Jim Rizzo joined Town Sports International in February 2007 as Senior Vice President/Human Resources. Prior to GE Catherine worked for Citibank in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Banco Real S.A. in New York City. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Oklahoma and graduate studies certification in Human Resources Management from New York University. She often gives lectures and presentations to graduate students, undergraduates, high school students and professional groups on all aspects of human resources and career development. Catherine's HR experience in global human resources extends to working throughout the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia. James Dietz has worked at the National Science Foundation since 1989 and currently is a Program Director for Research and Evaluation in the Directorate for Education and Human Resources. He also has worked in research grants programs in organization studies, human and social dynamics, historically black colleges and universities, and the early career development. Dietz has experience working in both the executive and legislative branches of the federal government and has served on numerous interagency working groups. For the past two years he has represented the U.S. on the Group of Eight Nations working group on the assessment of public investments in science and technology research. His own research primarily is interested in education and human resources policy, science and technology policy, organizational studies, and policy and program evaluation. Bridget L. Spruill is the Manager of Quality Assurance at Dimensions International, Inc. (DI) and is responsible for driving the quality strategy for the organization. Doug Mooney has been with SC2 since 1998 and has been in the role of Vice President of Human Resources since October of 2004. Dr Henrietta Bowden-Jones is a Consultant Psychiatrist working in both the NHS and private practice. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. In her private work she is both a general adult ( Depression, Anxiety, Work-Related Stress, Relationship difficulties ) and addictions (All addictions ) psychiatrist at the Capio Nightingale Hospital in London. Her consulting rooms are in Chelsea and in Lisson Grove within the hospital. She has a national role in the addictions field being an elected member of the Addictions Faculty of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. She is the Faculty of Occupational Medicine link to the Royal College of Psychiatrists and has contributed the addictions psychiatry input to national guidelines. Henrietta works extensively with Human Resources and Occupational Health in assessing, treating and helping patients return to work following periods of treatment in hospital. She teaches employers about stress, depression and substance misuse in employees. She has worked with many of the top companies in the UK on these issues and has a Diploma in Occupational Medicine from the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in London. A further interest is the treatment of Pathological Gambling. In her charity work she is a Trustee of Sporting Chance Clinic, a high profile addiction charity that helps top sportsmen and women in the UK in their fight against drugs, alcohol and gambling. Her research with Imperial College is in the area of the neurobiology of alcohol. She has worked on orbito-frontal cortex impairment as a predictor of early relapse in alcohol dependency.

Matt Evans has worked professionally in communications for 25 years since graduating from Purdue University with a B.A. Honors in Mass Communications. Even during his time at college, he worked for the Communications department as a production manager and was a "stringer" for ESPN and the Athletic Department covering sporting events. After graduation, Matt worked 11 years as a producer of meetings and events. "For those communicators who remember basking in the flashing light of 36 ENG lamps inside of 36 Kodak E3 projectors, listening to the symphony of 35 mm slides dropping in sequence as your lips became brittle from the heat of the fans, while sitting atop 40 feet of scaffolding for 14 hours a day, we share a unique perspective. For those who don't, consider yourselves lucky. But they were great times as well." says Matt. "I got to see hotel ballrooms and convention centers around the world!" The next fourteen years, Matt made the plunge in to Human Resources communications. He spent seven years with consultancy (Hewitt Associates and Towers Perrin) and the next seven with The Timken Company, where he now manages the communications strategy for Human Resources. Matt has served on the board of the IABC Cleveland Chapter for the past four years, ending his term as president in June 2008. He has received recognition and awards for several communication projects over the years.

Jennie DeVine moved to Freeport from Belvidere, Illinois in 1967. She moved to Forreston in 1973, and then came back to Freeport in 1984. Jennie has worked for the Freeport School District, in the Transportation Department since 1987. Before being elected to the City Council, Jennie was a commissioner for the Freeport Housing Authority and served as a Freeport Township Trustee for 12 years. She still serves on the Human Resources board for the Township. Jennie has served as local Chairperson for the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon for 25 years. She also has been been an active volunteer for many benefits for various causes in the Freeport Community. She helps Support the Troops for many years. Jennie and her family help cook, serve and deliver meals at Thanksgiving and Christmas at the Salvation Army. In her free time, Jennie loves to cook and bake - people say her cookies are "the best." Jennie has won the Pretzel Festival Cooking contest three years in row. In 2004, her dessert won "Best of Show" when the festival was featured on the Cooking Network Cable TV show. Her grandchildren are starting to take over entering dishes and won in categories the last two years.

Just recently, Kovac was selected as a winner in the Crain's Detroit Business Health Care Heroes contest. The corporate achievement award in health care honored Kovac for successfully implementing an innovative health benefits practice that acknowledged a problem in health care. Kovac and Metaldyne were recognized for its unique and creative wellness program. Kovac joined Metaldyne in 2001 as a compensation and benefits consultant. She also served as a corporate benefits manager and director of compensation and benefits prior to being appointed to her previous position of vice president of Human Resources. Kovac played a key role in developing the innovative labor agreement with the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) that was part of the Metaldyne's acquisition of the Chrysler's Group's New Castle, IN facility in 2004. She works closely with the UAW and the company's other union partners to build strong and collaborative relationships with Metaldyne's employees around the world. Before joining Metaldyne, Kovac worked as a corporate human resources director in the automotive industry. Her prior professional experience includes 14 years with Comerica Bank, where she served in a variety of human resources positions, including vice president of employee benefits. Kovac holds a bachelor's degree and a Master's of Business Administration degree, both from Lawrence Technological University. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Managers, Human Resources of Greater Detroit, OESA Human Resources Council, Manufacturers Alliance Human Resources Council and Philanthropy Council of Henry Ford Health Systems. Matthew Bartosiak was promoted to Manager, Consulting Helpline in mid-2000. Joining the Association in 1980, Matt's first position was as Research Analyst, conducting the Association's compensation surveys. In 1982, he was promoted to Staff Consultant. During a brief hiatus from the Association, Matt worked for the Aerojet Corporation in compensation. He returned to the Employers Group in 1991 as Senior Staff Consultant. In this capacity, he manages EG's consultant phone line. Matt has written and presented extensively for the Employers Group. As the resident COBRA expert, he also teaches this class for the Management Education Department. He is a human resources generalist and consults in all related areas. His specializations include: benefits and wage and salary (especially exemption issues). Like all of the Employers Group consultants, he deals with many questions relating to discrimination, workers' compensation, health and safety and employee relations, and wage and hour. In 1996 he was appointed to California's Wage Board called for Wage Order 4-89. The board was called to review state wage and hour rules for several occupations, and to make recommendations for change. Matt serves on the Human Resources Board for the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Red Cross and is also a board member of the Human Resources and Security Management Council for the Industry Manufacturers Council. Previously, Matt worked as a teacher and guidance counselor. He was also a manpower planner for the City of Philadelphia. He holds a BA in Sociology from Boston College, and a MBA from West Virginia University.
