Mary L. Zuckerman is the executive vice president and chief of business operations for the DMC. Before joining the DMC in January 2004, she spent eight years with Wayne County (1994-2002). During her tenure, she held various executive level positions, including deputy county executive (2001-2002). Among her many duties, she managed the day-to-day activities of the Executive Branch Departments and the overall County budget of $1.5 billion. Zuckerman earned her master?s degree in public administration from Northern Illinois University and a bachelor?s degree from Winona State University.

Dr. Goo received his Medical Degree, Cum Laude, from the University of the Philippines, Manila, finishing first in his class. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He served his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Goo has served as an Instructor at the School of Medicine, University of the Philippines and as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University. He has been listed as one of metro Detroit's top gastroenterologists in Hour Magazine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a Fellow of the The American College of Physicians and the The American College of Gastroenterology. He is a member of The American Gastroenterological Association, The American College of Gastroenterology and the Detroit Gastroenterology Society. Dr. Goo is currently the Chief of Gastroenterology at Huron Valley - Sinai Hospital in Commerce, Michigan. His clinical special interests include therapeutic endoscopy. His publications include articles in Gastroenterology, Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology and Cancer Letters. Dr. Goo lives in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with his wife and two children.

S. Gene McNeeley, M.D. is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. His clinical interests include: urogynecology; incontinence; pelvic floor disorders; female voiding disorders; gynecology; and the Essure birth control procedure. Specializing in complex gynecologic problems and urinary incontinence, he is also actively involved in research into the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. Dr. McNeeley is principal or co-principal investigator for eight ongoing trials, including the 11-year, NIH-funded "Clinical Centers for the Clinical Trial and Observational Study of the Women's Health Initiative." He is a reviewer for the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Infectious Diseases in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has lectured extensively and has published over 20 books and chapters, and numerous articles, abstracts and reviews on various topics related to women's health. Dr. McNeeley currently serves as Professor of Gynecology and Urology and Division Director of Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Hutzel Women's Hospital.

Thomas A. Malone, M.D. is executive vice president and chief medical officer for the DMC. Before joining the DMC in January 2001, he was president and chief executive officer of Physician Direct Care and corporate director of neonatal services for the Oakwood Healthcare System. Malone attended medical school at Ohio State University, where he completed his pediatric residency. He continued at Brown University, completing a fellowship in neonatal medicine, and is board certified in pediatrics and neonatology. Malone earned his master?s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.

William R. Alvin is the executive vice president, Strategy Development for the DMC. Before joining the DMC in 2007, he was president and CEO of Care Choices Health Plan. Alvin has over 30 years of health care experience -- twenty of those years have been as CEO for southeastern Michigan health plans, hospitals and physician groups. During his tenure as the president and CEO of Care Choices, it was ranked as the #1 health plan in Michigan and the 12th best in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. Alvin is responsible for working with DMC?s Executive Leadership and the DMC Board of Trustees to develop and maintain the comprehensive strategic plan for the health system and its subsidiaries. Alvin holds a master?s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Health Care Administration from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. and a bachelor?s degree from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Christensen is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as gynecologic oncology. He has additional training in addiction treatment and serves as Medical Director of the Eleonore Hutzel Recovery Center. Dr. Christensen is active in gynecologic oncology research and has published dozens of journal articles, book chapters and abstracts. He is also a frequent lecturer at professional meetings. He currently serves as Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Lall is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. His clinical interests include: laparoscopic hysterectomy; roller ball hysterectomy; laser surgery; endometriosis; pre-menstrual syndrome; menopause; fibroids; endometriosis; and the Essure birth control procedure. He currently serves as Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Kmak is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. His clinical interests include: fibroids; menopause; incontinence; and other gynecologic conditions. Dr. Kmak is actively involved in research and medical education. Currently, he is involved in research into non-surgical treatments for uterine fibroids. He has published numerous journal articles and abstracts and serves as Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Over 25 years of experience in employment relations administration in both business and government is the foundation upon which Floyd founded the law firm in 1986. His professional experience includes twenty (20) years of private law practice. Service as Director of Labor Relations and Wage Administration for the City of Detroit, and as Industrial Relations Manager for Ford Motor Company for fourteen (14) years. Floyd specializes in Labor and Employment law, government regulatory and compliance matters and controlling board governance issues. Currently Floyd E. Allen & Associates manages legal activity for the Detroit Medical Center and Floyd is project manager on this account. Under Floyd E. Allen & Associates leadership, DMC has reduced its outside legal fees by at least 45% per fiscal year. Additionally, Floyd has extensive experience servicing local school system clients, and has a thorough understanding of the Revised School Code and the Community College Act. Floyd is a member of the Michigan Bar Association (Labor Law Business Section), Michigan Public Employer Labor Relations Association, Industrial Relations Research Association and the Michigan Municipal League Employee Relations Committee, Employer's Association of Detroit, the Michigan Quality of Work Life Council Board of Trustees, Greater Detroit Health Council, Detroit Black Chamber of Commerce, National Chapter of College of Labor and Employment Attorneys, Michigan Association of School Board Attorneys, Employer's Unemployment Commission, the former President of the 100 Black Men of Greater Detroit and current member. Floyd received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Wayne State University School of Law, Masters of Business Administration from University of Detroit, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University.

Dr. Deppe is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology. His clinical interest is in gynecologic oncology. He has won numerous awards and honors for his work and serves on the editorial boards of The American Journal of Reproductive Immunology and Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Deppe is a frequent lecturer on gynecologic oncology topics and is currently involved in clinical cancer research. He has published dozens of book chapters, journal articles and abstracts. Dr. Deppe currently serves as Professor and Marie E. Brasza Chair in Gynecologic Oncology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Louis is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has a special interest in maternal fetal medicine. In addition to a medical degree, she has a master's degree in public health. Dr. Louis is a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine and the American Medical Association. She is currently a Maternal Fetal Medicine fellow at Hutzel Women's Hospital and the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Makela is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. His clinical interests include: laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy; laparoscopic procedures; and vulvovaginal syndromes. He currently serves as Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Hendrix is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Her clinical interests include: menopause; gynecology procedures; urogynecology; and the Essure birth control procedure. Dr. Hendrix is a nationally known authority on menopause. She was a primary investigator on the national Women's Health Initiative, the study that found hormone therapy can actually increase women's risk of breast cancer, heart disease, blood clots and stroke. She is also the author of a Chicken Soup for the Soul book on Menopause to be published in Spring 2005. Dr. Hendrix currently serves at Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Woodard serves as a clinician educator at Hutzel Women's Hospital and Wayne State University School of Medicine. In this role, she devotes a substantial amount of time to educating medical school students and residents. Her areas of clinical interest include women's reproductive health and fertility. She currently is a Women's Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) Fellow with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. She has been involved in clinical research, including a study of fertility preservation in women undergoing cancer therapy. She is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and The Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Anderson is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. His clinical interests include: adolescent gynecology; alternatives to hysterectomy; colposcopy; endometrial ablation; endometriosis; laparoscopic hysterectomy; birth control, including the Essure birth control procedure; menopause; and pre-menstrual syndrome. He currently serves as Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Sorokin is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine. His clinical interests include: high-risk pregnancy; genetics; reproductive genetics; and maternal fetal medicine. He currently serves as Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Dr. Diamond is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology. His clinical interests include: infertility; endometriosis; reproductive endocrinology; pelvic pain; fibroid tumors; in vitro fertilization; and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). He currently services as Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Diamond holds a four year term as consultant to the Department of Health and Human Services Food and Drug Administration Obstetrics and Gynecology Devices panel, and to the center for Devices and Radiological Health until the year 2011.

Dr. James Geisler began his educational career in the Chicago area, teaching and later serving as an assistant high school principal. He moved to Michigan in 1974 upon being named Principal of North Muskegon High School. In 1983, he became Assistant Superintendent of the Royal Oak Schools. He was named Superintendent of the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools in 1988, where he served with distinction until his retirement in 2006. Dr. Geisler was named Michigan Superintendent of the Year in 1991. Dr. Geisler has been active in many professional and community endeavors. He served as Chair of the Metropolitan Bureau of School Studies, the Oakland County Superintendents' Association, the Galileo Teacher Leadership Program, and the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges Michigan State Committee. In addition, he is a member of the Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital Board of Directors. He received his Ph.D. in Education from the University of Chicago in 1982. Prior to that, he earned his M.Ed. from Loyola University in Chicago and his B.A. in Philosophy from St. Mary of the Lake (now Niles College of Loyola University.)
