Ravi Chandrasekaran is vice president of product at Hotwire, overseeing the company's product management and business development teams. He is also responsible for the design and function of the interface that guides the customer experience for the Hotwire site. Most recently, Ravi served as senior director of product management, where he introduced the innovation lab, a Hotwire initiative to expand research and development opportunities critical to the success of the company. Prior to joining Hotwire in 2001, Ravi worked at Viant Inc., a San Francisco-based Internet consulting firm, building software solutions for financial services and electronics clients. Ravi also led management consulting projects focused on pricing strategy for Fortune 500 accounts at Talus Solutions and was a lead software engineer at Sabre Decision Technologies. Ravi received a B.S. in Mathematical & Computational Sciences and Biological Sciences from Stanford University.

Anthony is joint founder of Hotwire and is in charge of the company's operations. This includes the company's HR, technology and finance operations. Anthony started Hotwire with Kristin in September 2000 following a career as head of finance at Shandwick plc in Europe. Prior to that Anthony was the finance director at Paragon plc, a London PR agency. Anthony joined the PR industry from a career as a management consultant specialising in SMEs and an accountant at KPMG. Anthony is a classics graduate of University College, University of Oxford, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Ute is responsible for client service and the development of Hotwire in Germany. Ute has broad experience in technology PR including work for companies such as SEGA, Inmarsat and Olivetti. Prior to joining Hotwire, Ute was founder and managing director of Net2b and prior to that was the head of the technology group of Manning Selvage & Lee. Ute studied German literature and media sciences at the Justus Liebig Universitat in Giessen and graduated as Magister Artium.

Lillie Hitchcock Coit bequeathed a third of her fortune for the beautification of San Francisco. Coit Tower, a round tower featuring colorful murals and an elevator ascending to one of the city's best viewpoints, is the result of that gift.
