Bobby Lee joined the board of directors in October, 2005. Bobby currently serves as the Corporate Communications Officer for Hynix Semiconductor, located in Eugene, Oregon. Bobby has managed two non-profits in Eugene and Portland. He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from University of Oregon majoring in public administration. Bobby has been politically active since his college years. He served as student body president at University of Oregon in 1992. He was later appointed by Governor Barbara Roberts to the Oregon State Board of Higher Education in 1994 -1996. He was elected as Eugene City Councilor 1997 2001. Bobby helped manage President Bill Clinton & Vice-President Al Gore's national campaign and has worked as legislative staff for Democrats and Republicans in the Oregon House and Senate. Bobby has additionally served on over 20 boards and commissions throughout the region and state. Bobby was born in Athens, Georgia but left at the age of five to Seoul, Korea where his father served as a university president. He came to Oregon in 1986 to finish his high school education and enjoys living in this part of the world. Bobby believes that what young people need more than anything else is someone they can count on which is why mentoring youth is so important.
