"Pradman P. Kaul is President and Chief Executive Officer of HCI (NASDAQ: HUGH). He holds numerous patents and has published articles and papers on a variety of technical topics concerning satellite communications. In October 2004, Mr. Kaul was inducted into the National Academy of Engineering. Mr. Kaul was selected as a “Distinguished Engineering Alumnus” of the University of California, Berkeley in 1999 and “Distinguished Alumnus” at George Washington University, Washington DC in 2005. He was awarded the IEEE Third Millennium medal in 2000. "

Grant Barber is the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Hughes Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: HUGH) and its subsidiary Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES) and is responsible for all financial matters with primary responsibility for profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash performance of Hughes. Additionally, as a member of the Executive Committee and management team of Hughes, he reviews and approves all major investments and participates directly in all strategic issues. Before joining Hughes, Mr. Barber was executive vice president and CFO of Acterna, Inc., a $500M global manufacturer of telecommunications test and measurement equipment for the telecom and cable markets. Mr. Barber was responsible for a global organization that included all finance roles, information technology, order management, and a global systems initiative. Previously, Mr. Barber had an 18-year career with Nortel Networks in various financial management positions including vice president of finance, Global Performance Management. He also had responsibility for Major Accounts in the Americas and served as vice president and controller for Europe and vice president for Shared Services, Europe. Mr. Barber has lived and worked in London, Paris, Canada, and the U.S. Mr. Barber graduated with honors from Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario with a bachelora s degree in Business Administration. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and has been a director of Eningen Realty, Inc. since 2003.

Adrian Morris is executive vice president of the Engineering Division at Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES) where he is responsible for managing the division and leading the engineering teams in the development of products. He is also a member of the management team at Hughes Communications, Inc.

Peter Pardee is Vice President of Hughes Network Systems where he pursues new and emerging business opportunities leveraging innovative technologies in conjunction with HNS' core products. Peter has over twenty-five years experience in communications systems, product development and engineering organization development and management.

"Bahram Pourmand, has been an HCI Executive Vice President since February 2006 and has served as Executive Vice President, International Division of HNS since 1993. Mr. Pourmand joined HNS in 1979 and is currently responsible for all aspects of HNS international operations, including oversight of profit and loss, marketing, product development, and strategic direction for HNS’ global activities. Prior to joining HNS, Mr. Pourmand was a director with Rockwell International in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Pourmand has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. "

Paul Gaske has been an HCI Executive Vice President since February 2006 and has also served as HNS' Executive Vice President, North American Division since 1999. Mr. Gaske joined HNS in 1977. Mr. Gaske has held a variety of engineering, marketing, and business management positions throughout his career. Mr. Gaske holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), a published author on satellite networking technologies and markets and the holder of numerous patents in satellite communications and broadband networking.

James L. ?Lou? Peeler, 72, was a founder and member of the board of Digital Communications Corporation (DCC), which evolved into Hughes Network Systems (HNS), a provider of global broadband, satellite, and wireless communications products for home and business, such as DirecTV and DIRECWAY. Mr. Peeler retired as executive vice president of operations in 1999 after 27 years of service and is presently a member of the Advisory Council to Hughes Network Systems. Mr. Peeler also served on the board of Hughes Software Systems (HSS). Prior to the founding of DCC, he was vice president of Engineering for Washington Technological Associates (WTA), where he was instrumental in the development of rocket and satellite communications and instrumentation equipment. Mr. Peeler received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Auburn University.

Aaron J. Stone has served as a Director since September 2006. Mr. Stone is a partner of Apollo Advisors, L.P., which, together with its affiliates, acts as managing general partner of the Apollo Investment Funds, a series of private securities investment funds, where he has worked since 1997. Mr. Stone also serves on the board of directors of AMC Entertainment Inc., Educate Inc., Hughes Communications, Inc., Intelsat Holdings, Ltd., and SkyTerra Communications, Inc., and also on the board of managers of Hughes Network Systems, LLC.

Andrew D. Africk has served as a Director since November 2001 and serves as a member of the audit committee and as chairman of the compensation committee. Mr. Africk is a partner at Apollo Advisors LP, which he joined in 1992. He serves on the boards of directors of Intelsat Ltd., Hughes Communications, Inc., TerreStar Networks Inc. and SkyTerra Communications, Inc. Donald H. Gips has served as a Director since May 2002 and is a member of the audit committee. Mr. Gips is Group Vice President, Global Corporate Development for Level 3 Communications, Inc., which (''Level 3'') he joined in 1998. Mr. Gips also serves on the board of directors of MindSpeed Corporation. Prior to joining Level 3, he was Chief Domestic Policy Advisor to United States Vice President Al Gore from January 1997 to April 1998. Mr. Gips also served as Chief of the Federal Communications Commission's International Bureau from January 1994 to January 1997 and as an Executive Manager at McKinsey & Company from September 1989 to December 1993. Jeffrey Leddy has served as a Director since April 2003. Mr. Leddy currently serves as a director of SkyTerra Communications, Inc. since December 2006, and had previously served as its Chief Executive Officer and President from April 2003 until December 2006, as its President and Chief Operating Officer from October 2002 to April 2003, and as its Senior Vice President of Operations from June 2002 to October 2002. Mr. Leddy is currently Chief Executive Officer of HUGHES Telematics, Inc. a position he has held on a salaried basis since December 2006. From June 2005 to February 2006, Mr. Leddy served as President of Hughes Communications, Inc. and from November 2005 to February 2006 as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Leddy also served as President of Miraxis LLC from January 2001 through September 2005. Mr. Leddy worked at EMS Technologies from 1980 to 2000 and held a number of engineering and management positions there, including serving as the President of EMS's operating unit from 19 93 to 1998. Mr. Leddy is also a director of Hughes Communications, Inc., HUGHES Network Systems LLC and HUGHES Telematics, Inc.

Jeffrey Leddy has been a director of Hughes Communications, Inc. (HCI) since its formation on June 23, 2005. Mr. Leddy was president of HCI from June 23, 2005 until February 3, 2006 and chief executive officer from November 8, 2005 until February 3, 2006. Mr. Leddy has been the chief executive officer and president of SkyTerra Communications, Inc. (SkyTerra) since April 2003, having served as its president and chief operating officer since October 2002 and its senior vice president of operations since June 2002. From September 1980 to December 2001, Mr. Leddy worked for EMS Technologies, most recently as a vice president. Mr. Leddy serves on the board of directors of SkyTerra, Mobile Satellite Ventures GP Inc., and Hughes Systique Corporation. Mr. Leddy also serves on the board of managers of Hughes Network Systems, LLC.

"Thomas McElroy has been Chief Accounting Officer of HCI since February 2006. In August 2007, he was appointed Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of HNS and is responsible for all financial accounting and reporting matters for HNS and its global consolidated operations. From June 2006 to September 2007 he was HNS’ Vice President and Controller. Prior to joining HNS in January 1988 as a Director of Finance, Mr. McElroy was a senior manager in the audit group for PriceWaterhouse in Washington, D.C. from 1977 to 1988. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Francis University. "
