Eric is responsible for Information Technology and Operations at ICONIX, Inc. This includes strategic planning and the overall management of all Iconix systems and service operations. He brings strong IT, Operations and web experience to the business having previously held technical and management positions with rapid growth, high-tech companies Solid Data Systems, Inc., ScanSoft, Inc. and Storm Technology, Inc. Eric was the founder of an IT consulting firm targeting small businesses with web and IT needs. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from San Jose State University.

Bill brings his business experience as General Partner for Central Ventures, a boutique venture capital firm focusing on high technology software development firms. He was also Founder, President, and CEO of Gobosh, and President and CEO of Wyatt River Software. Bill founded Central Design Systems, Inc. and was VP of Sales at Highland Digital and Cadence Design Systems. During his career, Bill has led or managed 18 mergers, and shares his expertise by giving presentations across the country. He has a BS in Mathematics from the University of Washington, and a MBA from Boston University. Bill is a sports fanatic, and was a professional athlete whose career included two seasons with the NBA Portland Trailblazers.

Scott is responsible for all aspects of product development at ICONIX, and brings both technical experience as well as Vice President of Engineering experience to the company. Scott has over 20 years of experience designing and developing voice and data communication hardware and software. Most recently, he was Vice President of Engineering at Strataverio Inc., an engineering consulting firm specializing in creative solutions for email and advanced email services. While at Strataverio, he led groups implementing email archiving; email server recovery; email server clustering; email authentication and extending popular email clients such as MS Outlook. Scott has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Scott loves to travel, usually incorporating heavy doses of motorcycle riding, hiking and even Shakespeare.

Mr. Picazo a cofounder of X One, Inc.and Chairman of the Board. He is also the Founder of Iconix, bringing his extensive experience in identifying a market need and then building a product and company to fill that need. He also brings a strong background in mergers and acquisitions. Previously, he served as General Manager of the Converged Communications Product Division at Intel, which he joined when Intel purchased Picazo Communications, where he was President and Founder. Mr. Picazo was a Founder of Network Resources Corporation, which was later purchased by NetWorth, where he remained until he joined Compaq upon their purchase of NetWorth. He also held numerous engineering positions at Hughes LAN Systems, Sytek and IBM. Mr. Picazo holds a BS in Industrial Technology from San Jose State University and holds 12 patents in the field of networking systems and communications.

Robert J. Balch is a Vice President of Cycad Group. Immediately prior to joining Cycad Group in 2004, Bob was a founding partner of Taraval Associates Seed Capital Fund; a venture fund specializing very early stage life sciences companies. As part of his activities with TASCF, Bob spent significant time working in Australia and New Zealand with entrepreneurs, government agencies and the venture capital communities (funding three companies and serving on the board of directors of one). Bob's activities at Cycad include managing portfolio companies, identifying new opportunities and assisting with the due diligence. Bob serves on the board of directors of SteriFx, Inc. and Agile Materials and Technologies, Inc. Bob brings extensive small business development and growth management experience to his venture capital activities. Early in his career Bob worked in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. He was also among the earliest employees in two healthcare startups: EndoTherapeutics (minimally invasive surgery) and Tokos Medical (perinatal monitoring). Bob then spent 11 years with Mark Products, Inc., a telecommunications company. He was the General Manager of Mark Products, with responsibility for all aspects the business when he left to form Taraval Associates Seed Capital Fund in 1997. Bob holds a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from California State University, Sacramento and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.

Hugh Y. Rienhoff Jr. is an entrepreneur who in 1998 founded and was CEO of DNA Sciences (originally Kiva Genetics), a company focused on the discovery and development of human genetic diagnostics. Before founding DNA Sciences, he was a Director of Abingworth Management Ltd., where he ran the US operation for that London-based venture capital firm. Prior to Abingworth, he was a Partner at New Enterprise Associates, a venture investment firm based in Menlo Park, California and Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Rienhoff was a founding director of Healtheon (Nasdaq:HLTH), Aurora BioSciences (ABSC) and oversaw investments in many life science and biotechnology companies including Microcide (MCDE), Geltex (GLTX), and Anadys (ANDS). He currently serves on the boards of Peptimmune, Hydra Biosciences, GeneEd and DataHooks. Dr. Rienhoff's most recent academic appointment was as a member of the faculty in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He trained in mathematics and medicine at Harvard and the Johns Hopkins University where he received a Doctor of Medicine degree. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Biology and English Literature from Williams College.
