Kay Ramsey - passed away from Cancer a couple of years ago. Ironically I had the opportunity to carry the Olympic Torch back in '96 as it passed through Indiana. I passed the flame to Kay which was an awesome experience for both of us...I don't know if you are familiar with how the flame was passed across the country that year but essentially it was the official flame that began the Olymics in Los Angeles in 1996. Kay told me that she was told on 3 separate occasions that she only had one month to live...she ended up living approximately 15 years in and out of remission. She was a pretty incredible gal. She did get married to a man by the last name of Deluise and he works as an administrator at Howard Community Hospital.

Dr. Beuchamp received her bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island and her doctorate of naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University of Natural Health Sciences. A nutritional anthropologist by training, Ms. Knittel works as a nutritional counselor and health writer. She writes regularly about nutrition, alternative medicine, traditional diets, yoga, and fitness for publications such as Natural Health, Yoga Journal, Body & Soul, Fitness, Gourmet, and Let's Live. She is also the author of the User's Guide to Natural Remedies for Depression (Basic Health Publications, 2003).

Mr. Wall owns Martin Wall Botanical Services, a company that supplies botanical images for educational and commercial use. His images have been seen in Natural Pharmacy, Herbs for Health, Nutrition Science News, and many other magazines and books. Along with his wife, Deetra, Mr. Wall has also acted as director of the Southeastern School of Herbal Studies from his home base in Greensboro, NC.

He has written 13 books on herbs, including A Field Guide to Medicinal Plants (with Dr. James A. Duke) (Houghton Mifflin's Peterson Series, 2000), Herbs for Your Health (Interweave Press, 1996), and Echinacea-Nature's Immune Enhancer (Healing Arts Press, 1991). Some of his clients include; Small Planet Foods, Muir Glen, Florida Crystals, Nestle International, Cross & Blackwell, Cascadian Farms and Rapunzel Pure Organic Chef Petusevsky is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute Of America in Hyde Park, New York where he was awarded a fellowship and served as Chef Instructor.

Ms. Seymour writes on a variety of a topics, including health, travel, and education, and has contributed to Transitions Abroad, Backhome Magazine, the New York Times, among other magazines and newspapers. She also works with not-for-profits and entrepreneurs on their communications efforts, such as public awareness campaigns and promotional materials.
