Anthony Nimmo is a registered patent attorney and partner in Ice Miller's Intellectual Property Group. He has over twenty years of litigation experience principally as lead counsel in numerous patent, trademark and copyright cases.

Ben Caughey is a partner in Ice Miller's Bankruptcy Practice Group and concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy and debt workouts. He advises clients concerning simple and complex commercial disputes and regularly assists his clients in addressing the complexities of financial distress.

Brent Huber is a partner at Ice Miller. His primary areas of practice are risk management and complex litigation, including insurance coverage litigation, business litigation, and toxic torts and environmental litigation.

Mr. Carr is a Partner in the Labor & Employment group of Ice Miller, focusing his practice in the areas of personnel policies, employment discrimination, sports law, and employment contracts involving trade secrets, confidential information and covenants against competition.

David J. Mallon, Jr. is a partner in the Indianapolis law firm of Ice Miller LLP. Ice Miller LLP is a member of URMIA. Mr. Mallon's primary practice concentration is in litigation and risk management for health care providers, and colleges and universities. He also represents clients in insurance disputes and has helped to form a captive insurance company for a large public university. He is a certified civil mediator. Mr. Mallon is a frequent speaker on topics covering risk management and health law. He is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys, American Health Lawyers Association, the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, and the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations. Mr. Mallon graduated from Cornell University with an A.B. in 1968. He holds a juris doctorate from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, where he graduated in 1975. Mr. Mallon joined Ice Miller LLP in 1975 after graduating from law school.

Doreen Gridley is a Partner at Ice Miller. Her primary area of practice is intellectual property, including prosecution, transactions, and licensing. In her practice she concentrates in the areas of life sciences, biotechnology, computer, internet and e-commerce law, contract law, and privacy law.

Drew Miroff is a partner in the Business Litigation Group. Mr. Miroff concentrates his practice in commerical and products liability litigation as well as counseling clients on a wide array of risk management and litigation avoidance issues.

Hammond is a partner of Ice Miller, Indianapolis' largest law firm. He serves as Co-Chair of Ice Miller's Public Affairs group. As a veteran of Indiana's state government, he has helped shape a wide variety of public policy, from tax policy to environmental management, education to tort reform, transportation to insurance and economic development. He was awarded his Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University in 1976, and a Juris Doctorate from the Indiana University School of Law in 1991. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana. Hammond is a resident of the Old Northside Neighborhood. Hammond serves on the board of the Old Northside Foundation, the Old Centrum, and is one of the neighborhood's first urban pioneers. He and his wife have 2 sons who are benefiting from a liberal arts education at St. Richard's School.

John R. Thornburgh is a partner with Ice Miller and is the head of Ice Miller's Sports and Entertainment Group. John has been involved in the representation of many businesses and individuals in the sports and entertainment industries. John's primary concentration is in general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and other financing transactions. John is, or has been, an active member of the Indianapolis Sailing Club, the Indianapolis Athletic Club, the Riviera Club and the Five Seasons Sports Club. John has a background in martial arts and has earned a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do. John is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and attended DePauw University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 1977. John received his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, Champaign.

Kevin Alerding is a partner in Ice Miller's personal services/trusts and estates group, focusing his practice on gift and estate taxation, estate planning, and estate and trust administration.

Kristine C. Danz is an NFL and NBA Certified Agent and has represented a number of professional athletes in a variety of legal matters, such as corporate formation, general contract review and negotiation and product endorsement representation. In addition, Kristine has represented several businesses in the preparation and negotiation of endorsement contracts with professional athletes. Kristine has worked on personal and legal matters for Adam Meadows of the Indianapolis Colts and Jason Belser with the Kansas City Chiefs. Kristine is a native of Blissfield, Michigan and is the daughter of a basketball and football coach. In addition, Kristine is a competitive golfer and has won several tournaments in Michigan and Ohio at both the junior and women's level. Kristine is active in the Indiana sports community and is currently serving on the local organizing committee for the 2002 World Basketball Championships. Kristine received her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in 1993 and received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1997. While in law school, Kristine spent her summers working for two sports agencies where she learned firsthand about the sports representation business.

Richard Schnurr is a registered patent attorney and litigating partner in Ice Miller's Intellectual Property Group. He has more than 20 years experience in all areas of intellectual property law.

Mr. Schillerstrom is a partner in Ice Miller's Public Affairs Group. He currently serves as Chairman of the DuPage County Board, an elected position he has held since 1998.

Steven K. Humke is a founding partner of the Ice Miller Private Equity and Venture Services Group. His primary areas of practice are capital raising strategies, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. He serves as general counsel to many of the clients he represents.

Mr. Weiss is a Partner with Ice Miller, where his primary practice concentration is in real estate development, finance and taxation. He is a frequent speaker with the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum and the Cambridge Institute on such topics as real estate development, finance and taxation, as well as architect's agreements, construction contracts, mechanic's liens, mortgage foreclosure, eminent domain, zoning and other land use issues. Mr. Weiss is a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. He is also a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana State and American Bar Associations. Further, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Public Accountants. Mr. Weiss is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of The Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, Inc. Mr. Weiss was raised in South Bend, Indiana, and attended Indiana University, Bloomington where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Business (Accounting) in 1979. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University - Bloomington where he graduated in 1983. He became a certified Public Accountant in 1980.

Amanda is a member of the Firm's Intellectual Property Group. She concentrates her practice in the areas of intellectual property prosecution and litigation, licensing, and franchising.

Angela is an attorney with Ice Miller LLP where she focuses her practice on insurance coverage litigation, environmental and toxic tort litigation, and business litigation. Angela earned her bachelor of arts from Indiana University in 1997. She attended Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, earning her juris doctorate, summa cum laude, in 2001. Angela is a member of the American Bar Association's Tort, Trial, and Insurance Practice Section, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indianapolis American Inn of Court.

Chris Sears' practice focuses in the health care world. Chris assists clients design and maintain health and retirement plans and other employee benefits. He also works with clients in their efforts to protect the privacy of health information pursuant to HIPAA and to share information through regional health information networks.

Dale Stackhouse's practice focuses on international trade and investment and he is chairman of the Firm's International Practice Group. In addition, Mr. Stackhouse handles a variety of general business and corporate matters for domestic and international clients.

Ms. Stohler is a marketing professional with over 20 years of marketing experience. Her responsibilities include market planning and strategy development, marketing communications and advertising, Web site management, new business initiatives, market research and analysis, and public and media relations.

Fred Biesecker is a partner in the Business Litigation Group. He concentrates his practice on appellate litigation, insurance coverage issues, securities arbitration and litigation, business and commercial litigation, public affairs, construction law, and professional liability. He joined Ice Miller in April 1984. Public Service. Mr. Biesecker served as Chief Counsel to Indiana Governor Frank O' Bannon from January 1997 through July 2001. As Chief Counsel, his primary responsibilities included providing legal and policy advice to the Governor and his staff and agency heads on a broad range of issues; overseeing major litigation involving the Governor or other state officials or agencies; advising the Governor in making appointments to fill judicial vacancies; reviewing proposed legislation and coordinating the review of all enacted legislation; and serving as the Governor's liaison to the judiciary and to other statewide elected officials. From October 2002 through January 2003, he served as Interim Director of the Indiana Public Employees' Retirement Fund. He has also served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Rackets Bureau of the Manhattan District Attorney's office in New York City.

George Gasper's practice is focused on helping clients resolve business disputes to achieve strategic objectives and to obtain a competitive advantage in their marketplace. George is a litigator with trial experience and a passion for winning who understands that a client's objectives often can and should be achieved outside the courtroom. George has provided strategic advice, counseling, and litigation service in disputes involving antitrust law, employment law, copyright enforcement, and environmental law. He has represented clients across several industries, including oil and gas, steel, health care, and entertainment. He also has represented clients who provide educational and religious services. Prior to joining Ice Miller, George practiced law in Washington, D.C., where he litigated matters in federal court and represented clients whose mergers and/or pricing decisions were the subject of government investigations. George is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana, the District of Columbia, and various federal courts. George is a proud native of Philadelphia, Pa., where he earned the City Council's Good Citizenship Award. In 1999, he received a bachelor of science degree from Villanova University, graduating with honors and a double major in management and marketing. In 2003, George graduated, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, George was the administrative editor of the Georgetown Journal on Poverty Law & Policy, in which he published an article anticipating the increased flight of jobs from the center of America's cities and outlining how cities such as Indianapolis could retain those valued employment opportunities. Also while in law school, George met his wife, Julie, and is now thrilled to raise their twin sons in Julie's hometown of Indianapolis.

In addition to corporate clients, Jim also represents non-profit and governmental plans and employers. He frequently participates in seminars and conferences that address business and employee benefit matters. He was most recently asked to serve on the Employee Benefits Committee of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce which sets policy and advises Congress regarding benefits for employers nationwide. He is a member of the Indiana State and American Bar Associations, the Stanley K. Lacy Leadership Alumni Association, and the Indiana Pension Conference. He currently serves on the Employee Benefits Committees of the American Bar Association Section on Taxation and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Washington D.C. Mr. Kemper also served as a member of the Board of Trustees for Butler University and is a Governor Emeritus for Orchard Country Day School Foundation, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Eiteljorg Museum for Native American and Western Art. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for Butler University, Crossroads Rehabilitation Center, Inc.; Central Indiana Easter Seal Society, Inc.; and Noble Centers, Inc. (formerly Marion County Association for Retarded Citizens, Inc.). James D. Kemper grew up in Evansville, Indiana. After graduating from Indiana University in 1969, with a bachelor of science in finance, he received his juris doctorate from Indiana University where he graduated, summa cum laude, in 1971. While attending law school, he was a Note Editor for the Indiana Law Journal and was Order of the Coif. Before joining Ice Miller in 1972, Mr. Kemper clerked for the Honorable John S. Hastings, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana.

Ms. Brown's primary area of concentration is immigration law. She represents and advises corporations, organizations, and colleges and universities in the filing of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions with the Citizenship and Immigration Services (formerly INS) and the Departments of Labor and State. Recent legal matters include obtaining work authorized visa status for key professional and managerial employees, and obtaining permanent resident status based on extraordinary ability, outstanding research, and labor certification. She also routinely advises clients on compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act and income tax withholding obligations with respect to foreign national employees. She is a member of the Indiana and Indianapolis Bar Associations and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Ms. Brown was elected President of the Indiana Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, 2002-2004, and currently serves as a mentor to other AILA members. Ms. Brown is also a regular speaker on a variety of immigration topics for the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and other related events. Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana, Ms. Brown graduated with honors from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science in 1994. She was an intern with the Office of Senator Richard G. Lugar and the Indiana House of Representatives while an undergraduate student. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, in 1998. Since joining the Firm in October 1999, Ms. Brown has been actively involved in advising local pro bono organizations benefiting political refugees and low-income foreign nationals. She serves as a board member and secretary to Ambassadors for Children, a nonprofit organization focused on serving at-risk children worldwide through volunteer travel programs. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana.

Jennifer Andres is an associate at Ice Miller LLP, concentrating her practice in the areas of environmental and corporate law. Her environmental practice consists of assisting clients with regulatory matters at the state and federal level regarding compliance and enforcement matters, permitting issues and remedial activities.

Jody DeFord is an associate in the Firm's business litigation section. She represents clients in all phases of litigation in both federal and state courts, and in alternative dispute resolution.

Judy Okenfuss has been a litigator with Ice Miller since 1991. She currently focuses her practice on products liability litigation and risk management, crisis management and litigation avoidance. Judy is also a member of the Firm's Agricultural Law Initiative.

Julia Hawkins is a legal nurse consultant in Ice Miller's Litigation Group, working in the areas of medical malpractice defense and pharmaceutical products liability defense.

Katherine concentrates her practice in defense of complex, often bet-the-company and/or multi-district litigation. This practice includes pharmaceutical and medical device defense and toxic tort and product liability defense. She is best known for her passion for her clients, their problems and the law, and her aggressive approach to defending clients.

Kristin McNulty McClellan is an associate in the Firm's Municipal Finance group. Her practice focuses on tax-exempt financing for the State of Indiana and health care institutions.

Lisa Gethers is an associate in the Firm's Healthcare Transactions Group, concentrating her practice on the representation of various health care related clients involving federal and state legislative and regulatory issues, compliance, and contracts.

Mark Barnes concentrates his practice on corporate and securities law matters, including securities offerings, public company governance and securities law compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Barnes devotes a significant portion of his practice to financial services companies, including banks and thrifts, insurance companies, broker-dealers, and investment advisers. Representative transactions in which Mr. Barnes has participated in recent years include numerous acquisitions by banks or thrifts of other banks or thrifts in SEC-registered merger transactions; the response by a publicly-held insurance company to an unsolicited tender offer; purchases and sales by insurance companies of significant lines of business through mergers or through asset acquisitions coupled with reinsurance transactions; the reorganization of mutual insurance companies under mutual insurance holding company structures; the public sale by a shareholder of $500 million of restricted common stock of a listed company in an underwritten block trade; the formation of two new Indiana banks including the sale of their capital stock in initial public offerings; the sale of trust preferred securities; and a bank holding company's repurchase of common stock pursuant to a self tender offer filed with the SEC. Mr. Barnes has experience serving on the board of directors of a publicly-held bank holding company and one of its community bank subsidiaries. Mr. Barnes is included in Best Lawyers in America , a national peer-selected guide, and as among Indiana's "Super Lawyers" , a state peer-selected guide. Mr. Barnes is a native of Springfield, Ohio. Mr. Barnes joined Ice Miller in 1999 after 22 years of private practice at other Indianapolis firms. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana.

Mark Jones is co-chair of the Collegiate Sports Practice and will concentrate on NCAA infractions and compliance matters along with providing services in connection with NCAA governance and related issues. He also works with Ice Miller's college and university clients on variety of matters.

Nancy has served 15+ years as a paralegal in corporate and firm environments. While at a Fortune 500 company, her responsibilities included Hart-Scott-Rodino filings, contract law and products liability. At Ice Miller, Nancy works on corporate, creditors' rights, bankruptcy and UCC matters and is the Firm's audit letter supervisor.

Natalie Dean is an associate in the Firm's intellectual property group. She focuses her practice on patent and trademark prosecution, licensing, litigation support, transactional work, and handling intellectual property issues for start-ups. She is experienced with technologies in various fields, including the life sciences.

Paul Sweeney practices primarily in the Firm's labor and employment law and employment litigation groups. In the course of Mr. Sweeney's experience he has had numerous jury trials in Indiana's state and federal courts and has assisted clients in all facets of litigation, including arbitration and mediation.

Randle Pollard serves as senior counsel in the Firm's Bond and Business Sections. Prior to joining Ice Miller, Mr. Pollard was Domestic Tax Counsel for Eli Lilly and Company.

Mr. Poor provides labor and employment law advice and counsel, including representation in litigation in state and federal court and before administrative bodies, collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, and labor relations services, assistance with employment contracts and separation agreements, and the development of policies, procedures, and training programs.

Ryan is an Associate with Ice Miller's Labor & Employment Group. Ryan represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters, including federal and state litigation, administrative proceedings before the EEOC and the NLRB, collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, union organizing, and the development of employment policies and practices.
