owner's representative in the direction and management of commercial, institutional, educational, residential, and hospitality projects. Complementing his education in architecture, Mr. Feldman completed his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University and is a member of the Maryland Bar. Prior to joining Jonathan Nehmer + Associates, Inc., Mr. Feldman worked on the feasibility, design, and construction of diverse projects including hotels, high-rise commercial corporate headquarters, educational facilities, civic projects, and housing development projects over the past 12 years. His experience includes managing construction of several $5-10 million projects at Hess Construction Company, where he held the position of project manager in 1995. In that capacity, he developed the construction schedules, bid work to subcontractors, managed the daily construction in the field, and prepared monthly payment requests. From 1988 through 1994 he was employed as an associate with Grimm and Parker P.C., where he was responsible for the architecture and construction administration of numerous projects ranging in size from $1.5 million to $22 million. In addition, he was responsible for quality control and specifications for all projects. From 1986 to 1988 he was employed by Raymond E. Maritz and Sons in St. Louis, Missouri, where he was a project architect. His duties included design and construction of a 16-story, $40 million corporate headquarters, as well as several smaller projects. He received his bachelor and master of Architecture degrees from the Washington University in St. Louis and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Mr. Feldman held the position of director of the Potomac Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
