Mr. Rade joined I-many's board of directors in June 2005 and was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer at I-many in August 2006. Previously, Mr. Rade served as President and Chief Executive Officer of AXS-One, Inc. (formerly Computron Software, Inc., a publicly traded software company) where he presided over a dramatic turnaround and repositioning of the company from 1997 until his retirement in 2004. Prior to joining Computron, he managed the pharmaceutical industry practice for American Management Systems, Inc., a management consulting and information technology company. Mr. Rade also founded and was CEO of S-Cubed, Inc., a provider of advanced computer software development tools. Earlier in his career, he served as President and CEO of Information Sciences, a NASDAQ company, held senior management positions with Cap Gemini Sogeti in both Europe and the US, and led Computer Science Corporation's European Contract Services operations. Mr. Rade is a software industry veteran with over 35 years of leadership roles at leading software and high-tech companies in both Europe and the US.

Mr. Harris was appointed Chief Financial Officer in July 2003. Prior to joining I-many, Mr. Harris was Division Controller of the Middleware Division at Hewlett-Packard and Corporate Controller at Bluestone Software. Earlier in his career, he was Chief Financial Officer at a privately held consumer product goods marketing company. Mr. Harris holds a BS and an MBA from Drexel University.

Mr. Blumberg is responsible for all professional services, as well as customer support and sustaining engineering functions. He is also responsible for formulating and directing I-many's marketing strategies in its Life Sciences and Healthcare business line. Blumberg comes to I-many from Accenture - the $16 billion global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company - where he was a managing partner. During his 15 years at Accenture, Blumberg held a number of senior management positions, where he served as the lead partner for the pharmaceutical and medical products practice, global account manager for one of Accenture's "Diamond" pharmaceutical accounts, and oversaw Accenture's global pharmaceutical and medical products CRM business. He was previously with IBM and General Electric, and earned his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and BS in mechanical engineering from Ohio State University.

Mr. Shytle is responsible for managing I-many’s sales organization worldwide. He has been with the company since 1999, previously serving as Vice President of Sales for North America and Vice President of Sales for Life Sciences. Prior to joining I-many, Mr. Shytle was responsible for sales and market development in the life sciences industry for Manugistics, a provider of software and services for supply chain management. He has also served in various sales roles at Johnson & Johnson, United States Surgical Corporation, and Eastman Kodak. Mr. Shytle has more than twenty years of experience as a highly motivated and accomplished sales, marketing, and management professional. His performance demonstrates a high level of achievement and success in launching new innovative technologies, strategic planning, new business development, technical training, team building, and consistently overachieving forecast and business objectives. Mr. Shytle holds an MBA from the School of Business at Queens College in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Robert G. Schwartz, Jr. has served as I-many's Vice President and General Counsel since September 2001. Mr. Schwartz is responsible for all of I-many's legal and contractual affairs. He has extensive experience as a corporate counsel for software and technology companies. Before coming to I-many, he served as Vice President, General Counsel and Director for Emptoris, Inc., a privately held developer of strategic sourcing software, where he was responsible for all legal affairs. He has also served as Assistant General Counsel for Cambridge Technology Partners, with responsibility for securities and M&A matters, and as Vice President and General Counsel for Astea International, a Nasdaq-quoted developer of customer relationship management software. Before joining Astea, he was an associate in the corporate law department of Goodwin Procter LLP. Mr. Schwartz holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in political science from Amherst College.

Mr. Zuckerman is responsible for all aspects of marketing and business development at I-many and brings extensive experience in the development and execution of marketing programs for enterprise software companies. Zuckerman was previously senior vice president and general manager of the 3D business group at Immersion Corporation, a publicly-traded technology company, after first serving as senior vice president and general manager of its industrial business group, as well as senior vice president of marketing. Prior to Immersion, Zuckerman was vice president of marketing for Verity, Inc., a publicly-traded enterprise software company (now part Autonomy Corporation plc), where he was instrumental in making Verity an international leader in infrastructure software for search, categorization and personalization for the Global 2000. Mr. Zuckerman holds a BSEE in electrical engineering from University of Maryland College Park.

Karl Newkirk, recently retired, was a Partner at Accenture (NYSE: ACN), formerly Andersen Consulting, for almost 30 years, where he specialized in management solutions for the manufacturing, distribution, health care and consumer goods industries. Mr. Newkirk initiated and built the Andersen Consulting ERP practice in 1994 and served as its global managing partner for six years. That global consulting organization grew from an initial focus on SAP into an organization with more than 5,000 employees managing ERP implementations in many of the world's largest companies and became one of the firm's most successful and profitable lines of business. Mr. Newkirk also served as the first managing partner of Accenture’s Microsoft Solutions Organization.

As a Senior Associate in Safeguard’s Technology Group, Mark identifies, evaluates and supports entrepreneurial companies in the software applications and technology services markets. With nearly 10 years of experience in technology, Mark leverages his market understanding and expertise to provide support and insight to partner companies. Prior to joining Safeguard in 2005, Mark worked at Wachovia Securities, where he focused on M&A and IPO transactions for software and security companies. He also previously worked at Broadview International, providing M&A advisory services to companies in the Internet, software and communications infrastructure markets. Earlier in his career, Mark served as an associate consultant at PTG, a management consultancy, where he provided strategic advice to both Fortune 500 and early-stage technology companies. MURRAY B. LOW, age 48, has served as a director since October 2000. Professor Low has been a professor at Columbia Business School since 1990. Professor Low also has been Associate Professor and Executive Director of the Eugene M. Lang Center for Entrepreneurship at Columbia Business School since July 2000 when it was established. Since January 1996, he also has been president of Low & Associates, a consulting firm. Professor Low received a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Pennsylvania.

Reynold C. Bish has been active in enterprise software markets for more than 20 years. In 1989, he co-founded Captiva Software Corporation (www.captivasoftware.com), which became a NASDAQ listed company and the leading provider of input management solutions. He served as Captiva's president, CEO, and a director until its acquisition by EMC Corporation in December 2005. He then served as vice president of EMC's Enterprise Software Group until late 2006 when he resigned to become an independent business consultant. Prior to Captiva, Bish was president and CEO of Unibase Systems, Inc., a company that was the first to provide data entry systems on industry standard, open platforms. Prior to Unibase, Mr. Bish was a co-founder, vice president of finance and CFO of Covalent Systems Corporation, a venture capital funded company that was a leading provider of data collection and production management systems for commercial and in-plant print shops. He previously spent six years as vice president of finance and CFO of Fafco, Inc., a NASDAQ listed company that is the leading provider of solar heat exchangers, and three years with Price Waterhouse as a CPA. He has served on the board of directors of AeA, AIIM and TAWPI and in 2003 was named Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year for the San Diego area.

Yorgen Edholm is a Silicon Valley veteran with 25 years of Enterprise Software expertise. Mr. Edholm co-founded Brio Technology and during 12 years as CEO, took the company public and grew it to $150 million in revenues with over 700 employees and a customer base of over 5,000 organizations. In addition Mr. Edholm was President and CEO of DecisionPoint Applications, an Analytical Applications company. Mr. Edholm has served on several public and private company boards including most recently Hyperion (sold to Oracle), I-many, Resilience, Verix and Saama. Mr. Edholm earned an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and a Masters in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Trained as a concert violinist, Mr. Edholm studied with Ivan Galamian, and has performed in Carnegie Hall (2005).
