Jerre L. Stead joined the Brightpoint, Inc. Board of Directors on June 1, 2000 and currently serves as the Company’s Lead Independent Director. He is also a member of the Company’s Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and Compensation and Human Resources Committee. From 1996 until his June 1, 2000 retirement, Mr. Stead was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ingram Micro Inc., a leading distributor of computers and peripherals. Mr. Stead has also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Square D Co., AT&T Global Information Solutions (NCR Corporation) and Legent Corporation. Jeff Tarr was named president and chief operatingofficer of IHS in December 2008. He previouslyserved as co-president and co-chief operating officersince November 2007. Tarr led the engineeringsegment as president and chief operating officersince joining the company in 2004. Tarr began his career with Bain & Company, a leading strategy consulting firm based inParis. Later, he was a vice president and general manager at U S WEST, where heserved on the executive team of the $1.5 billion revenue-producing yellow pagespublishing subsidiary (now Dex Media, a division of R.H. Donnelley). In that role, hespearheaded the creation of the company’s leading Internet yellow pages business. Tarr received his bachelor’s degree in public and international affairs from PrincetonUniversity and his master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University.

Jane Okun was named to the newly created position of SVP and Chief Customer Process Officer in July 2007. In this role, she will be responsible for the implementation of a global ERP system which will replace all current billing and financial systems. She will also continue leading the company's investor relations and corporate communications activities worldwide. She is a seasoned corporate finance professional with 19 years of experience and expertise in investor relations, integrated communications, financial planning, financial analysis, corporate planning and accounting. Jane has held the top investor relations position at several firms including a number of Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining IHS in 2004, Jane was a partner with Genesis, Inc., a consulting firm that specializes in the areas of strategic positioning, investor relations, and integrated strategic communications. Previous to her tenure with Genesis, Jane headed investor relations at Velocom, Inc., MediaOne Group, and Northwest Airlines. Jane also held several management positions in corporate finance at both Northwest Airlines and American Airlines. She started her professional career as a Certified Public Accountant with Price Waterhouse in Detroit. A native of New York City, Jane holds both a BGS and an MBA from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. She did a portion of her graduate studies at the Stockholm School of Economics. John Oechsle joined IHS in July 2003 as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for all Technology and Content Accumulation worldwide including Product Development, Product Architecture, Internal Business Applications, Infrastructure, Content Operation Centers and Data Accumulation. He brings to IHS experience in worldwide IT infrastructure standardization, e-business, and commercial product development as well as expertise in strategic IT enabled business planning, large program/project management, and technology business solutions. Prior to IHS, John was the Company CIO, Vice President Information Management Worldwide, for Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, a $1.5 billion Johnson & Johnson (J&J) company, where he was responsible for all information technology and e-business on a worldwide basis. Prior to Ortho, John established the Latin American business unit of Networking & Computing Services (NCS) for J&J and also served as the Latin American Executive Director. He has also held executive positions as Sr. Vice President, CTO for Land America Financial Group and Director, Global Information Management for Kellogg Company. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University in Camden, NJ, and is a graduate of the Tuck Executive Program at Dartmouth College's Amos Tuck School of Business Administration in Hanover, NH. Mike Sullivan joined IHS in October 1999 as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, and was promoted to Executive Vice President and CFO in April 2006. Mike leads the worldwide finance organization, where he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of finance and accounting, tax and treasury. Mike is very involved in setting business strategy, overseeing operations, actively participating in the Company’s corporate development efforts, and generally driving shareholder value creation. Daniel Yergin is a highly respected authority on international politics, economics and energy. He is a Pulitzer Prize winner and recipient of the United States Energy Award for “lifelong achievements in energy and the promotion of international understanding.” He is both a world-recognized author and a business leader, as Chairman of Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA). With 200 employees around the world, CERA is one of the world's leading consulting and research firms in its field, and is one of the key companies within IHS, of which he is Executive Vice President Dr. Yergin received the Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction for his work The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money and Power, which became a #1 national best seller and was made into an eight-hour PBS/BBC series seen by 20 million people in the United States. The book has been translated into 12 languages. His subsequent book, The Commanding Heights: The Battle for the World Economy has received wide attention for its analysis and narrative of how the “world is changing its mind about markets and government.” The Wall Street Journal said, “No one could ask for a better account of the world's political and economic destiny since World War II.” It has been translated into 13 languages. As executive producer, Dr. Yergin led the team that turned it into a six-hour PBS/BBC documentary. The Washington Post described the series as “stunningly ambitious, brilliantly successful... No more important program for making sense of our life and times has been seen on the air in at least a decade and just possibly a good deal longer.” It received three Emmy nominations, a CINE Golden Eagle award and the New York Festivals Gold World Medal for best documentary. The series website won a BAFTA as a “milestone in the development of broadband content.” Dr. Yergin and CERA Senior Director Thane Gustafson authored Russia 2010 and What It Means for the World, which The New York Times called “invaluable” and The Financial Times described as “extraordinarily intelligent.” Dr. Yergin was awarded the Medal of the President of the Republic of Italy for combining “an understanding of the dynamics of the market with a broad view of the forces of geopolitics as he seeks to point the way to the positive outcomes for the world community.” Dr. Yergin is CNBC's Global Energy Expert. He is a Trustee of the Brookings Institution, a member of the Board of the United States Energy Association and a member of the National Petroleum Council. He is vice chair of the new National Petroleum Council study Facing the Hard Truths About Energy. He also chaired the US Department of Energy's Task Force on Strategic Energy Research and Development. Dr. Yergin is a Director of the U.S.-Russia Business Council, the Atlantic Partnership and the New America Foundation. He is the only foreign member of the Russian Academy of Oil and Gas, and is one of the “Wise Men” of the International Gas Union. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Peterson Institute for International Economics and is on the Advisory Board to the Energy Initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Yergin received his BA from Yale University, and his PhD from Cambridge University, where he was a Marshall Scholar. He previously taught at the Harvard Business School and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.

Richard G. Walker joined IHS as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development in December 2006. Steve Green joined the legal department of IHS parent corporation in 1981 and became chief legal officer for IHS in 1996. Steve is responsible for IHS legal guidance and counsel including mergers and acquisitions as well as legal and regulatory compliance. In addition, Steve provides legal counsel for IHS regarding protection of IHS intellectual property and contractual relationships arising from the company’s global business. Prior to joining IHS, Steve worked in various capacities in the New York legal community, including a law clerkship for a New York State Supreme Court Judge. Prior to the clerkship, Steve was an associate in the Corporate department of Kelley, Drye & Warren, a large New York City law firm whose corporate practice included acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, financings and other corporate legal matters. Thomas (Tom) Littman is responsible for building and maintaining Standards Developing Organizations (SDO) relationships, product management, marketing, and e-business and project data management. Tom has over 35 years experience in the areas of business operations, sales, services, e-commerce, manufacturing, production, and distribution. He began his career at IHS in 1984 on the U.S. east coast in the field sales organization and then accelerated through a variety of field positions, becoming Director of Sales in 1989. Since 1990 Tom has held several executive positions, including Director of Executive Operations, Senior Director of D.A.T.A. Business Publishing, and Vice President of International Operations. From 1995 to 1999, Tom was Senior Vice President and then President of Global/DATA Resources. Later he became Senior Vice President of International Sales for the Engineering segment and then ran Global Engineering Documents, leading to all of Technical Publishing. Mr. Klein has served as a member of our Board since December 2003. In March 2008, Mr. Klein was appointed Chairman of the Institutional Clients Group of Citigroup Inc. He had previously served as Chairman & Co-Chief Executive Officer of Citi Markets & Banking since February 2007. He is a member of the Business Heads Group, the Operating Committee, and the Management Committee of Citigroup Inc. Mr. Klein also serves as Vice Chairman of Citigroup International PLC. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Citigroup Global Banking, a position he held since the Group's inception in February 2004, and as Chief Executive Officer of Citigroup Inc. Global Corporate and Investment Bank for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He has also held the positions of Chief Executive Officer of Citigroup Inc. Corporate and Investment Banking, Europe, and Co-Head of Global Investment Banking for Salomon Smith Barney, a member of Citigroup Inc., from 2000 to 2003.

Mr. Roedel has served as a member of our Board since November 2004. From November 2002 through June 2005 he served on the board, and from April 2004 through January 2005 he held various executive positions, at Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. Mr. Roedel was an audit partner in BDO Seidman LLP from 1985 to 2000 and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BDO Seidman from 1999 to 2000. He currently serves on the board of directors and is a member of the audit committee of Brightpoint, Inc., Sealy Corporation, and Luna Innovations. From November 2005 until November 2007, Mr. Roedel was a member of the board of Dade Behring Holdings, Inc. Mr. Roedel also currently serves on the board of directors of the Association of Audit Committee Members Inc., a not-for-profit organization.

Mr. Holtback has served as a member of our Board since December 2003. Since 2001, Mr. Holtback has served as Chairman of Holtback Invest AB. From 2001 through 2006, Mr. Holtback was also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Holtback Holding AB and Holtback Invest AB. From 1993 to 2001 he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bure Equity AB. From 1991 to 1993, he served as a member of the Group Executive Committee of SEB and Coordinating Chairman of SEB Sweden. From 1984 to 1990, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Volvo Car Corporation and Executive Vice President of AB Volvo. Mr. Holtback is currently Chairman of the board of directors of Gunnebo AB, a company listed on the Swedish Stock Exchange, as well as of Finnveden Holding AB, Aditro AB, MediaTec Group AB, and The Swedish Exhibition Centre.
