Ofer Gneezy is President and Chief Executive Officer of iBasis, a leader in international long distance, VoIP, and prepaid calling cards. As co-founder of iBasis in 1996, Ofer is one of the true visionaries of the IP telephony industry and a recipient of Pulver.com's Industry Pioneer Award. He was named Best Business Leader for 2007 in the annual Capacity Magazine Awards. Ofer was an early believer in the power of the Internet to change global telecommunications and quickly established iBasis as the first provider of toll-quality Voice-over-IP (VoIP) service. Prior to founding iBasis, Ofer was president of Acuity Imaging, Inc., a multinational leader in industrial automation technology. He led Acuity to achieve significant increases in earnings, revenues and stockholder equity before successfully orchestrating the company's acquisition by RVSI, the second-largest company in the industry. The acquisition provided Acuity with strong financial backing and access to the semiconductor industry while delivering liquidity to Acuity investors. Previously, as president and CEO of Automatix, Inc., Ofer led the turnaround of the company to growth and sustained quarterly profitability and managed its merger with Itran, Inc. to form Acuity. Ofer is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University's Graduate School of Business Administration and has an M.S. in engineering from M.I.T.

As Chief Technology Officer, Ajay Joseph is responsible for the technical strategy, innovation, and engineering of the iBasis Internet Telephony infrastructure. Since 1999, Ajay has lead the network architecture, systems development and migration of the global iBasis network to an all IP, switch-less architecture with iBasis' proprietary Assured Quality Routing (AQR) and Path Engine routing systems enabling iBasis to become one of the largest voice carriers on the world. Prior to joining iBasis, Ajay was manager and architect of the IP Telecom division at GTE Internetworking responsible for new VoIP-based services. He also held senior level engineering and design positions at DeskNet Systems and NYNEX Science & Technology. Ajay is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School. He holds Professional Engineering and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
Mark S. Flynn is Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for iBasis. In this position, Mark manages the legal affairs of the company and provides counsel on a range of related issues including corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Mark has many years of diversified corporate experience in both the manufacturing and service sectors as internal legal counsel and in private law firm practice. He has substantial experience in corporate legal affairs including corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, acquisitions and divestitures, and corporate finance. Prior to joining iBasis, Mark was Vice president, General Counsel and Secretary for Imagistics International Inc., a NYSE-traded company engaged in the marketing, sales and service of document imaging equipment with revenues exceeding $600 million and 3,500 employees in the U.S., Canada and the U.K. From 1999 to 2001 Mark was a partner in the Business Practice Group of the Wiggin & Dana, LLP, a top-tier law firm based in Connecticut where his practice was focused on business transactions and general corporate representation. He has also served in senior legal counsel positions at public and private companies in the chemicals and health care industries, including Senior Deputy General Counsel of Olin Corporation, a diversified chemicals and materials company. Mark is a member of the Advisory Board of Integra Ventures, a Seattle-based venture capital fund, specializing in healthcare and life sciences. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Stamford Theatre Works, a not-for-profit professional theatre resident in Stamford, Connecticut. His professional associations include the American Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals. Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree from Fordham University College of Business Administration, and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where he served on the staff of the Fordham Law Review and the Fordham International Law Journal.

Edwin van Ierland oversees the company's global sales force and is responsible for developing and managing execution of the company's worldwide sales strategies. Van Ierland brings to iBasis more than 15 years of experience in telecommunications dating back to his years in the Royal Netherlands Air Force where he held various staff and operational management positions with responsibility for communications infrastructure, operations and policies. Prior to joining iBasis in 2007 Van Ierland was managing director of KPN Global Carrier Services, the international voice business of Royal KPN N.V., the national carrier of the Netherlands. Van Ierland was instrumental in the transaction between iBasis and Royal KPN N.V. that resulted in the merger of KPN Global Carrier Services into iBasis in October of 2007. As managing director of KPN Global Carrier Services, Van Ierland was responsible for growing KPN's international wholesale voice activities, with P & L accountability, including development of the innovative Mobile Matrix portfolio and the development of emerging markets. Previously, from 2000 to 2006, Van Ierland held positions of increasing responsibility within the management team of KPN's Carrier Services wholesale business unit during which time he was responsible for business processes and information technology and for the introduction of new products for both the fixed and mobile markets in a regulatory environment. Prior to joining KPN, Van Ierland was on the management team of Schiphol Telematics, which provides voice and data services to all companies involved in aviation operations at Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands. He also spent eight years as an Air Force officer in communications and operational command and control functions in the Ministry of Defense/Royal Netherlands Air Force. Van Ierland graduated as an Airforce officer from the Royal Military Academy (Electronics) and has completed advanced study programs in Management, Business, and Information Systems.

As Vice President of eCommerce, Ed is responsible for leading the company's efforts toward direct web-based sales of products and services. Ed brings to iBasis 10 years of Internet Marketing expertise, and over 20 years of marketing, sales, and business planning experience in technology-driven companies. Ed comes to iBasis from FrugalFlower.com, where he established and managed the eCommerce initiative for this national flower distribution company. Ed was previously President and co-founder of BX Technologies, Inc. a pioneering Web development, hosting, and web applications company. While there, he was instrumental in the development of over 500 client projects to bring their Web initiatives to fruition. He oversaw the development and the sales of comprehensive eCommerce systems, content management systems, and several key vertical web-based product solutions. Prior to founding BX Technologies, he held various key marketing, planning, and sales roles at Paradigm Management Group, BASF, Data General, and Wang Laboratories. As vice president of sales for the Asia-Pacific region, John Tolton is responsible for all day-to-day operations of iBasis' Asia-Pacific sales team, including selling iBasis services to carriers and developing new partnerships for termination within the region. Since 1990 Tolton has held a variety of sales, business development, and management positions focused on telecommunications in the Asia-Pacific market, including serving as iBasis managing director for Asia-Pacific from 1999 to 2001. Charles Skibo is an accomplished telecom executive and an industry veteran. He is currently the CEO of House Raising, a public company focused on software and custom home building services. He serves on the board of iBasis and on the advisory board of PayEase. Most recently, he was the CEO of COLO.COM, a provider of facilities and co-location services to the communication and information technology, where had raised over $500MM and built 26 carrier-class data centers in the U.S. Prior to joining COLO.COM, he was involved with a variety of acquisitions, financing, and consulting within the telecom industry as Chairman of Strategic Enterprises and Communication, Inc. Previously, he was President and CEO of US Sprint, where he merged US Telecom, GTE Sprint, and GTE Telenet to form US Sprint. Before US Sprint and US Telecom, he held various executive management roles at MCI, including President of MCI Southeast, Senior VP of Network Operations, and Senior VP of Business Development, Strategic Planning and Administration. He resides in Houston, TX with his wife.
Mr. Lee is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of eOn Communication Corp., Chairman of the Boards of Cortelco, Inc., Spark Technology Corp., and Symbio, and a Regent Emeritus of the University of California. He also serves as a Senior Advisor to Silver Lake, a private equity firm. Mr. Lee originally co-founded Qume Corporation in 1973 and served as Executive Vice President until it was acquired by ITT Corporation in 1978. After the acquisition, Mr. Lee held the positions of Executive Vice President of ITT Qume until 1981, and President through 1983. From 1983 to 1985, he served as a Vice President of ITT and as Group Executive and Chairman of its Business Information Systems Group. In 1985, he became President and Chairman of Data Technology Corp. ( DTC ), and in 1988, DTC acquired and merged with Qume. Mr. Lee served as a member of the President s Council on the 21 st Century Workforce, appointed by President George Bush. Mr. Lee also served as an advisor to Presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton on the Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiation (Office of the U.S. Trade Representative/ Executive Officer of the President) and to Governor Pete Wilson on the California Economic Development Corporation (CalEDC) and the Council on California Competitiveness. Mr. Lee is a past Commissioner of the California Postsecondary Education Commission, as well as having founded and served as Chairman of the Chinese Institute of Engineers, the Asian American Manufacturers Association and the Monte Jade Science and Technology Association.

Eelco Blok, has served as one of our directors since October 2007. Mr. Blok is Managing Director Business Segment, Getronics Segment and Wholesale & Operations Segment of Royal KPN and has also been a member of the Board of Management of Royal KPN since June 1, 2006. Mr. Blok joined Royal KPN in 1983 and since then has held various management positions, including the Director of the Carrier Services, Corporate Networks, Fixed Net Operator and Corporate Strategy & Innovation departments.
