Jeff Malmen assumed the position of vice president, Public Affairs on Oct. 1, 2008. Malmen joined the company in December 2007 as senior manager of Governmental Affairs. Before joining Idaho Power, Malmen enjoyed a 21-year career in state and federal politics, most recently serving as chief of staff for Idaho Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter. He held the same position for Gov. Phil Batt and was administrator of the Division of Financial Management for Gov. Dirk Kempthorne. Malmen also served as chief of staff and in other key leadership positions for a number of Idaho congressmen and senators, both in the state and in Washington, D.C.

J. LaMont Keen assumed the responsibilities of president and chief executive officer of IDACORP on July 1, 2006. He has been president and chief operating officer of Idaho Power since January 2002 and was appointed chief executive officer of Idaho Power in November 2005. Keen also has served on the IDACORP and Idaho Power board of directors since July 15, 2004. Keen joined Idaho Power in 1975. He has served as an officer of Idaho Power and/or IDACORP since 1988. He has filled numerous positions of responsibility including controller, chief financial officer, as well as senior vice president of Administrative Services for Idaho Power where he had responsibility for all administrative areas of the company including Finance, Information Services, Corporate Services, Human Resources, Legal, Legislative Affairs and Corporate Communications. Keen also has played an active role in developing IDACORP's subsidiaries, being involved at either the officer or director level in all the company's diversified business ventures. Keen is a graduate of Albertson College and has completed the Harvard Graduate School of Business Advanced Management Program. He is a board member and a member of the executive committee for the Western Energy Institute. He is also a board member and former chairman of the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry. Keen began serving a three-year term on the Edison Electric Institute's board of directors in June 2006.

Robert A. Tinstman is a consultant for Tinstman and Associates, LLC, a construction consulting company. From May 2002 until May 2007, he was Executive Chairman of the James Construction Group, LLC, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a construction company. Prior to that, Mr. Tinstman was the sole owner and a consultant of Tinstman & Associates, Boise, Idaho, a construction consulting company, from May 1999 until May 2002. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Morrison-Knudsen Company, Boise, Idaho, an engineering, construction and mining company, from 1995 until February 1999, where he had been employed since May 1974. Mr. Tinstman is also a director of IDACORP, Inc., Boise, Idaho, and CNA Surety Corporation, a Chicago, Illinois insurance agency, both of which are public companies.
