Houston Food Bank

Brian Greene is president and CEO of the Houston Food Bank, a non-profit organization that feeds the hungry by seeking food donations and distributing them to 400 hunger relief programs in 18 southeast Texas counties. Brian has 18 years of non-profit management experience, including 12 years as the Executive Director at Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana and five years at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Knoxville, Tennessee. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Humboldt State University and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Tennessee. Mr. Greene has held numerous elective positions of responsibility for the national organization, America's Second Harvest - the Nation's Food Bank Network. Mr. Greene is a 2001 graduate of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute.

As a shareholder and president of VOLLMER, Carolyn Mayo oversees account service throughout the firm, bringing her expertise in branding and multi-audience communication to bear on account planning and implementation. During her years at VOLLMER, she has personally directed accounts in the consumer, real estate, business-tobusiness, medical and technology arenas. Prior to joining VOLLMER, Carolyn was an independent public relations consultant for both retail and business-to-business clients. Previously, she was public relations manager for the Houston district of J.C. Penney, involved in the repositioning of the national retailer. She also served in a marketing capacity at several retail centers. She is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America. She is a member of the PRSA Counselor's Academy and has held many leadership positions in the Houston Chapter, including chapter president. She has contributed many pro bono hours in support of arts organizations in the Gulf Coast area and has been recognized as one of the city's top 50 woman business owners. Carolyn also serves on the board of the Houston Food Bank. Carolyn holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Louisiana State University.
