Mary L. Zuckerman is the executive vice president and chief of business operations for the DMC. Before joining the DMC in January 2004, she spent eight years with Wayne County (1994-2002). During her tenure, she held various executive level positions, including deputy county executive (2001-2002). Among her many duties, she managed the day-to-day activities of the Executive Branch Departments and the overall County budget of $1.5 billion. Zuckerman earned her master?s degree in public administration from Northern Illinois University and a bachelor?s degree from Winona State University.

Dr. Goo received his Medical Degree, Cum Laude, from the University of the Philippines, Manila, finishing first in his class. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He served his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Goo has served as an Instructor at the School of Medicine, University of the Philippines and as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University. He has been listed as one of metro Detroit's top gastroenterologists in Hour Magazine. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is a Fellow of the The American College of Physicians and the The American College of Gastroenterology. He is a member of The American Gastroenterological Association, The American College of Gastroenterology and the Detroit Gastroenterology Society. Dr. Goo is currently the Chief of Gastroenterology at Huron Valley - Sinai Hospital in Commerce, Michigan. His clinical special interests include therapeutic endoscopy. His publications include articles in Gastroenterology, Scandinavian Journal of Gastroenterology and Cancer Letters. Dr. Goo lives in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with his wife and two children.

S. Gene McNeeley, M.D. is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. His clinical interests include: urogynecology; incontinence; pelvic floor disorders; female voiding disorders; gynecology; and the Essure birth control procedure. Specializing in complex gynecologic problems and urinary incontinence, he is also actively involved in research into the treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders. Dr. McNeeley is principal or co-principal investigator for eight ongoing trials, including the 11-year, NIH-funded "Clinical Centers for the Clinical Trial and Observational Study of the Women's Health Initiative." He is a reviewer for the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Infectious Diseases in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has lectured extensively and has published over 20 books and chapters, and numerous articles, abstracts and reviews on various topics related to women's health. Dr. McNeeley currently serves as Professor of Gynecology and Urology and Division Director of Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine and Hutzel Women's Hospital.

Thomas A. Malone, M.D. is executive vice president and chief medical officer for the DMC. Before joining the DMC in January 2001, he was president and chief executive officer of Physician Direct Care and corporate director of neonatal services for the Oakwood Healthcare System. Malone attended medical school at Ohio State University, where he completed his pediatric residency. He continued at Brown University, completing a fellowship in neonatal medicine, and is board certified in pediatrics and neonatology. Malone earned his master?s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.

William R. Alvin is the executive vice president, Strategy Development for the DMC. Before joining the DMC in 2007, he was president and CEO of Care Choices Health Plan. Alvin has over 30 years of health care experience -- twenty of those years have been as CEO for southeastern Michigan health plans, hospitals and physician groups. During his tenure as the president and CEO of Care Choices, it was ranked as the #1 health plan in Michigan and the 12th best in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. Alvin is responsible for working with DMC?s Executive Leadership and the DMC Board of Trustees to develop and maintain the comprehensive strategic plan for the health system and its subsidiaries. Alvin holds a master?s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Health Care Administration from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. and a bachelor?s degree from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania.

He currently services as Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Diamond holds a four year term as consultant to the Department of Health and Human Services Food and Drug Administration Obstetrics and Gynecology Devices panel, and to the center for Devices and Radiological Health until the year 2011.

Dr. James Geisler began his educational career in the Chicago area, teaching and later serving as an assistant high school principal. He moved to Michigan in 1974 upon being named Principal of North Muskegon High School. In 1983, he became Assistant Superintendent of the Royal Oak Schools. He was named Superintendent of the Walled Lake Consolidated Schools in 1988, where he served with distinction until his retirement in 2006. Dr. Geisler was named Michigan Superintendent of the Year in 1991. Dr. Geisler has been active in many professional and community endeavors. He served as Chair of the Metropolitan Bureau of School Studies, the Oakland County Superintendents' Association, the Galileo Teacher Leadership Program, and the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges Michigan State Committee. In addition, he is a member of the Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital Board of Directors. He received his Ph.D. in Education from the University of Chicago in 1982. Prior to that, he earned his M.Ed. from Loyola University in Chicago and his B.A. in Philosophy from St. Mary of the Lake (now Niles College of Loyola University.)
